This is one of the best stores in Kentucky and I dont say that lightly because I travel for work. Its one of those places you can just go and hangout like a barbershop. The owner Scott is great and super knowledgeable.

Very helpful owner! I inherited firearms and needed to value and sell them. Scott gave me excellent appraisals (showed me GunBroker data, discussed market trends etc.) I placed items for consignment with Nicholasville Reloading and each item sold within a month at the price point Scott estimated. Highly recommend.

I felt comfortable with owner. Ammunition cost reasonable but he sold me a gun over priced by 200.00. Taurus g2c is 249.00 retail I paid 449. Retail. My fault for trusting and not checking on line He’s a good sales man though. I went in only for ammoPlus used Apple Cash and still charge 2 percent more like a cc I can understand cc but Apple Cash is cash no costs. So as a woman he ripped me off.I will say love the gun but will be returning. Hope he is honest to take back or meet online cost. If so I’ll change my rating I thought this would be my gun & ammo shop. Close to home. Won’t ever trust gun sales without going on line first. My fault trust.Well let me back up on this review. My apologizes to the owner whom I said was a nice guy. I over reacted and felt really dumb when I looked on internet for the Taurus g2c. The price I paid was actually a deal. So please know I over reacted at first. I went in and talked to the owner and my discrepancies was because of the package deal I had received. I am a novelist about gun purchases. Like I said I felt he was very good and I felt good with him. The difference in price was additional with lax or the complete package I received. After going into discuss with him he showed me the difference from the gun and the package deal I received. I knew I had the package yet I could not find on internet so I thought they came that way. This shop is a 5 star. My complete apologies to the owner.This will be my place to purchase ammo and any other form of gun. Their ammo prices are Amazing compared to any other shop I’ve looked at.And honestly after the total information ladies trust this place.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I’m new to reloading and Scott helped me out with all we needed. Very friendly and family oriented. They didn’t mind my four young ones at all. I drive from Georgetown to do business here and will continue to do so because it’s nice to be appreciated rather than be treated like just another number.

Walked In and bought a s&w 9mm. Nice staff in and out experience. This was my first time buying a firearm but I knew what I wanted and the staff wasn’t pushy

Great place! Stopped in a couple of weeks ago and got an extra mag, 50 rds 9mm fmj and 100 rds 20 gauge shells. Very friendly and knowledgeable..Best part: nobody wearing a plandemic muzzle for our govt overlords lol.Definitely coming back

If you live in Nicholasville and love guns and you’re not in this shop at least once a week, you don’t actually love guns as much as you thought. Found a old Aimpoint 1000 here for a good price. There’s always a surprisingly large selection here and worth stopping by. Thanks guys.

Stopped in for a small personal firearm and was greeted by the owner. As a younger woman, I highly recommend this shop for women interested in guns. These guys are honest and won’t try to sell you things you don’t need.They helped me quickly find 2 great pistols and the hardest part was picking which one I liked best. I chose a small .22 Ruger, brand new but their used selection was great!Gun paperwork took less than 10 minutes and I was on my way with a brand new plinker.The prices were really great and I’ll be back for new toys 👌

I stopped by Saturday (my very first time) and Im glad that I did. As soon as I walked into the store I felt like I was meeting with an old friend. Most shops if you are not a regular they will not rush to help you, but this place is different. The owner was nice and answered all of the questions that I had, the service was great and I will be back.

While he doesnt walk on water. Im actually glad he doesnt. He earned my 5 star rating. I highly recommend him. I had a matched trigger installed on my USP .45 and not one complaint. Actually dont know why I didnt do it sooner. I found the man to do my gunsmith work. I like to believe hes reasonable priced on his labour. Personally its not about the money. It was I was told this is the place to have your work done. I wanted the best and I got the best. There owner is cool as hell, if you have questions hes willing to answer any questions you have. If you have something he can answer, someone else can there. So for that and more this place earned my 5 stars. If he walked on water, I would probably give him 4 stars. Its then egos you gotta beware of. Here egos dont exist he knows we all put our pants on one leg at a time. Customer for life with me. In the future I see more using this place since I will be getting into reloading.

Great small business. They have been able to match or beat the big online gun store prices. Scott is also a great resource if you are looking to get into reloading.

It doesnt get any better than this. A small old fashioned shop where you are greeted, cut up with, share information, read the store copy books, and buy $500 worth of stuff when all you really meant to get was some primers.

Im a new reloader and Scott the owner was very helpful in getting me set up to start reloading. I like that they dont try and over sell to you, he just gives you your options and the pros and cons to both. Im very pleased with the equipment and little bit of knowledge he shares with you.
