My partner works midnight so we stopped in right as they opened. Really quick and polite. The coffee is really smooth and not bitter at all. I got the salted caramel latte on ice while he got lemonade. The pastries are good too!

I love Equinox and am there at least once a week. The staff is friendly, and the Horchata latte is my all time favorite. A nice atmosphere and delicious coffee - highly recommend!!

Hours are wrong. Just drove across town to come here because it says open from 7-3, but they are closed at 1:39. Wish I would have known that before driving over here. It even says the 7-3 time on their door so I am confused on why they are closed. (Will update review if I am able to come back when they are open and if the coffee is good.)

I was stoked to come here for the first time within a month of Equinox opening. This is a solid neighborhood coffee shop within a few blocks walking distance from my house as well as right next to bike lanes. The very location of the spot is a big deal, since a pedestrian and bike friendly city is important to quality of life.The drink options are innovative, intersecting unlikely flavors, and the classic cappuccino I ordered hit the spot. Also ordered a scone which was delicious. I appreciate that there are plant based snacks and drinks served here too.The seating options facing the inside of the shop as well as long tables suggest that community is important.Park Place is a fantastic neighborhood that values diversity, inclusivity, and and I’m pleased to see that reflected in the coffee shop!Hoping to see the outdoor space shared with Cagney’s used as a patio in the summer rather than a parking lot.I highly recommend enjoying this coffee shop and bring some friends. 4/5 because there’s always room to grow!

Not held to its standards. The home site states that they strives to maintain a conscious vision of the interconnectedness of humanity in everything we do.This was not the case today with our visit. One of the workers were wearing an extremely disturbing shirt and blew it off like this was a common thing. As a father of three small children who can read, I cannot support a place that allows clothing like this. When I attempted to call and just talk to someone about it the phone was never answered. This is one of my wifes go to coffee spots and we will not continue to support a local shop if the standards they say are not kept. Below is the shirt the worker was wearing.

Very basic coffee shop that serves bland tasting coffee. the barista assisting me described nothing and didnt even bother to ask how I would like my drink to be prepared. He just assumed I wanted a hot cup of coffee on a 90 degree day, so I could sweat out the toxins that they just gave me. To anyone who is looking for a great tasting COLD LATTE, please drive the extra 5 minutes to go to cold pressed on Colley ave.

I got the Horchata Cold Brew and it was DELICIOUS! I also love that they have used books for sale! If I werent in a rush I could have looked forever, they had some good ones!

This place is one of my favorite coffee spots in Norfolk. They have a short list of delicious and creative lattes and they almost always have amazing vegan (and sometimes non vegan) baked goods. Not mention the baristas are top notch and super friendly. Never too crowded and has some outdoor tables. Usually some local art is for sale on the walls too!

Very cute coffee shop with a decent range of options. They make all their own syrups in house and 9 times out of ten all the baked goods they sell are vegan friendly. They have a few different kinds of milk options as well! They offer quality coffee at a fair price and I really enjoy the atmosphere and the wonderful staff.

Comfortable, Large Space but with lots of Feels! Parking was easy just don’t park across the street after 9am every second Tuesday 🤪 my friend said to eat a pop tart as it will change my life! And it was the most delectable and flavorful danish type pop tart that I have EVER experienced! So yeah she was right....now I’ll tell you that it was Vegan! I would have NEVER had thought possible. My Caramel Latte was some of the best tasting coffee I had in a VERY long time. Don’t know the beans that they used for this cup but damn was it smooth!! Gentlemen taking the orders and making our food and drinks was very calm and kind. With one customer after the other he stayed active but paced perfectly. THEN I tried my friend’s toasted sesame seed bagel with the yummiest Pimento Cheese!!! Like WHOA!! Alright my other “go to” coffee spots....LOOK OUT for Equinox Coffee Co!They got it Goin On!!

Decent coffee, but the menu was complex and limited in certain areas, which was somewhat off putting and there was only 1 size offered. No labels on food items or any sign for allergens. Limted outdoor seating and odd parking options. Staff was pretty friendly which was good. Outside area needs to be maintained...smelled rather like an ash tray :/

The coffee here is worth the drive all the way from VA Beach. The shop is small and actually reminds me a lot of the small shops we saw a lot overseas in Okinawa but sort of transcending into a calm needed in the everyday. The Mayan Mocha was superb and smooth and the hint of spice and chocolate reminded me the chocolate drinks my Grandma made me when I was a little girl who was born and raised in Mexico.

I had walked past this establishment many times but never went in. I am glad my date chose to slide through. They were very friendly and bubbly. The atmosphere was laid back and the drinks were freshly made and tasted fantastic!

We tried this place twice after our favorite morning spot closed. Not a fan. The coffee was ok at best (black). The guy behind the counter was not a friendly and seemed more interested in talking with his friends. Hoping our favorite coffee shops other location in Ghent opens early. In the meantime, going to Starbucks --- at least the atmosphere and staff are friendly.

As a coffee person, I didnt think Norfolk would be much luck. Well, I was wrong. Ive been around the world trying different coffees, and I had one of the best here at Equinox. (Nicaragua pour over) Proves the point that great coffee can be found anywhere, so long as true coffee pros are behind it!

Quaint new small business. We had a drip coffee and English Breakfast Tea, so a very basic order. It was ready very quickly and the tea came with a pot and a cup. There are also several forms of espresso, more than typical. Some very creative mixes. There is also a wide variety of tea. All the specially drinks are tea are well priced. Only downside is a very small parking lot, but theres plenty of parking on surrounding streets due to lack of businesses in the immediate area, and I hear equinox is working on getting part of a paved lot across the street. Highly recommend for everyone to check it out

It was a cute little corner store that served a great cup of coffee. I let the barrister make my drink and he did a great job; it was tasty and the foam was good too! My daughter had the matcha and it was great to her too! The only thing I would suggest is more pastries to choose from......

Came here for the first time on Saturday and its going to become my new go to place. Very welcoming inside with a great staff (thanks for the chocolate milk for my 4 year old), live plants, friendly patrons and last but not least, GREAT coffee.

Equinox is such a dope little coffee spot with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for being productive; furthermore, I met up with a friend to do some leisure writing, and Im glad we picked this place.Heidi was exceptional in helping my friend and I navigate their menu and decide what we wanted to snack and sip on while we did our writing. Im not usually a hot coffee drinker, but the Bonfire Latte was exquisite. The mocha and activated charcoal in it created a cookies and cream flavor profile which was to die for. I was also quite fond of their egg soufflé pastry and homeade poptart; both were delicious and light, yet filling.All in all, I cant wait to come back here and enjoy the atmosphere and fare at Equinox when I need to be productive again.

Damn delicious coffee with inventive foods and good vibes. I was skeptical about the curried tempeh salad but it absolutely satisfied, cortado and pourover was on point, and my honey lemon eucalyptus tea was delicious and soothing (highly recommend if you have a sore throat). Would absolutely go back.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Bringing sustainably farmed, organic and fairly traded coffees, teas, and fresh pastries. My favorite latte is with cardamon (cardamum, cardamom.. whatever..lol... ITS DELICIOUS!!!) and my cinnamon & apple muffin was moist and full of flavor. Great spot with spectator seating & smooth jamaican beats softly filling the room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
