Not exactly the friendliest place and kinda pricey considering they get ALL of their merchandise for absolutely FREE! What a concept too bad I didnt think of that but anyway... you can get some ๐ฆ pretty sweet deals on dollar day Thursday just be sure I know the color of the week.
Since this Goodwill opened, I have been a frequent customer. Why- staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Manager is great as I love the coordinating colored items displayed on shelves at the end of each isle. Yes it is clean but its the manager that keeps the store organized. Times have changed and thrift stores are no longer dumpy with cheap prices. I find the prices are fair and I want the employees to receive a fair wage as well, therefore I am willing to pay more. Quality of items is very good. Sometimes it is not possible to donate items in a timely manner but the process takes staff away from duties on the floor so be patient.
Theyre very helpful when you stop by to donate clothes
The selection is SPARSE, prices are close to the cost if new, and many items are heavily used so you wont get much life out of them. The staff seem friendly, and the store is well organized but overall, not worth the trip or money.
Love this Goodwill! Lots of great clothes, shoes-brand names and designer labels. Organized and clean.
The prices are way too high...if youre low income.A used tee shirt should not be $5.00.!!! You could get a new one at walmart for that price. Not all Goodwills are overpriced..poor people expected to pay for their fancy bldg
Went to donate some clothes, and everyone was so nice and friendly.
Manager was rude. They need to appreciate all the customers who are donating their stuff to them. Last time I was there all tags for clothes were $9.99. I walked out immediately, and wont be back. Hello, your stuff is used! I can get brand new clothes for cheaper.
Very clean and excellent service.......thank you guys !...:)
Very clean and organized. I was greeted at the door and told about safety measures and color tag sales. I observed the worker at the door cleaning carts and windows. There were a couple people organizing shelves and no line at the register. The cashier was very nice too
Expensive as heck. The Pricers are now overpricing all items. It is no longer a GOOD WILL for the people on a budget. Save your gas and money and shop at Walmart, Target, etc, instead. The stores price everything as if it is new. Dont believe me, do your own research.
Its a great Goodwill with nice and patient workers, but a lot of the clothes werent labeled or organized by size. I understand is a large Goodwill and Im sure they get plenty of donations, but its disappointing as a bigger sized person when I find clothes I like that I dont know the size of.
Ive visited this store many many times because its very clean, and I find more than what um looking for everytime I go there,๐ค however, since iam a senior citizen I find it problematic to shop and spend money at a business were you cant use their bathrooms, every Goodwill Ive ever shopped in,and I shop Goodwills a lot they have bathrooms for their shoppers, and this isnt right, I asked the store manager about it, and she said that its the owner idea, the young lady that checked me out said that, theyve had people to come in, uses their bathrooms and trash them,I told her that, thats not a good excuse to not let the customers thats spending money with Goodwill, customers should always be able to use the bathroom, especially the elderly, SHAME ON YOU GOODWILL๐, and these reasons I will have to give you a thumbs down.
Clean and friendly but pricey
If you have time, just go there and get some used name brand clothing if you are in a budget. I just discovered this place because I was waiting on my auto service right next to this Goodwill
This is my second time trying to drop off items @ the Norco Goodwill with no success this month. Last time the store had just closed all I saw was a men and a women just standing around. They would not take the items. This time the worker would not take any more items due to they where full. How could they be full. This Goodwill has been close for months. I didnโt see no items at all in the drop off area. Everything looked empty. Worker was just standing around. Very unprofessional. Why do they tell you to drop off between the hrs of 10-6pm but really donโt want to take the ANY items. As I was leaving another customer was trying to drop off 2 little bags and he told her they where full. He suggested throwing your items in the dumpster next to the Goodwill. I canโt believe he would that! It amazing me that during these times people are trying to donate items to the Goodwill and they just donโt want to take your items. Donโt waste your time going there!
Lots of selection, organized and clean, staff is up to date on covid safety practices. No restroom or dressing room access. Friendly, helpful staff. My local go to thrift store.
Prices have doubled since pandemic started..$10 for a used shirt is too much..when other goodwill charge $4-7 bucks. Wont shop here no more
Worst place for donations!...Ive called at least 8 times today to try and make donations only to be told that their container wasnt there to keep trying every 30 to 1hr to see if there... finally at 2 pm after calling since 1030 the girl answers to say o ya its here but we r already at compacity...sorry....well now I will b throwing all of these clothes and shoes away when they could have gone to someone. You guys are the worse!
Pizza..pizza cost more money..money$Good good tho
Too many overpriced items for things that are mostly donated. And a lot of the items are VERY dirty... but have brand new shelf tags. They have the nerve to sell a tremendous amount of glassware...but they dont even have the proper paper to wrap it after purchasing. You are better of purchasing your items brand new... or just simply elsewhere. Oh and management could use a few lessons regarding customer related issues. I will NEVER shop here again, or any GOODWILL for that matter...your price gouging is beyond ridiculous.
Not enough people to take in items. The woman who washelping me, was really frazzled.
They have lots of good finds, but they have gotten rather pricey these days.
A big and very clean thrift store.
Goodwill is non-profit. Goodwillยฎ is a nonprofit organization that exists for one purpose: to eliminate barriers to opportunity and help people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work. ... Every 33 seconds of every business day, someone gets a job withย Goodwillsย help.anyone can get a job here. Apply online. Also works with groups and organizations to donate money
Its usually really good but not much to choose from.....lots of clothes
While at this Goodwill today I tried on several clothes in the dressing room. One dress I tried on had a design that required that it go over my head. When I pulled it on the price ticket, which was attached to the dresss label, (a bad place) pulled off. The ticket was white and the dress was on sale. When I left the dressing room I IMMEDIATELY went to the dressing room employee, whom I had previously spoken to, and produced the white ticket. I told her what happened. At her request I went back in the dressing room and obtained the clear plastic ticket attachment as further evidence that the ticket had pulled off. In addition, I showed her a similar dress I was purchasing that also had a white ticket attached. She took all of the above in the backroom to a manager. The employee returned and stated that because the white tickets were sales tickets on this day, and basically that people try to change tickets to steal, that her manager did not believe me about the tag pulling off. (In other words I was being called a thief!) The employee then stated she vouched for me, telling her manager she could tell that I was not lying. She said because of this her manager was honoring the discount. When I got up to the check out line with my 5 items, 3 at normal price, and the two dresses on sale, I noticed that the WHITE tag I had given the employee had been REPLACED with a green FULL PRICE TAG on the dress I had shown the employee!I took the dress back to the dressing room employee and she returned to her manager. After a while she came back out to me and stated she had misunderstood. Because it was policy not to accept pulled tags her manager was going to charge me FULL price for the dress, about a $4 difference. Also, the dress would not go on sale for at least 4 weeks, if it was even still in the store. I told her Just keep the dress. I did not appreciate being treated as a liar! I told about the dress in good faith! So bottom line: I did the RIGHT thing and this store treated me with disrespect and as a criminal. To the people in charge of this store I offer some advice: Policy is one thing BUT common sense is another. Have the intelligence to know the difference! If a customers comes to you, to bring something to your attention, they are not trying to steal! In the past I have spent a great deal of money in your store. You just lost a loyal customer over $4.
Horrendous donation process. If you dont arrive between 10am and noon, they probably wont let you donate. Even then, its a shot in the dark if they have the bins out. This place cannot be relied upon.
Bouncers required a specific kind of mask. No good.
Overpriced to say the least.Shoes should NEVER be $160- at the Goodwill. Even if they are brand new in a box!
Visit often, however prices are off the chart. this is a Goodwil Prices are above retail prices on many item. I checked! Same exact item at lowes lower then Goodwill?. An employee slipped it one day that there prices were even with online prices. Shouldnt be that competitive on prices at Goodwill, never have been, never should be!Store is nice, clean and most employees are friendly. One female isnt so nice, but hey! Gotta give them a thumbs up!
Very nice clean store!
Dont bother going here, the staff is untrustworthy. You can buy items and they will resell it to other customers, no-one even knows how to run a business here. Dont waste your time! Im definitely reporting this to their corporate office!
The store was ok it didnt really have that great of options for me but Ill give it a 3
Starting to not like Goodwill anymore. They have lost their minds on pricing. I love to help but this is a THRIFT STORE and they should price accordingly. Some prices are higher than brand new. Hit the shops on Holt if you want a deal.
Employees were rude and disrespectful towards me.
Came here looking for an 80s costume. Very well organized thrift store. Thank you for keeping it as clean as possible. Most second hand stores smell awful. This is a great location.
There are a lot of childrens halloween costumes to choose from and some good mask. Prices are reasonable. Wish they had more of a selection for adults.
The worst customer service at the donation door. I pulled up to the door and started unloading my donations, some oriental lady worker saw that I had about 5 bags of clothes and said, thatโs a lot of clothes, they are not going to fit in the baskets. This lady was just being lazy because she didnโt even want me to leave them in the bags, she made me take the clothes out and place them on the over packed baskets. Rude and lazy. Not even a thanks
Of course great prices. Selections could have been better. Nice staff.
I had so much fun here...I was surprised at all of the good stuff. Mostly brand spanking new with original tags.
Goodwill are always good place to find bargain buy you must go deep and spend time on it.I had one hour to fill and I found exactly what I was looking for a nice green skirt and a pair of nice green low heels shoes...
Very clean store..seemed.underataffed with my wait but there were very nice. I found exactly what I was looking for. I have donated items.thee but this was the first time I have shopped. Good experience
Goodwill in norcos is the best
Courtney is the rudest most disrespectful employee at the Norco Goodwill. Her manager is not far behind!
Love goodwill. Find second hand treasures, still in decent condition but downside- most prices are now higher than the new retail prices. Come on goodwill!!!!
Nice clean store but crazy high prices. Some items are marked as high as a retail store. Too bad Goodwill used to be a place to find neat items at good prices.
The store located by the DMV is great the location at 978 Hamner needs some help theres donations all over the outside, your employees could probably use some extra hands to get organized.
They need to have more workers during the weekend when its busier.
It becomes amazing to me that you try to donate to a organization that allows incompetent employees decide for what is donatable and what is not. I have never been turned away from a good will in the many years I have been giving to the community. This employee wanted to pick through the gently used items (even cloths with tags) and decide for what he wanted us to donate. Ridiculous, this is a organization that is well known in the community and if items are being turned away because the employees feel it is not useable to them that is a very sad way of thinking of others in need that can use these items and would be grateful for these things. The employee had the nerve to tell us he cannot take our items because the owner does is tired of paying the trash bill. Wow ๐ฎ Needless to say we donated these items to another company that was beyond grateful to have these items. Shame on Goodwill, Shame on the employees who support this organization.
Decent thrift store I always find something useful thrre they always provide quality items not juncky stuff
They have a donation process worked out for dealing with the pandemic.
This Goodwill location is BS! I went to this location yesterday. One employee saw me shut the doors. Then told me they are closed come back in two hours?!? It was around 2:30pm in the afternoon. I then went back today around 1pm. Both employee ladys watched me take everything out of my car.I stood there minute or so. Then told me they are not taking any donations?!? Really!?! By the way there was 2 other cars there unloading their donation. The employee Ladys where taking their donation? By the way I live about 5.5 miles away. This is the closest Goodwill to me. All I have to say this location customer service SUCKS! I felt like they could of tooken my stuff. The employee where to lazy to work. Yep! Thanks I wont be coming back here to donate.
Very clean and organized. Customer service was very helpful. Nice variety of collectibles.
Couldโve been more organized in size category, but overall myself and my siblings were able to find many brand name items.
Goodwill branches such as this one do not deserve to be listed under the category of thrift store. For example, $7.99 gets you a 40 year old, outdated textbook on Welding. The low turnover of books is hardly surprising. As for the other items, its hit or miss. This type of price gouging is neither thrifty or characteristic of goodwill to consumers.
Not the best goodwill to shop at. If youre looking for great items go to the Huntington Beach store in Orange County.
They have all kinds of things Im always finding something to buy. The workers are pleasant and helpful prices are great...
They have a wide selection, and while I didnt find the initial thing I was looking for, I did find several other things that fit my needs. Clean and well sorted, even in the evening after a busy day. Service was a little slow, but it seemed to be because they were understaffed.
I believe they need to obtain more shopping carts. I am unable to shop comfortably with just a hand basket
Not a bad place to get donated items but it will cost more charge close to retail on most things salvation army is a bit less for same quality stuff
The place has good things. Most of the people is very nice but this very impolite lady. I think She is the manager as She is always telling people what to do even costumers.
Found my most favorite pair of jeans here!! Everythings neatly organized and fair enough to find what youre looking for, would come back
Really clean location and well organized. Far superior to the Corona location.
Store was extremely clean products were great quality and prices were good!! Definitely recommend going there I will be there often ๐
Usually good deals, but some items can be priced ridiculously high.
Wide isles, great used clothes, household items, nice furniture all at reasonable prices.
This Goodwill is one of the rudest Goodwills to their customers they charge outrageous prices yes a lot of their stuff is new but were going to a thrift store to get thrift store items at thrift store prices and to top it all off they refused to exchange items if you find out that once you get home you overlooked a defect that you didnt know it had come on youre a thrift store youre supposed to be helping people not doing the highway robbery thing I will never shop at this store again to add to this review free after reading other reviews Im not surprised look this store is not a thrift store anymore its not a store for donations theyre all about money theyre all about helping themselves they charge way too high of prices I donated a bunch of tools for my son they refused to give me a receipt stating that I donated tools I was so pissed I mean they dont care and then if you try to go up the chain forget it getting nowhere Ill go to the Salvation Army at least I know what their donations are doing their helping people and what does Goodwill do I wouldnt know because I dont see anything good that theyre doing in my community please everyone shop at the Salvation Army
The customer service is bad. there needs to be more people working here.. nobody is at the register and theres like 2 people to help and when i asked a question the lady sounded kind of rude and with an attitude. we shouldnt have to search for people who work here
I went begging for a pair of shoes cause Im homeless. They didnt care .
Good thrift store generally reasonable prices occasionally things are a bit high-priced
Wrong place
Variety abounds the seeker. Some great clothing prices. Just keep returning for new items.
A great place to find rare things at a cheap price like gameboys, Polaroid cameras, nintendo 64s, and game cubes or if you want you can buy clothes, other electronics and furniture.
One of the better locations. Everything is well organized.
Store is clean people are helpful. But your prices are too high for the kids clothes...
Very friendly staff, amazing movie collection, always finding a good deal when I go in.
They had new bath matts and rugs for great prices
Great goodwill, they have some good options in furniture.
Really nice Goodwill. Pretty big selection. Its a little dusty, though.
Easy drop off, at least someone helps you when needed. At the Diamond bar location help was denied.
Whatever happened to the charitable side of Goodwill Industries? The clothes are way overpriced to suit the budget of less fortunate.
Expensive !!! Its a donation center and the prices are high. $8.49 for a little girls dress, craziness.
Never donate to them again. They are getting picky and greedy.
Messy store. No time tohunt throgh the mess to find anything
There a lot good stuff for sale, and store really clean.
This store is actually really nice and well kept.
Banana chair for 4 bucks, I am happy.
Always clean ..great customer service
The kids in the back are always very nice
I absolutely love this place! Not your average Goodwill thatโs for sure!
The Norco location has reasonable prices.
Otakisan your senpai cant save you now
Friendly, courteous service! Clean store with an array of merchandise.
Very little stuff to buy !!
Over priced items in every department! This store thinks its retail now!! Boooo!!
Very clean nicely put together
Cheap dvds... great customer services
