I hate shopping here but it’s only one of two hair stores in the area. It’s junky and the staff is rude and short with customers. Household products are way overpriced and so is their food items. I’m convinced that people shop here out of convenience only. If I had anywhere else to buy my hair products I certainly would!

Good store a one stop shop only thing u cant get from there is food well hot food...Love Spillane I frequent that store on the regular.

It’s like a mini Amazon...one stop shop for almost everything not a big food selection nonetheless it’s a benefit...

I initially gave this store 5 stars as they are my go to store as I work in Norristown. However today just 1 day prior to me being in the store and spending $100 on hair I was instructed to get out! I wrapped my scarf around my face as I forgot my mask and asked where my mask was? So as I proceed to the register to purchase one. As my plan was to purchase more hair, thats when the same gentleman who kindly rang me up yesterday told me to get out his store because the customers (maybe the one that walked by me with no mask or face covering at all) complained and feared their lives were endangered because I wrapped my scarf around my face. I will NEVER spend another $100+ in this store again. When a employee walks in my office with or without a face covering I dont bark at them I provide them with a mask or kindly advise they need one.

This store was a life saver during the state shut down. They carried EVERYTHING, from cleaning supplies to hair care products. I was able to get hair supplies to upkeep my hair. My only concern is the aisles are extremely long and extremely narrow. Its impossible to social distance. But the staff was very helpful and friendly.

They offer a nice selection on hair which is why I gave them 4 stars... the customer service gets 2 stars. Once everything is back opened I will not be patronizing them anymore.

Very sweet and friendly staff. Gentlemen are always smiling and say, maam and hello. Women behind the counter is always sweet and says, have nice day. I think the one guy is super handsome and kinda favors Jackie Chan also 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 overall amazing staff and merchandise lol

This hair store is the truth they got everything. I can always find my hair needs in here as well as my daughters hair needs. I love this store.

If you need hair stuff wigs supplies braiding hair they have a decent selection. I have gone to this store multiple times and the customer service and flaky. I seen them kick people out and refuse to service a lady who wanted to purchase from them. I’m not sure what ledto either occasions but the owners said some pretty Nasty things. Just saying if someone scoops low don’t go lower especially as a business

Love the store. Staff very friendly to me Every time I go in probably because I spend -$200 $300 every time I go in. The nice lady even cuts my lacefront wigs for me. Usually get a discount when I get several wigs. They always throw me a few free samples Wish they were open Sundays. I dont think the staff is rude due to the location I would say maybe its the customers who are rude. I would say it is in the ghetto area. Everyone knows that Asians arent going to deal with dramatic customers. Not being racist just saying. Overall the store and staff are great and I will definitely be a loyal customer😀 Everyone should know there are no refunds on hair!! Almost every hair store has that policy.

Hm. Mostly wigs. Odds and ends. Random groceries... Random overall. Its like a new age 5 & 10. My husbands grandfather actually started this business. I wonder what it looked like back in the day.

Love this place! They have hair products and tools, jewlery, make-up and they even sell house hold items like pots and pans and mops and luggage toiletries etc... great prices!!

They have the best selection of hair wigs beauty products. Parking is horrible.

This store has a little bit of everything! Whelp, almost everything. The sales staff are kind of impolite and kurt. But they offer a variety of hair and hair care products in addition to household items. They are fairly priced and they stay open until 7. To which I found to be so convenient because I needed beauty supplies for my daughters hair for an upcoming Christmas concert shes singing in.I will be back. The hours of operation alone have me willing to overlook the blah sales staff.

Spillane a staple in Norristown... You can always find what you are looking for in Spillanes. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. Store is clean with heat in the winter and cool in the summer. Staff are very respectful when taking payment for products and will place your change back in your hand. I truly appreciate their service.

Not a huge fan. I have been in this shop a few times now. Granted, there is a vast selection of many items from wigs to whatever you may be looking for--and thats a good thing. But the customer service leaves much to be desired.Allow me to site one example. Im looking for bobbed wigs for the summer. I know what I want. In the search, a woman who works there was very agitated at best that I couldnt make up my mind. She was arrogant and rude when I told her what she was showing me was not a true bob. She was becoming more and more annoyed until she finally walked away from me.The price point of the wigs is on the higher side compared to sites like Divatress and HairsoFly. In all honesty, there is another beauty supply/wig outlet a few blocks away--that store is much better and the customer service much better.

Great place to get hair, been going there for years and is my number one place to get my braiding hair,weaves, wigs and hair oils and stuff.

Most people shop there out of convenience due to their location. I do like that whenever I shop there I am able to find what I need. They even made key copies. However, I do not like that they sometimes follow pple around the store. I have not personally experienced rudeness from staff, but I have observed less than welcoming looks happening to others a couple of times. The store sometimes smells like dead rodents near the braiding hair, Ive even smelled it in the packs of hair. Not sure what it is. hair is reasonably priced, but household and grocery items are over priced.
