I love that this place supports local non-profits AND serves a delicious caramel latte. The barista had a great, friendly attitude, showing she enjoyed her job, and made some pretty foam art in our drinks. My friend had the chai tea latte, her first latte ever, and liked it so much she ordered another.

Why aren’t you open on Saturdays?

I love that this is a nonprofit shop. Its perfect for anything from coffee dates to study nights. Its very quiet and comfortable. And the drinks are amazing!

Great atmosphere. Good latte. The espresso seemed a little weak, could’ve been a small pull. The foam was too airy. A couple of taps on a counter will get those big bubbles out before pouring the milk. Definitely recommend this place, especially with the awesome prices

Ive sat here to study, grade papers, and apply to jobs. Its my favorite coffee shop in Norman, but it is only open during the normal school year. Very neighborly- theres a potluck-style snack table during finals week. Unusual latte flavours available (try the lavender). It seems to me that the engineers particularly use this as a hangout.

Second wind is a cute little coffee house that has a pretty normal menu of coffee and tea based drinks. What really makes this place for me is the people. Ive been here several times now and not once have I been served by a staff member that wasnt genuinely a nice person. Everybody that works here seems to care about the people around them, and thats a refreshing thing. Probably the only Coffee House in recent memory where I tipped more than what my bill was, just because thats how nice the service was.

This is a non profit coffee house. You can pay as little as $0 or as much as $100 as donation. But if you can, you should definitely donate some amount. They also sell local art and earrings.

I had never been to this coffee shop before but thanks to my first visit it will be far from my last! Of course when I did visit it was during a time they had to close early due to weather. Even though they were closing early they were super kind about getting me a cup of coffee! I strongly recommend this place if you live near campus or even if youre just visiting Norman!

Really good coffee and an even better atmosphere. Can get busy and it’s really a toss-up of whether you’ll catch a silent hour with lots studying or a bustle of activity. Only downside is the music - each barista chooses their own and it can get a little too loud/eclectic/repetitive if you come often.

My favorite coffee shop in Norman. Dirty chai is thick and flavorful and the environment is welcoming, with a combination of tables and couches. Payment is by donation with suggested amounts listed on the board for a range of drinks that are less than youd pay at any coffee chain.

Love their coffee, staffed by students, everyone is always so pleasant when I go in. And if you have questions their very helpful and I recommend for anyone wanting an alternative to Starbucks if youre on campus.

Good coffee shop right next to the OU campus. Medium size, not teribly crowded. Prices are on the low end, and they claim to donate all profits to charity. Nice Starbucks alternative.

Service can be a bit slow when theyre backed up, but the excellent community and vibes make waiting a non-issue. They actually have the knowledge to make excellent espresso too, so if youre looking for a Starbucks, this isnt it.

The weirdest thing happened. I was doing standup on a Friday night at this shop which is located in a COLLEGE TOWN. Obviously it wasnt child friendly standup but its a COLLEGE TOWN and the audience was loving it. The management embarrassed me and kicked me off stage because it was inappropriate even though I warned them before hand my standup is inappropriate. MANAGEMENT IS DISRESPECTFUL DONT SUPPORT THIS SHOP AND DO YOUR LOCAL TALENT ELSE WARE. This is also the first google review I have ever written I have never felt so disrespected doing FREE comedy before.

Although the hours are not always ideal, the coffee and beverages are excellent! The fact that the coffeehouse accepts donations instead of listing prices makes it ideal for the college student desperate for a shot of espresso and place to study. You cant beat the comfy couches, friendly volunteer baristas, wifi, and the atmosphere. I hope this place continues to be successful!
