Bob was amazing!! I went in today to get my phone looked at it because I broke the screen and it wouldn’t turn on. Bob was a great help! He showed me all my options and gave me time to think about what I wanted to do. I ended up getting the iPhone 12 Pro! :) He helped me set it up and helped me pick out 2 cases / screen protector. He also let me know how much I would be paying in advance so nothing was a surprise! I also got 40% the 3 non apple accessories I picked out due to the deal they had going on today (don’t know when it ends!) Bob was super kind and understanding! I definitely recommend this Verizon! :)

I wish I could give them zero stars. Their service was great when it was just me. I went to one of their stores when I lived in Ohio. Sometime in March or April. I added my brother and mom to a family plan. They explained what I was signing and when I went to sign it. There was nothing my to read. Just a screen on a tablet. I had to sign for my brother and mom because I was the main one on the family plan. We were told we doing a month to month payment plan. No contract. The person working there kept saying how he did not want to be there. He gave us three $450 online gift cards. We had to fight for months to get those. We finally got them in July and at that time we had moved to Virginia. We used them on Verizon. We bought two new phones fully paid for and unlocked. We always paid a phone bill and a half. We also had terrible service from the beginning. So we upgraded to their 5g plan. Service got worse when we did. This month we switched to consumer cellular. Now Verizon says that because we spent the gift cards we were under a 12 month contract. Customer service hung up on us because we were arguing with them about how we never agreed to a contract or signed a contract. We went to the store on N Military highway and got told that we couldnt come to their store because we didnt sign up through their store. Pretty much telling us to drive back to Ohio. My mom is disabled and my brother is a minor. We were paying nearly $300 a month for poor service and poor customer service. Now they say we owe them $986.74. We are not paying for this because we never signed a contract for it. Do not sign up with verizon.

Went to the store to get my mom phone fix and the employee by the name Denise was helping and told me I couldnt do what I need on my mom account because I was up there so yea she was doing her job I leave out to add myself to my mom account because I control everything I goes back in and you can see her and her white employee whispering about me because I read lips but also she was on her personal phone while trying to help customers Now I felt like they was begin unprofessional by trying to have me wait out which a wait is no problem I bet it was a surprise when she ask for i.d n I was on that account and I really try not to go in there unless certain employees are working and her or other employees wasnt really please to help me But I guess they was doing they job say what they had to say to get me out

I worked with Denise Burke and she was fabulous. It’s people like her who work long hours and go under appreciated. I showed up as a walk-in after receiving poor advice from a customer service rep over the phone. She spent 1.5 hours exchanging and restoring a new phone for me! In the process, she provided support and empathy for my circumstances. While helping me she continued to help countless customers with issues, always maintaining a professional demeanor. The security staff was also very friendly and kind. During COVID-19 challenges, we are all so reliant on our phones and concerned when they don’t work. Denise approached every customer with empathy.

Its best to make an appointment online in order to avoid waits as there are limitations on how many customers can be in at any given time (due to COVID). Also, if you are interested in a particular phone, its worth making sure its in stock before you arrive.

We go out of our way to this location because the staff have always been courteous and knowledgeable compared with other wireless stores weve dealt with.

On yesterday, I was treated horribly at the military hwy location. One of the associates (Caucasian) was trying to back up my phone and told me it wouldn’t work. After awhile of just sitting there while he’s helping other customers, I told him that I’ll just wait in the car. He then came out to my car and told me to finish the back up at home then gave me his card and said “Just come right up here tomorrow, I’ll be here and I’ll squeeze you in. The next day I went and he acted like he didn’t remember me, then turned to another associate and said “I don’t have time to do a upgrade right?” The lady said no. I was very upset and frustrated. I then went to the location in Va Beach. I was in within 5 mins and the guy had absolutely no problem with backing up my phone. I got my new phone and was out within 30mins.

The Verizon stores here are different than in Tennessee where I moved from recently. First with the whole appointment thing. Then throw in buying a new phone and not having the rep do the switch, but encouraging me to do it at home 🙄. I should get a discount on my service if I have to do it myself, just saying.

A unique situation; the manager listened to and offered a viable solution.I live on the eastern shore where another CDMA carriers service had deteriorated.Before signing up for a mandatory 24 months service, potentially equally poor. A suggestion was made, where I wont lose my original device, on trying out prepaid, until determining its not the locale and the eastern shores sparse service.

Make sure you are able to wear a mask over your whole face or they will harass you until they threaten to remove you from the store. Doesn’t matter if you have a special circumstance or a health condition. I will do everything possible to never walk in this store again. Awful managers running that place. You should care more about how to help your customers than treat them like @#$%.

Had excellent experience and customer service from Juan. He was extremely quick, efficient, and thought outside of the box to resolve an issue with a new phone I purchased online. It is so rare to get such positive customer service these days, so kudos to Juan for all of his help. Feedback was given to store manager Rick (or Rich..sorry about that) and time was taken to listen to it. Great experience at this store and highly recommend going here if you need assistance with your Verizon service!

Courtious and helpful. Learned why Verizon wireless service has become almost unusable on the eastern shore. Verizon disbanded 3G, with sparsely populated and equally sparse cell towers; the automatic fall back onto 3G when 4G wasnt strong, is why theres now an issue.

Very positive experience during my recent visit. I mistakenly brought equipment I bought online to return at the store. Instead of just informing me I needed to mail them for my refund... David went above and beyond by boxing the equipment, labeling it, and taping it shut for me. All I had to do was drop them off at UPS which he also gave me directions to. Thanks David for showing how much you care. No one goes the extra mile anymore, but you sure did!

I lost my phone a couple weeks ago and Deon was SO helpful and fast in getting a replacement for me. I am not the most tech-savvy. Deon logged the new phone in for me and retrieved all of my info! It was nearly painless. I was in and out in no time. I have been a Verizon customer for over a decade and I will continue to be!

Its hard to be a phone sales men. You either hover too hard or completely ignore me once I have questions or am ready to buy. The prices are on the high side with accessories much cheaper online.Verizons plans are a premium but that doesnt say anything about this location.You wont be blown away by the service but its what you expect when buying a car or phone.

Everything is wonderful at this location except the wait time. Wish they just had someone for quick in and outs. I went up to show my recent paystub to continue my workplace discount and still had to sign in and wait my turn. Sometimes it feels like it takes forever! I guess the sign-in guy saw me fidgeting and decided that he could help me himself ... VERY thankful for that! Thank you sign-in guy for not making me waste my whole morning!

After waiting for 1 hour for a Sales rep to assist, Corrinne, approached me unpleasantly and asked if I knew what I want. After communicating my preference she told me that they didnt have it and started walking me out the door without answering my questions. Clearly, she was ready to leave but so was I after waiting for 1 hour. Long story short, I dont have the phone and am aggravated. Everyone else was nice, but do not buy from her.

This Verizon retailer can be helpful if you dont take too much of their time asking questions. It seems to me that they are eager to help if you accept their advice. My last visit was both positive and negative. Yes, they did help me with my phone problem. No, I dont think they wanted to hear questions about different models that I was interested in purchasing in the near future. Some customers just buy based on recommendations. I dont. If I am to spend hundreds of dollars on a phone I want time to review all options.

Do you really want to know? Not good!! I would like to speak to customer service to see if it is my job to research which phone I want and its capabilities. The employee offered no help in helping with the decision making, he kept telling me to do my homework and that it was my responsibility to now what I wanted. Im almost 70 yrs old and am not real computer savvy. I just wanted him to guide me in the different phones. Should I go android or iphone? I guess Im going to go check out AT&T. Ive been with Verizon since it was Altell. Verizon treats thier new customers better than thier loyal, long time customers. Another loyal customer bites the dust. Took iPhone 5s in to the Norfolk Janaf location for glitch issues and was told dryly, get a new phone. Zero help and didnt seem to even care. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for years. Went to the hilltop, Virginia Beach location and they were extremely helpful. I am amazed at the difference in service between these two locations.

Staff is professional however quick to push the latest flagship Samsungs when you upgrade. Not really a knock but I dont want Samsung:). Helpful and attentive. Have cushion seats to wait, of which you usually do. Have solved or helped with everything Ive ever needed with phones or service. Overall pleasant experiences.

Originally I went to the Verizon store on East Little Creek, but when I asked the sales person for help he seemed very lost and confused and said a new SIM would be $30. So I went to the Verizon HQ store on Military Circle and was helped instantly with no cost. 10/10 recommend

Camile helped me jump into the new age world of smartphones. She transfered my info and changed our plan a bit to our benefit and was courteous and polite and sooo knowledgeable. Had problems with my old phone; went to this store and the sales and tech people went above and beyond to make sure the transition to my new phone went without a hitch - all my pix, texted pix rcvd from my family (priceless of my Grandson) were quickly moved via BlueTooth. (This was after I had been looking at replacement phones at the big box stores and was told that due to the age of the old phone, the embedded pix would not be able to be transferred). Im a very happy Grandpa thanks to Verizons JANAF store - well done and many thanks !
