Very friendly and courteous staff.Went in today because I had gotten small flecks of oil based paint on the lenses.They quickly removed the paint and thoroughly cleaned the lenses.I purchased two pairs of glasses from them six months ago and have been verypleased with both pairs.You can easily see how much better this family owned business is when compared to alarge national eyeglass chain. Excellent personal service.

Dr. Paula Peterson was exceptional she is very attentive to your needs and doesnt mind repeating. I loved that she wasnt satisfied until I was completely sure I was choosing the correct prescription. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!

I chose to take my family here when they began needing glasses. They had great experiences. Now it was my turn. I really appreciated the thorough exam that I recieved. It seems everything was up to date. I took my time looking at glasses and found a pair that I liked. They took the time to explain how my 2 insurances would be used in the best way and they were able to provide a discount. I was truly grateful.

After having to look for the right place to get my exam and glasses Im very happy with there services. Thomas Hill helped me with the fitting of the glasses just the way I liked and wanted. My wife found a nice frame too. The exam was a great experience with the Dr. And I started to now take the whole family for exams and purchase the frames. We had been using another optometrist & optician. After my wife had eye surgery she went to the other optometrist who said he could not provide a correction for her left eye which had the surgery.During a follow-up visit to the surgeon in Tucson we had the optometrist in that office test her eyes and write a new prescription. So we looked for a new optician (and optometrist) in our area. After reading reviews, websites, and phone calls, we decided to try Hills Optical.We were helped by Thomas Hill who is third generation of the family. He is quite young and as we later found out has just recently finished his apprenticeship. However, he is extremely knowledgeable and attentive to details. He did a very thorough job of first evaluating her current glasses, measuring, checking if the new prescription made sense, and fitting the new frames and lenses. Because her correction is very comples, the glasses could not be made immidiately.Less than a week later we go a call that the glasses were ready. When we went in to the store, Robert Hill (middle generation) helped us with the final fitting. Due largely to their attention to detail, my wifes glasses are the best she has had in years.

They helped fix my glasses in less than an hour, and fixed my mothers glasses too! the worker was very kind, i will be returning here for my contacts this summer! :)

Terrible service. When I got there I asked what my insurance would cover in where I was told there was a co-payment of $10 for the eye exam and then my insurance would cover $150 for either contact lenses or glasses in where I agreed. Paula Peterson did the eye exam and gave me a sample of contact lenses so after the appointment I told the assistant/receptionist I wanted to order the contact lenses in where she told me I had to pay the $10 for the eye exam and then a $45 fitting fee for the contact lenses. I told receptionist I was not told about the fitting fee and plus my insurance would cover the complete eye exam for either contacts or glasses and I was told in a rude manner that they charge a fitting fee so I asked if I could pay half and then the other half when picking the contacts up in where I was told no but that they could hold on the eye exam results and when I was ready to order them to call since I could also pay by phone. I asked if that fitting fee was also applicable on the regular glasses in where they said no therefore i asked if I could get the eye exam results/prescription for the regular glasses then since I paid the co-payment in where receptionist told Paula Peterson and she made another prescription erasing the contact lenses prescription and with a rude attitude she stated since I am not going to get paid for the fitting fee and the time I spent doing the contact lenses examination I need you to give back the contact lenses samples that I gave you (in where I was already wearing since she asked me to wear them when doing the eye exam) in where I agreed and they threw them away in front of me. I think it was very unprofessional and they should inform about the fitting fee before the eye exam and they way they threated me was just wrong because I was polite the entire time. Also they did not have any clients waiting, the office/clinic was empty and now I know why. Just dont go there, everyone was rude and no one deserves to be treated like that, especially when they are the ones with hidden fees.

Outstanding above and beyond customer service, ample parking, modern facility and professional examinations. Spacious lobby with many frames to choose from.

As soon as you enter you can see the filthy place, the carpet is disgustingly dirty; Poor customer service.
