Store had lots of empty shelves, cashier did not have uniform on, no name tag or anything . He seemed to have ear buds in listening to music not paying much attention to the customers . I came In looking for a comb but the entire wall was empty . Literally only 1 hanging out of about 20 pegs . I understand how busy Saturday’s can be in there as I work in retail myself but I did not see anyone working to re stock the shelves at all

Great deals for summer and a well kept store. This Dollar General has the friendliest staff, especially Sabrinia she went above and beyond for me and my family. Her kindness turned the entire vacation around.

This location has limited stock and at times only accept cash as a payment option. The staff aren’t attentive or as helpful. They don’t acknowledge that you have even walked through the door. Furthermore, the store is not as clean or organized.I was disappointed in the lack of selection and poor customer service. It almost appears to be going out of business because I saw very few people going in and out. I would definitely not recommend.

Store isnt very organized always stuff in the aisles on organized usually kind of messy never anybody working on the register always a long line in this store thats where they did improvement work on the line customer service is good depending on whos working still shop here but wish they would improve only stopping when nobody else is here that way you can get what you need and get out hope you all improve keep up the good work looking forward to the improvements

This store is so unorganized it truly makes me appreciate the one I normally go to. It is so hard to walk down the aisles because the restocking carts are in the way. Shelves are not stocked and the store is just a complete mess.

Shelves are half empty. Only looks like one employee working. Supply carts for restocking are everywhere and blocking isles. The worst Dollar General I have ever been in. I would give zero stars. Need to hire better management.

Understaffed, unorganized and unprofessional; however, understandable. Dollar General - Ocean View- is in a great spot in between Harris Teater and a restaurant. This location is always busy and constantly booming with traffic. This store must be matched with the area. It needs more people and people who will work and uplift the name it once was.

Nearly half of shelves and aisles are always empty everytime I visit! A lot of supply carts were remaining in every aisle which was struggling to get through. This stores emergency evacuation plan doesnt meet the regulations and standards. These issues need to be resolved and addressed immediately.

This has to be the worst DG I have ever been in. Theres always product in the aisle om carts and NEVER really on the shelves. The staff doesnt greet people into the store or when checking out. When the staff does have conversation with the public the F bomb and N word was thrown out more than once while my kids were with me in the store. This will be my last visit to this location.

The staff was very nice and the building was not looking like it was over flowing with stuff all in the lanes and stuff, very clean and organized!

I stop here on my way home from work to grab a half gallon of milk there was like 10 people in line no one to be seen to ring up customer I was in a hurry so I called out hello anyone working the cash register a lady came out of the office talking on her cell a other young man comes up from on the floor starts ring ppl up while she still on the phone so I spoke up between her laughing and said are you kidding me right now so she tells whoever on the phone she has a line shell call them back then states she dont know why everyone has to come there to shop

This Dollar General is located on the east of the building or to the Right of Harris Teeter. Good store and nice employees. The manager works hard to keep this place looking good. Vary busy most of the time as well.

Armed security officer was busy letting the employees know how good he was at fist fights while a woman was climbing on top of the pet food shelf. Store was a mess.

Not clean enough, VERY CLUTTERED.. Employees always yelling to each other throughout the store, smh & I hate the alarm remover!!! It barely works!! I stood at the cash register for almost 15 minutes waiting for 3 or 4 ALARMS to be removed from 1 item!!!! I was so irritated & the poor man looked like his hand was hurting so bad! Please get them a new one!!

Ghetto around the outside. Homeless will approach you. But never had any true issues. Clean inside and well kept food is kept well and items in good shape.

Cashier was very out going and friendly. Many shelves were out of product.

Its always too cluttered. There are too many displays just placed here and there. The shelves are often empty. Its just messy. The staff is helpful.

Needs more staffing, unorganized and messy!

Its pretty decent. My only complaint is they run out of some food items fairly quickly, but thats probably due to the fact that theres no open grocery store in the shopping center as of yet (Harris Teeter will open soon) so for now, everyone goes to Dollar General to pick from the relatively small supply of dairy and meat products.

Whether you need oil for your car, cleaning stuff for the house, mascara, whatever, Im a Dollar General fan. Its not a roomy store, but its full of things you need and even things you wouldnt expect to find at a discount store. The app has great coupons, too.

This particular store, the only one to serve literally an entire community, is always in disarray. The staff is usually pretty friendly, but they do seem to be short staffed often. The store usually has a few ailes you can barely get down and they seem to always have open boxes all over the store. The line is usually pretty long and a quick trip to the store becomes lengthy while you wait for one person at the register to ring up all ten people in line. There are cleaner, more organized stores in town, however most of that community cant get to those. And this store seems to know that people will come anyway...despite the flaws.

Small, crowded store. It seems there are always carts of inventory in the aisles. It is a handy place to pick up milk and bread though and the staff are friendly.

They always have what Im looking for at that particular time...customer service is...good enough..lol. Its not rowdy. Its kind of cramped in the isles is the main negative. They could use a bigger space.

The Dollar General at Oceanview Blvd is the worst Ive been in. The store is literally poorly stocked. Shelves are always empty more than half inventory and thats each and every time I go there. Shelves are full of dust and the store is always in disarray. Maybe new management is needed.

They barely have anything on the shelf. The products are always in boxes or on a pallet.

Nice staff, and a good place for quick shopping. Since Farm Fresh left this has been a grocery store for many on OV. Due to that a lot of things are at a low supply from time to time.
