Since the closing of my beloved Thrift Store City in Portsmouth, I refused to open my heart to another thrift store. Enter Hope House and the magnificent Dee. This store made me believe again! I was on a mission for one thing and one thing only: BOOKS! The selection was phenomenal and the pricing was such a deal that I almost filled a cart with them. Dees personality was so welcoming that I will definitely be back! Thank you for making my first visit so impressive 😊

Great selection / great prices. Well I wasnt going there to buy clothing oh, its nice to know that they were offering 50% off all clothing today.

Definitely have to take time and look through the sections! Aside from that, they’re awesome! I always find what I’m looking for here for awesome prices and the staff is very sweet and helpful. They have discount days on top of they’re low prices and it all for a great cause. Great staff! Great store! Great mission!

I’ve found some amazing deals here over the years. What a great shop. Bought a vintage guitar with a hard case for $35! Their clothing selection is surprisingly great too!

I just moved to the area and I’m not a great thifter but I knew the beat place to get an old school pan would be a thrift store. It was a few that came up on my google search but I heard such great things about hope houses mission. I walked in an immediate fell in love I got my pot and some other awesome items!

I love what this place stands for and that ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ... The atmosphere of this store is wonderful for exploring their treasures. Very clean with friendly employees. Not too large, so easy to browse. They dont over crowd the store and they have great sales that change. Even without the sales, the have great prices and good items!

The staff is super nice, but of course the merchandise is good. Theres a good mix of used and newer stuff, and prices are good even for a thrift store. They do weekly and monthly sales too. Thru have so much stock that they rotate inventory pretty frequently. I go about once a week, and there is always new stuff.

Unique selection is a little closer to a Habitat for Humanity Re-Store than a Goodwill. Not as clothing centric. Pretty good prices and good staff. Its a good store to hit, just dont expect a whole lot of clothing.

I found the most beautiful mirror that was priced for 20.00 but when I got the to register, the cashier informed me that everything with a white tag was only 1.00 so I got my huge mirror for only 1.06 and a donation for charity. I love the work they do for the community.

I love their $1 events! You can find name brand clothes such as Ralph, Columbia, Northface, Nike, WhiteHouseBlackMarket and so on for a decent price in near new condition. The prices are always fair and they always have a sale or discount going on every day.

Small selection but always quality goods. They separate Plus Sizes but never much there.
