50$ Card minimum. Refused to open the tackle side of his shop unless “you wave a whole bunch of cash in my face” he was snarky like everyone else says. That didn’t bother me one bit. The fact that I drove 15min to give this shop a chance AFTER reading his reviews and he wouldn’t even open the tackle side of his shop was what got me. I RARELY play the Active Duty card, but for this one I will. If your active duty go anywhere else. OCEANS EAST has military discount and is worth the drive.

Asking questions of the owner/operator seemed like a inconvenience to him. Answers were snarky and sarcastic. Some of the crappiest customer service I’ve experienced. To describe him as curmudgeonly would be a gross understatement. I made my purchase and will not return.

Would NOT recommend patronizing this shop to anyone. Was looking for tackle recommendations for a new local fishing spot & reel, and the incredibly rude shopkeeper sneered that he wouldnt even talk about it unless I returned my rod to WalMart and buy from him because otherwise he doesnt get enough out of it. I hate to see superstores drive out small businesses, but every now and again you find one who deserves to be run into the ground.

Dont know what these other reviews are talking about. Old man was kind and cordial. Dont consider the other reviews. Of course you can get things cheaper elsewhere this is a small business. Yes he does use sarcasm, dont take it so hard. The man I met(didnt catch his name sadly) reminds me of that old grandpa we all know. Ornrey as hell but hell help you out if you come with respect. Ask questions hell answer, you may not like the way he answers but as long as the question is answered who cares about a bit of fun or ridicule out my expense. Love this shop, will keep going back. Prices are fair and the knowledge is great.

Trash place. Shop looks like a hoarders house. Owner is rude and doesnt know anything about guns or fishing. Wont be back, wilcox bait and tackle is way better.
