I guess good service stops when you drive off the lot! It is like pulling hens teeth trying to get anyone to answer in the service department was told you have to go online to book a service! The great solution would be not to buy car town kias products and move on to someones is going to be there from start to finish! Very dissatisfied and disappointed in Car Town Kia and I will know better next time!! Their warranties are the greatest thing ever invented while you are setting across from them and they are selling you this but just wait till you get to go use it and youll find out what its worth

They advertise false prices. We set an appointment to see a specific car but when we arrived, the car was marked up $8,000. None of that was told to us over the phone, which is sad because my husband mentioned a specific vehicle in our budget. They say it’s negotiable, but why even have it on there? We have been shopping for a new car all week and no other dealership has been doing this (Volvo, Jeep, Lexus, Chevy, Buick). I would give zero, but that’s not an option.

My husband wanted nothing other than to send our Kia Forte to Kia to be repaired by their mechanics. We were first text and told our car had a miss and wasnt starting. We automatically called because when it was towed from our home it was running. The guy drove it up to the tow truck. We explained everything that was happening, and that we believed it to have a timing issue. The next day we received a text that our car had a blown motor, and the motor needed to entirely be replaced. We were told metal shavings had damaged the engine. This was the second red flag. We then decided we would have the car towed to another mechanic for a second opinion. At that point we had to pay $160 for the diagnosis we received and $200 to once again have it towed. We then find out that our motor is complelty fine and we only have a timing issue. So not only did I have to pay $160 for a bogus diagnosis, but Im out the $400 having it towed to and from Kia. Thankfully we.went with our gut. Kia wanted 5,600 to replace a motor when $983 fixed our cars timing issue and an oil change that didnt contain metal. Never again will we ever go back and we will always steer people clear.

Our salesman DJ was great. He hadn’t been there long but seemed knowledgeable and helped us get what we wanted. Finance dept on the other hand I would give a 0 out of 10. They told me my credit and income was good said they had us approved we signed the papers and drove home. Two days later got a message that my wife needed to co-sign and proceeded to run our credit again with another bank without ever asking me to do that.

This dealer is playing games with their prices. They advertise 16K for a car and when you come in they tell you the same car with the same stock number advertised is 21K. What a waste of time. Just advertise the price of the car and be honest.

Car Town Kia was Amazing to work with! My 2016 Kia Optima with 87K miles need a new engine and Kia 10 Year 100K power train warranty covered All Expenses. As difficult as it is to get parts I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get my car repaired with a new engine. Mike, Evona, Jessica and the entire service department are Top Notch. I would also like to thank the GM for having such a great team that stands behind their customers.

I hate to give a bad review because I have owned 2 Kias in the past and had a good experience.But I am extremely frustrated at my latest encounter. I was looking to purchase the KIA Carnival. Online it was listed for $40,000 and some change. On the vehicle price sticker, it had the same price. And I also called and they told me this price. BUT, once we sat down to start the deal, they say that the vehicle is $48,000. $8,000 more than what I was told multiple times. I even called the sales department while sitting in the dealership and asked again for the specific price. & was told $40,000 by a woman named Sophia. But Lincoln, our salesman said otherwise and that he would be having a talk with Sophia about this. This is False Advertisement. All you all are doing is trying to tell someone a cheaper price to bring them in only to tell them something different. I am very disappointed. Also, we had Lincoln both times that we went in and he acted like he was miserable doing his job. Poor customer service.

This is going to be a very long review, but it’s going to be a great review. I was a first time buyer and had been looking for a long time. I was looking for a Ford F-150. My experiences with other dealerships were horrible. Luckily I found Cartown Kia. The moment I walked through the door I was greeted with professionalism. Our salesmen Ben was beyond anyone my fiancé and I could have asked for, he helped us every step of the way: Closing the deal was easy and hassle free. Now fast forward when I took the truck home, i noticed it had kind of a squeaking sound when it was idle and the engine light had come on. I messaged Ben (he provided me with his personal phone number) He told me to bring the truck back so they could take a look at it, Now at this time I did not expect I would be leaving it there for such a lengthy period of time, however, we were provided with a rental (no charge), now we had this rental for about a month and a half. The rental was 2021 Kia Forte (great car). During this period of time the service department was having trouble figuring out what exactly was causing the engine light and specific code. The service team continuously troubleshooted everything that was causing the code, a month and half later they finally figured out what was causing it. Now I know a lot of people will read this and think that’s a long time but I did not want to rush them and I am a fairly patient person. I was receiving updates everyday from our salesman Ben, a service member by the name of Jessica (provided us with her personal number) and of course the wonderful service manager Evona who also provided us with her personal phone number. I can not shout out these three individuals more, they all truly cared and it showed. I will also add that even though they had it for so long they even sent a check to pay for my first payment. i could not have asked for a better truck, experience, and overall customer satisfaction. I can’t thank them enough. My fiancé and I will surely return for any future purchases.PS: This truck runs like it’s brand new! :)

The cafe is a great addition to Kias full service dealership. The staff is professional and very friendly. While you are waiting, you can get a snack or a meal.Every order is cooked to order so that its hot and fresh. The lobby is quite spacious with televisions to watch while you eat.

My 2019 Kia Sportage needed recall done. I took my car in for this service and an oil change, that went fine and the staff was very nice. Discovered my weather stripping was coming apart on the front doors and was covered under warranty. Was told the dealership would contact me when the parts came in, no call from them. I called June 17,2021 the parts are in. I called the service department to schedule this work to be done and asked how long it would take, service rep said she would ask and call me back, no call back from her! I called later in the later and the phone was answered by the switch-board one time. Call was sent to service, no answer in the service department. I called back 20 more times and never got an answer from anyone! Now I have to drive an hour to simply make an appointment to have the work done. After this work is done I will not be back! I will drive 2 hours to Louisville dealership(s) to have future oil changes and such done.

What a waste of time I went down the road and got a much nicer trim Kia Soul that what they were offering … what a joke of a dealership let give u my trade in so I can pay msrp … what world do they live in??? I’d suggest Clarksville Kia store in Clarksville Indiana the extra hour and 20 minutes was well worth the better deal and working with people that actually want to sell vehicles …. I wouldn’t buy anything from them. Even if they some how get back to reality someday

I feel I got into the Kia brand just as the models have taken the world by storm, but this review is about people. I watched as a customer became irate with staff over a perceived mistake. When it was found everything was done well the customer was happy but they berated the staff in between. The staff didn’t falter though. They were a masterclass in diffusing that tension when they really had no reason to be in the wrong. Oh, and they did my oil change/tires in about 40 minutes. Love it.

My biggest issue is you can’t ever get ahold of anyone in the service department. I have had my car there for almost 2 months dealing with warranty issues and every time I would try and call to ask a question or get an update on anything I would always get the answering machine and I would never get calls back. Other than that, once my car was fixed everything was good.

I am blown away by how horrible my experience was at this dealership. I went in and was very upfront and honest. I don’t need a new car so I was looking to pay exactly what the MSRP was. You know, like most people would. I didn’t try to offer anything less. I even accepted a trade in offer, 2k less than the KBB value of my current car. MSRP for the vehicle I was looking at was 36,425. I was willing to pay exactly that. They tried to sell me the vehicle 6k over MSRP!!!! They rudely told me “I needed to be flexible” they were condescending and told me “you can’t get a vehicle for MSRP price, they’re always above that price, ever since the pandemic.” they told me my current car- a 2019 RAV4 was not nearly as nice and “really small” and that’s why people trade them in. This was before we even got into any type of financing or interest rates…..I’m so grateful that I wasn’t in a position where I needed to buy a car from them because wow-they definitely try to take advantage of you with horrible customer service.

Spent some time with salesperson Tyler who was fantastic even though as he stated he had only been there three months. After getting all our information and settling on a car we really liked, was undercut on our trade in by almost $4k despite us getting the larger quote from 4 different dealerships in the greater Lex area. We decided to pass due to this.Afterwards the Used Car Manager Kenny sent a very rude text to my wife implying that our friend who is also a car salesperson and manager was less honest than his team (Tyler) and guilting us for not buying after spending the time shopping vehicles.In addition, Kenny submitted TWO hard inquiries on our credit despite telling us he was only doing a soft check.We will never buy a vehicle from any division of Car Town Kia in Nicholasville after this experience. I hope Kenny realizes his “25 years selling cars” means nothing when you act like that.

Went there with my son to help him a get a car. Told them he had a good co-signer, exactly what he had down ($1000), a trade in that was upside down by a grand or two, what percent interest it needed to be at or lower, and what the car payment needed to be. Jim (the one finger typist salesman) comes back and says “Ok we know you aren’t putting $4990 (5 times what we said we had) down so let’s mark that out. Ok we don’t want your payment at 680-690 (twice what we said we would pay) and wanted my son to initial and sign a paper saying if they could get it closer to what he agreed upon that he would buy. I told Jim don’t waste our time either you can do it or you can’t. He had parked the car behind my car so I couldn’t leave. He started stuttering “Well I’m going to get it closer”. I told him that we weren’t playing games and to move the car so I could leave. He hesitated and said he wasn’t done negotiating. I told him to move the car or I’d move it with mine. He moved it finally and we left. I will never deal with people like this again. Either you can do the deal or you can’t. Don’t deal with these strong arm tactic kind of people. They are very dishonest. The price listed on the car was $20k. On the paper he brought it was $24k.

Horrible experience! Communication is awful! Brought my car in on 1-29-21 was told they needed to order parts and they’d call back, a month later still no call back so I call them, they claimed my part hadn’t arrived but would be there in a couple days. Still no call back a week later so I called them. Part came in so I scheduled to bring it in. Let them know I’d be staying with it bc I live a hour away. Arrive at 8:30 am. By 11:30 no one had communicated anything with me. So I go ask for a update. They told me it’d be around 2:30 before they were finished. Had they told me this i would have had someone follow me up and drop it off instead of wait all day not knowing. I have kids to pick up from school at 2:45 no way to make that time frame. In no way did they care or try to accommodate my situation that could have been handled differently had they communicated better.

We live over an hour away. Talked to them several times during the day about a specific seltos they had on their website. Was told they still had it. Even sent us pictures. Drove all the way there and they had not had that car in two weeks. In fact they didn’t have any of the cats we inquired about. They also don’t advertise the correct price. If youre in the market for a car, ask for Lonnie! He is super knowledgeable and works hard to find you a vehicle to match your wants/needs. He answered all my questions and gave great recommendations on cars that I might like. For not being a car girl myself, Lonnie patiently explained my options and what to except price-wise as we went through my bucket list. He was super professional and down to earth. First of all, the mask mandate is not lifted and this dealership does not enforce COVID policies. The hand sanitizer dispenser was not operating and the man at the desk told us we didn’t have to wear our masks inside. Eric is quite an arrogant salesman and spoke more about his driving skills and bragging on his personal life than any helpful information. He told us we would be able to switch out the halogen base headlights for LED before a sale. Come to find out that they can’t do that!! What a horrid waste of time. He supposedly is trained on the car and is an “expert” but later confessed he had very little personal driving time in the vehicle and has never taken it out at night. In order to be an expert you have to know your product and not just read about it. He also didn’t know how many airbags were in the car and was very pushy on the test drive about accelerating up to high speeds in a 35 mph zone, then bragged about how he was born in Nicholasville and knew all the cops so not to worry. Overall very unpleasant experience and I suggest he get more training and learn how to be honest up-front about whether he knows an answer or not instead of leading us on and wasting our time. If you want to sell a car, leave your ego at home.

Went to Kia Nicholasville today and I’m new to Kentucky. I have a 2017 Nissan Altima SR with only 36K miles that’s paid off and wanted to trade it in for the new K5 GT Line. Jim was my salesman. After telling him my credit score his whole mood changed and it was like I wasn’t even worth it! This is not good business practice. If I come back to that store I’ll love to work with someone else who’s willing to work with someone with a fair credit score. I was ready to buy the vehicle today. I wish there was another Kia dealership that’s close by because I didn’t like his energy at all! Also I didn’t get my vehicle appraised and he was rushing me into a credit app. Never make a customer feel pressured. I’m a car salesman myself at Don Jacobs and we treat every customer the same regardless of credit. I wouldn’t recommend Jim not after I was pushed to the side and was told no when I wanted my vehicle appraised.

Overall, my experience with this dealer was abysmal.We had reached out through the internet and was communicating through email about a deal on a 2020 sedan. We were told they had the vehicle in stock and setup an appt. to come see it.When we arrived, we were told we had to wait because they had not salespeople available to help us right now. Not a big deal and about 10 minutes later someone came over to greet us. We explained that we had been emailing with Tyger and provided the details of the vehicle we were looking for. The salesperson immediately asked for our driver licenses, I asked why, and they said it was for the test drive. I advised them that I was not interested in a test drive, I was interested in buying a car. They proceeded to argue with me about how I needed to test drive the car because something could be wrong with it (not a great argument in my opinion). They did a search for the car I was looking for and could not find it. Not looking to make this already long review any longer let me sum up what followed. The email chain clearly stated what we were looking for, the salesperson tried to convince me that I was just stupid and was reading it wrong. We ask to speak to a manager. The salesperson lowered their mask smirked at us and said sure. They came back a few minutes later and said that the manager was NOT willing to talk to use unless we came back Monday. We traveled over an hour, the salesperson knew it, the management knew it. Telling us to come back Monday was the equivalent of telling us to pound sand and get out.

I dont usually leave reviews, let alone negatives one. Unfortunately, our recent experience with Car Town Kias service department has managed to erase any goodwill remaining from a fifteen year relationship with the dealership.Ten days ago my mother took her vehicle in to have them fix a leaking valve cover gasket. The gasket was under warranty, but they were happy to upsell her on an additional $550 worth of services. Services that included replacing her front hood shocks so that now you basically have to sit on the hood itself to get it to close. But hey, theyre in the automotive industry and shes unfamiliar with cars, so I guess thats a way for them to make some extra money.The problem is that after they returned the vehicle, a previously-working radio and speaker system magically no longer functioned. We first noticed the problem with the radio presets almost immediately; if you turned the car off and then back on again, anything saved to the radio would reset to default every time. The speakers worked a couple days longer, and those too shut off. Its okay, though. Without the distraction of a radio, you can now hear a very audible humming from the engine that was also completely absent beforehand.My mother took it back in to address these issues. After a cursory check by the attendants, she was told they had done nothing wrong and that these new problems would be on her to fix. Either give them $900 to replace the radio, or go out and buy her own for $250 and have it replaced by someone else. According to them, they had never messed with the radio, and thus were not responsible. Despite there never being any problems with the radio prior to this visit, or the fact that the lengthy list of repairs that they upsold her on would have -- at the very least -- required them to disconnect the cars battery. That was the end of the discussion on their part, and she was dismissed.Thats fine. Well take it elsewhere to fix the problem they clearly caused.At least theres been some entertainment value from this whole mess. Among our immediate family we have three cars from the dealership that are actively being driven, two of which are due to be replaced in the next couple years. The fact that a wrench turner in the service department will end up costing the dealership itself tens of thousands of dollars in future sales from an entire family of established customers is pretty hilarious, if you think about it.

When he explained things, he did so respectfully. And, although I was aware he had other customers, he made me feel like I was his only focus - his highest priority. I have been a Kia owner with my last 4 cars. Love the product but not happy with Car Town Kia. This was my first time dealing with them. They promised me when I turn in my lease vehicle with them and buy another Kia, i would not be charged anything from Kia. Now i get a $400 bill from Kia because I financed thru another bank besides Kia even though I purchased anoyher Kia. The dealership could pay that to Kia finance but they are giving me the run around and not communication has been horrible. I will drive to Louisville to by my next Kia. Horrible customer service.

Sent my wifes vehicle to get repaired. $500 dollars later initial problem isn’t repaired. We arrive to pick up our Kia Sorento after having been fixed and she gets 5 miles from the dealership before it breaks down in traffic. Prior to leaving the dealership staff stated they saw a manifold code that was not there the day prior and decided clearing it and sending her on her way was the best option. I should also mention that the airbag light was on upon being delivered for the service and repair and they did not fix nor inquire about fixing it. So now we will spend the better part of the morning waiting on a tow truck. And being down a vehicle for another extended period of time when we both work night shift 5 days a week.

Gentleman at the counter at the service area was very, very professional, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately I didnt get his name. He welcomed me, thanked me for being a new customer, showed me all the enemities of the waiting room, which there were many. After our car was serviced, he walked me outside and took the time to put an oil change reminder within the computer system of our new car. Kia needs to utilize this young man as the frontman to demonstrate what excellence is in customer service and how its supposed to be... He deserves a huge ATTABOY!!
