Rude owners. In town on business, thought I would check out the local shops and see what small businesses I could support. Both owners present, on personal phone calls entire time, rude when I asked a question. I clearly was bothering them by being there.

BEWARE! Unless you like nasty hangovers check the expiration dates on the beer. Most of the more expensive beers are way past their expiration date. Went there last night and found most of their craft beers had expired four months ago. Literally all the craft beer on sale was only on sale because it was expired. Very disappointing as they do have a great selection of beer, but they just dont care enough about their inventory.

This place is actually more expensive than 707 but I go here for Ricky(the owner), hes the best!

The only time I have ever encountered them is when I rented two keg taps (25 dollars a piece). I was in charge of an organization having a bard dance (100 + people) in Champaign-Urbana. When I get to Champaign the keg taps didnt work. Both were duds (50 fraternity men couldnt get them to work). After an hour of trying we had to drive to UofI to get another keg tap. When I returned to University Liquors and told them my misfortunes they did not care and offered nothing more than a grunt of acknowledgement.Point of the Story: University Liquors does not clean or maintain their equipment. Do not get kegs here! I would say its a fine store to go to for a 6 pack but beyond that just go to 707 or Budget Liquors.
