The associate who assisted me, Jennifer, was extremely helpful. I really felt like I was taken care of, she even went through the effort to call customer support to verify some things for me. I was extremely pleased, especially given the rest of the reviews of this location which Im going to guess are partly due to the individual named Cassie. She seemed rude and very short with her answers when Jennifer inquired about a few things while helping me.

Poor communication. I had been satisfied for years until getting recent engagement rings. Was up-sold lab created diamonds without being told they dont hold value, rings promised 3 different dates, fiancee upset, now I am reaching out to corporate, board of directors, Signet Jewelers who owns them, the CEO etc., Promised call back from the manager, got someone else, and I had to call them. THAT person didnt call back and THEN they had a third guy call me back. Spending the WEEK sending certified letters out.
To maintain a rings lifetime warranty you must get inspections every 6 months. Zales has made this very difficult. You now need an appointment and they dont do Sundays. I tried calling 6 times and cant get through to make an appointment. One might call this a scam!
Wanted to do a repair for one of my jewelry and was told I had to do appointment. I wasn’t pleased since weekends are my only days off very inconvenient
Horrible customer service! I saw a lady come out of the store with no mask and as soon as I walked in I wastold I needed a mask. I just got off work and was looking messy but still had a $12k Rolex on my wrist and this rude fat lazy Employee was on her phone and told me I cannot come in without a mask even though that should no longer be an issue. I was very happy to spend my money at the jewellery stand right outside Zales. I will never shop here again and will never recommend any of my customers to this location
Horrible customer service, we were looking for wedding bands the girl didnt want to give us the price unless we bought the ring.. like how??? How can you make a purchase without knowing ?.. she looked at us like ugh!!! She gave us the price and didnt have the courtesy to come and tell us she yelled from the cashiers side to where we were standing.. horrible service!!!!

My husband and I went ring shopping here after a horrible customer service experience at Kay jewelers, located in the same mall. We had the pleasure of Wayne helping us. He was more than patient with all our questions and indecisiveness!!! We were treated with respect, and he was very polite! He and his co worker(Didn’t catch her name unfortunately) were very personable. Standard prices, great staff, good experience!
First, I want to say that I have only experienced this particular store and the way the manager treated us was not customer like. The manager was dismissive and did not try to work with finding a solution. I recently bought an engagement ring on January and by February, one of diamonds for the ring fell off. Did not even last a month for something that it is supposed to last forever. The manager said that it would take months to get it back without seeing if any other options were available. Besides the poor customer service and unwillingness to work with customers, I would not recommend the store to buy a special jewelry. I understand manufacturing comes into play but at least try to work with the customers, especially for special occasions like engagement
My local Zales got closed in near downtown. I drove 30mins to place to get my wife’s ring inspected. I just find it weird that the day I came they weren’t doing inspections - granted it’s a 7-10 minute process...then I had to a schedule for another day.The day I came for my appointment everything went smooth. The process took literally 3-5 minutes. I believe his name was Thomas but im probably wrong. Super nice guy and the everything went well. I’ll be coming to this one in 6 months
Worst experience! This is by far the worst experience ever, I will never go back to this store, they don’t know how to treat people! Been dealing with an issue about an online order! Melissa the “manager” of store has cero manners, since the first time we called the store to asked about our order she was really rude, I don’t understand how she is managing a store with the attitude! I was really excited about my purchase but after dealing with this kinda people with no class, we decided to cancel our order and take our money and business somewhere else!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

My fiancé decided to purchase a ring from Zales on Lincoln wood mall which unfortunately closed. I have had nothing but horrible experiences with the zales located inside the hip mall. I had taken in the ring for inspection as well as it needed some reparations . THOMAS was very rude since the start. He told me my ring didn’t have diamonds. Just to have his manager check his work again to determine they where. He never took down my information as I was told by another associate there. They usually take whoever brings in the ring information. Thomas failed to do so. After the mistreatment from this employee. As a retail employee myself for another company I felt like he was just having a bad day. I decided to not say anything. Yet his manager was there the whole time didn’t say one word to him.When I came back for the ring. THOMAS took care of me again. Let alone I was already nervous because he mistreated me the first time. Unfortunately his behavior was still the same towards me but worse. When I got there He asked if he can help. I gave him the receipt he had handed me that day I brought it in. He told me I was able to pick it up with that receipt. As I handed it to him. He looked at me and said “ and who are you ?!” I told him who I was. He ROLLED his eyes. I demanded my receipt back as I let him know how disrespectful he was for doing that. He tells me he would not be able to give me the ring because. I’m not in his system. YET HE FAILED TO TAKE IN MY INFORMATION. While this uncomfortable conversation is going on his manager is looking at us. Not saying one word.Another associate stepped up and he was able to help me. Thanks to him I knew Thomas failed to do his job correctly. I will not be bringing my ring to this location again ever. Little to think to purchase something from zales if this is the treatment I will be receiving. If anyone knows how I can reach corporate over this. I will appreciate it. I find it very unacceptable to be treated that way when I’m just trying to pick up something my fiancé spend money on. Very unprofessional !

If i could give this zero stars I would. Bad customer service. Was going to get my bracelet fix that broken when covid started. Note I brought the 65$ replacement plan on it. Brought it to the store and I dont know her name but some rude lady told us. We could send it in and get a new one then buy any other replacement plan for the new one. There should be no reason I have to buy another replacement plan on a new one. I left. Take your business some where else. These people are so rude and only care about them self. I would never shop here again.
If you like being lied to and disappointed come to this store. Ive been disappointed each visit whether online or in store. I purchased 5 rings for my wife to chose one. After her selection, I went into the Lincoln wood store to return the rings and get the warranty. A went to a Jared store close my my residence to get the ring inspected and cleaned every six months, a diamond fell out, I contacted customer service to verify where to send the ring to be replaced, I was informed it was not under warranty. I attempted to go to the store that assistant me but it was no longer there due to deceptive practices, non of the employees were employed with the company. I contact Melissa Lang the store manager of the Norridge store, I explained the situation, she told me to come in and she would take care of me. The first lie, I went into the store on Jan 1st and explained the situation to Melissa and two other employees, Melissa left and had another associate assistant, I asked numerous times, when I pick up the ring, I would only pay the warranty because of the error of the deceptive store. I was told yes numerous times, the associate stated the estimated repair would be over $200 dollars and I confirm that I would only pay for the Warranty and not the repair and they confirmed. This was the second lie! I was contacted by an associate on January 20th and I was told the estimated price for the repair and I confirmed again that when I pick up the ring I would only pay for the warranty, the associate stated yes. On January 25th I received a call stating the ring is ready, I confirmed with the associate that I would only pay $150 which is the cost of the warranty. The third lie! On January 26th, I excitedly rush 15 miles from Evanston to Zales to pick up my wifes ring thinking finally I am not getting screwed, but I did end up getting screwed. I handed Melissa the slip and she told me it would be over $200 dollars, I was confused because be briefly spoke before the left me with her associates and she said that she meant to say that when I restore the ring to when I first made the purchase, I would then pay for the Warranty. Which was not explained to me, the Jared location that I inspected the item wouldve charge $143 for the repair without warranty. Melissa Lang is not an ethical person, she should not be a store manager, she willingly lied to me, which seems like a common practice with Zales. These lies are at the expense of the clients. I would greatly appreciate a call from the district manager.
This store is very unprofessional and the customer service is non-existent I went into the store to have my fiance finger measured and they told me it was a 10.5 later I went online to purchase his ring but the size was too small when it arrived so I went into the store to get a size bigger to which Melissa in a very unprofessional way told me his ring will cost more because I purchased it online I dont understand since it was their fault in the first place for telling me the wrong size it was from the same store and its the same ring just half a size bigger this is the only time that a store has ever had this policy

There were 2 ladies one taking care of a customer and the second lady doing nothing she just ignored us the whole time until we asked her if we can be assisted. We were interested to purchase a sterling silver men ring band and the African American lady said they carried sterling silver in Store and if we wanted to take a look. Once she got to those men ring bands she said they dont carry sterling silver in Store at all but when I asked her so why did you say you did carry this in Store. She just started giving me a nasty attitude. What an unprofessional lady. My husband didnt want me to buy nothing from this Location he just didnt appreciate how this lady was uninterested to assist us in the 1st place. My husband has purchased gifts for me from this Location with other ladies and he has had great smooth shopping 🛍️ experiences before. This lady wasnt nice at all.
The lady I bought my ring from was awesome, but,she informed me she was leaving that store and I would go there to pay my bill and they always seem mad,I feel very uncomfortable in that store, but, it is 5 minutes from my home, my other option is woodfield. I would really like to buy more jewelry, but,Im afraid to interact with the employees there anymore then i have to. I also bought the lifetime warranty and have to go there every 6months,never again!! There are many other jewelry stores around there and thats where I will go!

I had a really bad experience in this store today. I asked one of the sellers,lady with glasses (do not remember her name,she looks like Hispanic or Latino)if she can make my watch smaller, she said yes,for $25. So I gave her my watch. She went to fix it and when she came back she said you dont have to pay, its on me. It was weird,I looked at my watch and was thinking that something wrong but didnt see anything, so I thanked her and left the store. Few minutes later I checked my watch and it was apart. I went back there and just told her to fix it. 2minutes later she gave my watch not fixed again,I could see it still was coming apart!!! I told her its still not good. And than finally she fixed it. But what maked me very upset,the way she act😠 she new that its not fixed and gave me back. Will never go back there!!!

I hate this zales!! The older lady with blonde hair and glasses gives me a hard every time I go there and is unwilling to help you. She lies about the warranty and told me I couldn’t send my ring out cuz I didn’t bring it in for inspection.. NOT TRUE. The diamond bond has NOTHING to do with the metal protection. The lady Cynthia took over since I told her I couldn’t stand the other lady. She found my info (since other lady said she couldn’t find it). Can’t wait for my ring to come back so I don’t have to go there anymore.
Sold me a chain thinking it was real precious metal to that of 14k yellow gold. Months later i return after finding it was 10k and lady with a short red yellow afro said i didnt sell them to you as 14k, they were 10k. Its a skeem to have you come back and exchange it for higher priced garbage (not on sale) and not get a refund. Never again. Childs play and shady business.

If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. Less than 12 hours after my wedding bands first required cleaning and inspection, one of the stones had fallen out. It was not just any stone, but a stone from my mother-in-laws wedding ring; my mother-in-law who passed away six months before our wedding. The employee who handled my cleaning and inspection was completely unapologetic and insisted she did a thorough inspection.I took the ring in to have the stone replaced (not that a family heirloom can be replaced, but I couldnt look at the void forever). The ring was supposed to be ready for me to pick up on or before January 15th. It is nearly two weeks past that date, and they still do not have the ring. We have been told that the ring was shipped from the jeweler (in Orland Park) on Monday, January 18th. How is it possible that it has not arrived in Norridge 5 days later? We have talked to the store manager and even corporate. Every single person has been extremely unprofessional and argumentative.My husband and I have been married for four months, and Zales has been in possession of my wedding band for over 1/3 of that time. We are leaving on our honeymoon in two days. I am so, so disappointed that I will not even be able to wear my wedding band on our honeymoon. We will never, ever consider doing business at Zales again and would not recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and heartache.

I bought a mens watch today and as soon as I walked out of the store it stopped working. Had to return the watch within 15 minutes of buying the item and the sales lady said that they could send the watch out for a new battery. Im sorry but if you are going to purchase a watch you should have a brand new battery in it. I will not be going back to this location.
