My friend and I like to do brunch and bookstore dates, and we usually go here! We love walking around looking at (and smelling 😂) books!

If you enjoy books well this is the place to go! The world of Amazon has indeed limited the amount of time I come to the store considering I read most of my books on my kindle nowadays but I like to stop in ever once in awhile. They have any book you can imagine from fantasy to cook books and everything in between. If you are looking for a physical copy of a book they most likely have it. They also have collectibles and toys which is nice to browse but most of them are overpriced and cheaper online. The Starbucks is an added bonus. It is nice to grab a coffee and sit down with a good book or do some homework away from home. The staff is always very nice and helpful!

Barnes and Noble have steeped up their game. This is a great family place. Something for everyone. Great coffee shop, comfortable quiet corners to preview your selections, toys, gifts, electronics...all sorts of goodies. The Prices are a little higher, but its worth for the value the store puts in.

Cringey woke books for kids as far as the eye can see in the children’s section. When I was a kid there were normal books about, you know, kids stuff. Not anymore. It’s all indoctrination into either victim hood or perpetual guilt for things you haven’t done. I won’t expose my kids to that

Needed a magazine I saw online. I called the B&N on May in OKC...not only could I barely hear the bookseller who answered the phone, but he seemed to not know what I was talking about and finally said that they didnt carry it. I then called the B&N in Norman...a pleasant person answered, was put on hold briefly to check to see if they had the magazine I was looking for, and said they had it. We went to purchase the magazine in Norman and the bookstore was tidy, well laid out, bright and inviting. Will be back!

With all the bookstore is disappearing… Very sad… I’m happy to say that this one is still thriving and supporting the community

This is a very inviting place. They have a wide selection of books stemming from fact and fiction, magazines, occult, romance, you name it they have it. It is Barnes and Noble after all. They also sell toys, music, activities, etc. They have a whole section of the store just for kids with a play area and a little stage for pretending. They have a Starbucks coffee in the middle of their store which serves up, well, whatever Starbucks has on their menu. They currently do not have seating outside of their children and Starbucks areas, so dont come looking to sit and read during Covid. Quiet, clean, and friendly staff.

I got a good deal on some books for my 2 year old here. It was in the bargain books. The Trix cookie from the bakery was yummy.Also if you are looking for some manga this place has alot ! I love how they display them as well. I can find out about new manga just by going here.

Clean, lots of variety, everything has a place so its easy to find. Kinda magical in there if you love books/comics/magazines. Theres toys and cool knick knacks and such in there, will definitely love to visit more often!

Extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered an item online for store pickup and realized it was the wrong item when I got to the car. They searched and found it even though it was showing out of stock. It was a birthday present for my daughter that night and no one else had it in. I appreciate them so much!🤗💙💛

Still a good place to relax and grab some good books. I remember when this shopping area was still new and full of great shops and people. Now, however, the area is not as popular nor is it as nice. The B&N store doesnt even have a storefront sign, at least not that I could see. Its still a good little store but I do miss the way it was about 10 years ago.

It is wonderful. This is my husbands favorite place to get the most exclusives on certain collectible items and i love the book selection. All in all its the best!!!!

This place is really Nice and Beautiful for book lovers .They have got special section for kids too.Well arranged books with categorical classfication.Little room for Vinyl records too.Good place to read books and buy along with a hot cup of starbucks

This branch of Barnes and Noble was great! The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a great selection of books to choose from. Everything was clean and organized in a way that was easy to navigate through. 👍😁

Always a lot of fun. We see the trains, get some coffee and then look to see if there are any neat toys. Being in a bookstore, with its sights, sounds and smells, just make you feel at ease. Sometimes, we even buy a book. 📚

Didn’t find any of what I was looking for to complete recent series releases, so I settled for even newer covers. The new layout of the bookshelves is confusing and cramped, which left me circling shelves multiple times to be sure that I didn’t miss what I was looking for.However, 50% off certain titles was going on so I did leave with a few books.

I usually enjoy going into Barnes and Noble but I will be avoiding them for awhile. I went in there the other day to get something from the Cafe and the lady rudely emphasized about the companies policies on masks. I was hungry and didnt have time to go anywhere else. Youre not supposed to argue with anyone on wearing a mask. Just take their order and let them be on their way! My trip turned from about 5 minutes to 10 or 15, cause she felt she needed to waist time on emphasizing that unneccesary information.

I love books therefore I love Barnes & Noble...nuff said...I couldnt find any of my current authors that I dont have already so I bought the biddy booksOne for me & one for hubby(we all already know who gets the biddy books...ahem---->me of course !!)

Worst customer service. Argued with me about how I needed to wear a mask, policy, yada yada yada, the whole time while looking up a book I needed. Just a quick reminder, every single mask Ive seen has non medical on package. Not only are mask 😷 a joke, your policy is a joke. Especially, since policy is only inforced on certain days and or certain times, as well as, certain locations.

Ive always loved Barnes and Noble. This particular location has a small true crime section compared to the location I grew up going to, but I was still able to find some good Horror Fiction books. Very nice staff.

Great bookstore with a huge selection, spaced out enough that you dont feel claustrophobic, and has a tasty little cafe. Definitely a must when in town!

One of my favorite places to be. Well kept and organized store. Friendly staff, thay are always willing to help customers find whatever they are in search of.

Interviewed here one time, and both managers were very proud to let me know they were WALMART ALL STAR MANAGERS at their previous job. They proceeded to ask me a series of basic questions, then told me I was overdressed (I was wearing slacks and a button up.)This Barnes and noble does not care about books, they just care about hiring teenage help (mostly girls) who are too meek to complain and will accept instructions without talking back. Their books are overpriced compared to somewhere like half price books, and they mostly have notebooks and funko pops as opposed to books. Literally their only use is as a newsstand, because no one else sells magazines these days, and I’m sure they’ll stop soon enough

This place is so cool! Took my daughter there to pick out her favorite manga. They had a giant selection.

Everyone here is so helpful. They never seem to be annoyed when you ask for help.

The crafts section was spartan. If you dont cook or knit. You were hard pressed to locate anything.

A good bookstore/newsstand is becoming harder to find in this digital age, so thank God for the Barnes and Noble in south Norman! Ive been meaning to stop by during my trips to OKC and finally got the chance last Tuesday morning. There werent many customers but there were shoppers present for books and/or a coffee from the in-store cafe. Im always looking for magazines to inspire and inform in my crafting and cooking areas of interest but I never can find them. Sadly, all of the bookstores within an hours drive have closed their doors. I only found half of what I was looking for here but I am so happy for what they did have, and this made it worth all worth the effort. It was a pleasure just to be in a bookstore again. The minimal staff was pleasant and aroma of fresh espresso was icing on the cake as I left with my happy purchases, and I can promise many return visits in the months to come. 🙂

😷 masks requested at this time. But the atmosphere, the staff, and the selection are still superior! I added several new books to my library.

Loved it found stuff and books i wanted had to pay a bit more than on Amazon but at least it didnt get lost.

Barnes and Noble never disappoints. Such an amazing book store with a wide selection and the scent of coffee wafting over you as you browse.

Really friendly staff and was able to help me find what I was looking for. Now its just the waiting game for the items that they didnt have at the time. But they have been good to me in that respect so far.

Great selection of books and games in a decent sized store. Much smaller store than I am used to seeing. They do have a Starbucks in the middle of the store. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of books on sale. I was able to find what I was looking for at a good price. They have a pretty good sized kids book section. Comfortable and quiet store. It was great to spend over an hour there.

Look, I buy most of my books and such off Amazon like everyone else. However, Im still glad weve got a Barnes and Noble in Norman for when you just feel like walking through a bookstore and getting that book store feeling. There are plenty of great local bookstores around too, so check those out, but for a Barnes and Noble this place is clean, well organized, has great variety (including board games and such), and is usually staffed with very nice people.

Barnes and Noble seems to be struggling in the days of Amazon which is definitely taking over the book world. Amazon is able to be profitable at a much lower price on books than Brick and Mortar stores. That being said, Barnes and Noble is beginning to offer many B&N exclusive novels at very reasonable prices. Poe, Sherlock Holmes, and many other compiled editions that youll only find here. Great store for reference material as well!

Always loved Barnes. It is just my Happy Place. Was very grateful to the person who tried to help me with a title of a book which I didnt remember at all correctly. I spend an hour when I say I will only be a minute.

Love a book store. We were greeted quickly and the was always someone close to assist. There are several seating areas and a Starbucks located inside with more seating. The childrens area is welcoming for all ages. There are several areas for kids to kick back and enjoy. It smells heavenly and the atmosphere is calming and inviting.

I love Barnes & Noble they need to expand when they have the chance. I would love to shop there more often but with the closest locations being over an hours drive its just not possible. I recommend everyone to shop with them.

I picked up a book curbside in norman today....the person who brought my book wore no mask or gloves and did not put the book in a sack. he said he was no contact so he did not have to wear protection. i disagree with that statement...you should have more respect for your customers

Salsa is good but was a little on the spicy side. Overall food was good but service was unusually poor. I realize it was Saturday night and they were busy but we had to ask for silverware and then ask for napkins. Otherwise we usually have a very pleasant experience there
