Yesss Norfolk come through with this huge and organized bookstore with its focus being that of elevating the black/african mind. Maria was very nice. Glad to know there are more sisters with the same community building mindset near. Oh there are plenty of fashionable items plus beauty care too.

Love this place!! It has gently used and new toys for your kids. This place also has a great collection of stones crystals if youre into your rock collection I guess if you want to call it that I bought a tiger that I and my girlfriend bought and Amethyst necklace and some other type of it was a very beautiful but outside of that the cashier she was great she assisted US helped us with everything that we needed and I will recommend this place if you would like to stop in and get toys and or stone and a couple other things those are the things that I would like what I was looking for toys and saw the stones

Great collection of unique works for African American Conciousness. Very helpful staff person. She helped us navigate to just what we needed. Store is nicely arranged. Wish i could have stayed longer to look at everything.

Awesome set up! Very comprehensive !However, ill Never recommend it or Visit again. Id rather buy my art and supplies online, than to come here again!!I was in the shop for an least 10 mins. No one greeted, acknowledged, or even looked at me. That being said, customer service is VERY lacking... Theres No need to spend my money in a place that cant even speak. What a shame....

#1 spot in the 757 for African crafts, books gifts for any occasion that you will not see anywhere else. Dont sleep on the skin care products like raw shea for skin and natural deoranta and oils for skin and amazing scented soaps and healing stones. That store has more than I could ever name but the trip to this store will be well worth it. Dont forget the toy store next door is the only toy store left in the area....perhaps the city maybe. The staff is the best staff in the mall and very knowledgeable and helpful.

Wounderful soap and incense. I enjoy original goats milk that cannot be duplicated and non pork incense like Walmart. Great love from caring people

A great place to buy books and African attire! Also check out the novel Dead Man Standing written by the Author(( Voll Greene)) you can find it in the African Arts Bookstore or even Amazon and Kindle ....you would not regret it!

Glad to see cultural stores like this exist and they had a pretty nice inventory but you will spend more because its not a chain store.
