This shop is beautiful. The staff member that assisted us was Megan. She was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience so awesome! My team did a Candle Making workshop. The scents were amazing. It was hard to choose between all the choices. It was a lot of fun and we were all pleased with how the candles turned out. There were some great items in the store too. I ended up getting body lotion that is creamy and made my skin soft. I cant wait to try the soap I got. Definitely go if you are looking for something fun to do in the Norfolk area. You wont leave with just one item!

Love, love, love the candles! I burn one every night while eating dinner and it absolutely just completes the vibe. I love their philosophy regarding clean ingredients being in their products and all the scents I have tried are amazing! I have ordered several candles from sugar and grace and I am in love with how they smell. They really light up the room and they burn forever! I love the personal sayings on the candles, everyone always gives me compliments on how good my house smells. I can’t wait to shop again!

I had stopped by out of pure wonder for how cute the store looked. I thought it would be great to have my going away party at a candle making shop. The attendant greeted me when I came in but from that point on I had to drag any information out of her about the shop myself. I asked about the store hoping she would elaborate and give me details and she was rather dismissive which was forcing me to try to ask more questions to get a decent tour. I was the only person in the shop with her at the time. It ruined my first impression and I eventually just left after getting the feeling of not being wanted.

My mother and I visited 2/20 . Very cute space and although we were not greeted or asked if we needed help the staff seemed okay . We were very excited to visit as we heard so many great reviews . We purchased 4 candles at around 24.00 and a body butter for 18.I absolutely love the body butter very smooth and smells great, however the candles left us HIGHLY disappointed. They do smell wonderful at purchase but once burned there is no smell at all . I purchased cuddle weather, Barack and Michelle and two between the sheets . I have a one bedroom apartment lit all four and smell nothing . Over the next couple days I just gave up and used them for decoration . Will visit again for other items but not candles

I absolutely LOVE my candles from Sugar & Grace! The Strength of a Woman is my favorite! I buy multiples of them everytime I purchase. I also got a Strength of a Woman Body Butter this last time I shopped there. It smells soooooo good, just like the candle. A little goes a long way and my hubby loves the scent on me as well! I cant wait to go restock. Great vibe, great staff, awesome scents!

After seeing these non toxic candles on GMA I decided to give it a shot. I purchased a few other items also. Between the Sheets, My Boyfriends Tshirt candles, a room spray and melts. Well..........not only does my home smell AMAZING! BUT my boyfriend has actually confiscated the room spray for his office and told me I need to go get another one myself! Heres to supporting another small black owned business with quality products.

I was happy to support this black owned business when I saw their candles on GMA! My order arrived in a timely fashion considering the delays USPS have been experiencing because of the pandemic and snow storms. The candles smell amazing and I will be purchasing more.

I have been on the hunt for a non-toxic candle for a while now and I came across Sugar & Grace Co. on Instagram. I ended up ordering the Between the Sheets candle based on other customer reviews and its popularity. I was a little hesitant purchasing this candle online without smelling it in the store but I absolutely love it! From its darling packaging, to the smell, to the burn time. This candle is beyond luxurious.

I have purchased from Sugar & Grace multiple times and I’m so in love!! I always have to stock up on Strength of a Woman and Shades of Beauty which are my favorite candles!!! They also have a DIY flower bouquet station in store which i’m obsessed with. Erica & staff are always super nice and helpful. Will continue to come back again & again :)

Purchased candles from Sugar & Grace Co. during the Feb 3, 2021 GMA promotion. Received a shipping confirmation on Feb 6, 2021 but I have not received my order. I have sent several emails inquiring about my order and the response was there is probably a delay. It is now 2/22/21 and to date I still have not received the order. After sending several emails, the responses I have gotten is making it so that I need to contact the USPS and track down my order, which is unacceptable. There has been ample time that someone from the company should have reached out to me to follow up. This is unaccepatable service and I expect a call or an email to come to some type of resolution. The USPS tracking showed that it had not been shipped. Again I expect someone to followup with me on this . If this cannot be resolved in a timely manner as i8n asap I will expect to get a full refund.

I made a risky move and ordered candles online without smelling them first, it paid off! These candles smell delicious. I also had a really pleasant customer service experience. I will be buying these candles for all of my friends and family.

As previous reviews have stated I ordered candles during the GMA promotion at the beginning of February. I received a shipping notice about a week later and the order has been in pre-shipment ever since. I have reached out to the store twice only to be told that all the orders had been taken to USPS and they werent being scanned in because there were too many. This is a huge disappointment as I felt good about supporting a small business. Ive given up on ever receiving this order.

Too little too late, because she lost me as a customer & missed Valentines Day. I will be returning my order. Shipping mistakes are okay, but non-apologetic, rude small business owners are not!

My mom and sister came to visit and we wanted to spend the day doing something fun. Id seen Sugar & Grace on my Insta and thought this would make for the perfect girls day. We had THE best time making candles with Erica. We arrived, chose our vessels and scents and got to blending. Erica was so helpful when we were trying to come up with the perfect combo. I ended up mixing Sriracha Orange with Teakwood. It is the most unique candle and Im OBSESSED. It is sweet and spicy and totally one-of-a-kind. Erica said she comes up with oils on an almost weekly basis so each time you come theres something new. She was a wonderful host and Ill definitely be back. This is hands down one of the best experiences in Hampton Roads.

A customer lost for sure. I made my order February 3 thinking oh this will be a gift for Galentines. Yeah, NO!!! This is past disappointing. I don’t need nor want the candles.

Had such great time making a candle with my hubby. The associates were all super nice and helpful. The store is absolutely beautiful and they have a lot of cute things for sale too. Would definitely recommend coming and making your own special candle.
