We came to North adams for vaca and this place is such a cute little hidden gem! Staff and owner were so friendly. Food is so yummy and coffee delicious! While we were waiting for our order to be done we took a look around this place and their was so much to see. Lots of cool stuff! So sad to hear the owner is selling it. Hope the new owners will leave it like it is.
Great local breakfast place! Friendly staff and good food! Please be patient as they only have two staff serving everyone.
This is a really wonderful little cafe to get both breakfast and lunch at. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. When my car unexpectedly died in their parking lot, a staff member helped me jump start the car. Heart toss to helping strangers when they are in a dire situation! THANK YOU for being good people!!
It has gotten weird. Water damaged tea for sale, broken items for sale (just add glue to this cracked cutting board and its good as new:$10) Also a sign about using wifi but no electricity. Really!? Best not allow customers use a fraction of a cent to plug in a laptop while sitting at tables marked 45 minutes only. Oh man... Lastly, it is preferred you pay with cash. If you use a card there is no option to tip the counter... To tip the person actually making your coffee. Cheap cheap cheap. The owner should just close instead of keeping whatever this operation is going. Its been for sale for years and no one wants to buy it.
Nice place! Came here during Freshgrass 2021, so the kitchen took a little while, but it was worth the wait! Split an almond french toast and a frittata with my partner.Dine-in IS available now.Merchant prefers cash.
Such a cool little Cafe, very quaint but hip. Good service. Nice breakfast and lunch menu with plenty of veggie options. I ordered the veggie frittata and it was delicious and elegantly prepared with a side salad and toast. Great local spot!
Funky... Spacious...Clean... Friendly... delicious coffee! Never had a Espresso Canadiano before... perfect combo of rich coffee with a little sweetness. And this location is for sale. So hey investors... snap it up while you can.
Nice - Coffee was good - Owner was nice and friendly - Hate Location - Love the Building
Brew-ha-ha is a local institution and an incredibly friendly & tasty place. The food is creative & outstanding and the staff is wonderful. To the reviewer who complained about not being able to plug in their laptop -- did you confuse this great locally-owned cafe with a Panera?!? theres one in Pittsfield, Im sure theyll let you plug in there! 😂 🤣
We went here last weekend, posting late. Great food, great service, great people. It seemed liked they were selling a lot of things to stay in business. I forgot something inside and 2 minutes later, they were at our truck window with it, they came telling us we forgot something. They are the place you want to go to. Quality from food to integrity, please keep their doors open.
What a gem! I had passed it a few times and this morning decided to stop in. Great service, awesome breakfast bagel and really cool vibe.
We were a family of 9 spending a weekend in Hancock, MA. This place was 30 minutes away from us, however since the Google Rating was so high we decided to try Brewhaha earlier today.I have to say I have traveled all over the Country for work and pleasure and would rate this place one of the top five for breakfast. Starting from Friendliness of Staff to Clineliness and the quality/quantity of food was all excellent. Everyone in our family raved highly of their dishes and we would sure return, when in the area. My sincere Thanks to Nancy, Joanna & Emily. You ladies made our great weekend even better.
Great food. Had the frittata. Really nice staff. Clean place. Definitely worth visiting
Best bagels in the area; Better than Tunnel City. I recommend Scallion cream cheese. Good customer service. Please pay with cash to help save $ during hard times.
You cant get better than Brewhaha for the food or the atmosphere! Yes its slightly sadder than it used to be downtown before the pandemic but times are tough so keep the sparkle of this beloved cafe alive. Its truly a hidden gem for those who havent tried it yet. If you order the Brewhaha salad, trust me you wont regret it I believe its the best in the WORLD. Unique flavors and cozy comfort across the menu, in the music and soul of this gorgeous spot. The owners are lovely and worked hard to make sure you have a fantastic experience here. I love the candiano espresso drink with real maple syrup, the broccoli grilled cheese and the chocolate chibatta with butter. Everything is perfectly textured, flavorful and satisfying the the last bite! This is what a homey cup of joe and a nurioushing lunch should be all about. Thank you for making my day for the last 20 years Brewhaha
Very delicious! Quaint, locally-owned cafe that was a perfect breakfast takeout spot before a hike. Ordered the vegetable frittata and omelette. Definitely stop here instead of a chain option
The best breakfast Ive had in a long time! Everything was high quality and thoughtful
This was my first time here. The coffee was good but there is a yard sale feel to the inside. Every table is covered with used stuff for sale. You can sense that pre-covid this must have been a great place to come and socialize. A little organization would go a long ways to making this place feel like its not going out of business.
Best place to get a coffee and a croissant in the area.
Cool and quirky little place with good food and coffee! Super friendly staff!
The coffee is good and the atmosphere is nice. Would go again!
Best coffee in the area. Love the people
First time here, it wont be our last! Food and drinks were delicious, staff was friendly and fun. My new favorite place for breakfast!
Rating is based on bagel and coffee quality. Cant speak for the rest, but there is a wide selection of pastries, egg preps, and sandwiches/wraps that all certainly look good. Just havent tried them.
I love this place, the atmosphere, and the people who work there. Really good people. So many yummy things, the locals are a chill crowd, dont be afraid to make a new friend while there. You can now eat outside on the side deck. They are just outside of downtowntown on the way toward williamstown.Their irish oatmeal is hearty and you can get baked cinnamon apple ontop, so are their nice big fat waffles!!! yums! Best coffee in town too and the cashier is really sweet! :)
Yummy food and drink. Great variety of menu, very vegetarian friendly. The staff was positively lovely !! We were driving to a hiking trail and rathered to eat outside than in the car (was a cold day, but we were geared up for the hike anyway) and upon discovering our eating in the cold, the chef took the time to bring a space heater out to us!! We appreciated the hospitality, and if ever in the area again, Brewhaha will be our go-to!
Good food, good service, nice place! Go!
I have been going there since they opened years ago. They are great people and the food is always great 👍
Cool little place with great coffee
Amazing food and service!
This place serves fantastic coffee and I had one of the best banana muffins Ive ever tasted.
Not a good study spot. While the wifi is decent, the establishment literally covered the outlets and prohibits public use.As a breakfast spot, its great. Local ingredients, made to order sandwiches, high quality coffee and some rotating menu items. The facilities are clean and staff are kind and attentive.Theyre even more attentive when you try to plug in a computer while studying after paying for overpriced food and coffee...
Believe anyone can expect a wonderful brunch from here.
Eggplant panini was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. So good! Picky toddler ate a fruit cup which was beautifully plated with seasonal fruits. Coffee was amazing. Ambiance was very laid back. Staff welcoming and friendly. I love this place so much and will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area
What a delightful experience! I spent an hour and a half enjoying a beautifully arranged fruit salad that was very fresh and a grilled bagel. The coffee was hot and the music was perfect, light jazz. One free refill on mug coffee and the price is very reasonable. Nobody is rushing you out for the next customer. Fantastic atmosphere, local artist paintings for sale. Definate must visit, and I will again.
I had a delicious breakfast there.
Brew Haha is a great place to grab a seat. Its in a prime location, theres even parking all over the place, and the atmosphere inside is warm and eclectic. The foods great, everything is made to order and all the baked goodies are made by them. I do see a few negative reviews on here, and Im just going to say, Find me another place that is even comparable to this place. Its a gem. From the handmade signs to the colorful art on the wall, to the impeccably clean tables and seating. It just WORKS. Its right in the middle of all the action, yet you feel strangely at ease. Theyve created a great vibe here, and I definitely recommend it.
I would love to give them a better rating, but when I was working across the street recently, I couldnt get a coffee or anything else. Neither could the other twenty plus guys working the job. It was a Wednesday and they were closed. Wednesday.
They actually have pretty good breakfast there. I really like the breakfast sandwich.
Cool little place. Frendly service. Great coffee. Good food. Just no parking. On street only. Be careful the area of road is known for many car accidents.
Great vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast and lunch. And good coffee!
Great place for a small lunch. Just make sure you get there when theyre open!
I just had one of the all-time greatest breakfast sandwiches I have ever eaten! The eggs had peppers and greens, I think there was turkey in there somewhere in addition to the sausage...breakfast craft at its finest, folks. And to think I have been coming here for the better part of 2 years and never asked for one!Honestly, the only reason is because of the spinach wrap, which is a daily amalgamation of leftover ingredients from everything else, all wrapped up and grilled in a green bread tube for your breakfasty delight. Those things are so dang satisfying that I never asked for anything else!
My family loves going here. Very good food, very tasty and creative. The staff is very helpful and kind.
For a coffee shop they are stingy on their coffee. One cup no refills. And the coffee is in thermoses... and they have an odd WiFi policy. And the front door is blocked off, beautiful wooden door. Fire code don’t matter. Block the door. How do you mess up a simple coffee shop ?! Bunch of weirdos runnin that joint for sure. Even the food is weird there. Like a simple baconsggnchesse doesn’t exist.
Great vibe, best breakfast/brunch/lunch anywhere!
Simple setting, chill vibe, fast service, delishous food! I ordered the spinach wrap...such a fresh unique combination of ingredients! A whole new level for spinach wraps.
Awesome brunch spot or lunch to go during the week. Always a friendly neighborhood vibe with great vegan/vegetarian options and baked goods
Busy on weekends, but you can usually get a seat. Great soups and sandwiches. Quick service. Vegan options (the portabella wrap is delicious!)
This place is everything you could want: good food, great staff, comfortable atmosphere.
Theyre the best! From coffee to a sandwich you cant go wrong.
Cute coffee shop in small town. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Lovely people
Best breakfast place in North Adams. Great organic sandwiches & bakes goods. Wonderful coffee. The place is a clear labor of love on the part of the owner.
Good food and coffee, but unfortunately dont go there as they do not offer outlets/electricity. I typically use coffee shops, as a college student, to study and do work.
What a perfect coffee shop. The food menu offers vegetarian, vegan, meat centric, and sans-gluten. Delicious teas and sweets pair with a quirky, comfortable atmosphere too!
Great coffee. Tasty treats. Good and unusual breakfast and lunch foods, like The Bird is the Word chicken sandwich.
This place is the epitome of 4.5 stars. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the price for a simple waffle ($8) was a bit much. Served with a side of melted butter and 2 apple slices on top of a cheap plate made it feel spartan for the price. The iced coffee was good, nothing great. Its one of those places you dont know what to do when you first walk in. The side door brings you into the middle of the cafe, the cashier is to the right. Do you order there or sit? I had to figure it out, no one saw my puzzled look and told me. I also had to wait for another person to come to the counter to take my order. I felt a bit out of place, but no big deal. Once helped, I thought everyone else was nice and friendly. The cafe itself is clean, cozy yet spacious. Nice bathroom. Wifi. All really good things. Ill have to try a more complicated food item and other things to see if I can change it to a 5. I loved the place and decor. On this visit, tho, the food was just good. And pricey. Hence, the 4 stars. Im ready to throw that 5er down, tho...
Great coffee! The owners Barry and Nancy are amazing people. Would recommend brewhaha to everybody! Thanks
Did a very nice wet latte (aka flat white or Italian cappuccino) once I described what I wanted (different regions have different names).Bakery items abound, but many items are wrapped in plastic wrap, not a great technique for preserving flavor and freshness. Taste of plastic wrap-infused cookie which was also not very fresh - gluten free but not a pleasure to eat.Atmosphere is a bit cozy clutter but tables and bathroom are clean and there is secure wifi. Convenient parking and downtown location across from Mass MoCA.
Great coffee, high quality expertly prepared breakfasts and lunches, extensive menu, excellent pastries. Worth the trip, even if you have to go out of your way.
BEST COFFEE spot IN TOWN to grab a Mocha! Superior taste! Super service! Cheers!☕
SLOW - dont go here if youre trying to get anywhere. I waited in line for almost 15min to order (there were only 3 ppl in line ahead of me) then it took forever to get my food. I was on the way somewhere and didnt know of other spots on the way in this area. So slow!!!
Cute cafe with an amazing selection for vegan and vegetarian. All very delicious. Great little shop.
Such a great place. They have breakfast and lunch. The frittata is soooooo good!If this was in Asheville, there would be a line around the block waiting to get in.
Good food, very nice staff, some interesting options yet you can get the basics, too. A pleasant experience with a light jazzy soundtrack in the background that doesnt overwhelm quiet conversation.
One of the best waffles ever and the staff is amazing
Delicious pho blt vegan and great vegetarian options. Wish I found this place sooner it is great
This place is really busy on the weekends but the food is so-so and its kind of pricey. (Breakfast sandwich for $8) Better to go to lickity split at Mass moca for good food and a reasonable portion( breakfast sandwich $3-$6)
Best breakfast in North Adams! Waffles are incredible
Wonderful mom and pop coffee bar. Great breakfasts. Its a staple in our family
Best coffee around, food very good too !
The location outside of massmoca is good. Nice for the community board and finding things to do. Friendly, average.
Great coffee!! Excellent fresh & delicious food.
I ordered 2 salads from there on Friday... People bragging how good they are.. I brought them to my clients and they were drenched in dressing and all soggy had to throw away 20 dollars... Never again !!!!!
Great food. Great coffee. Great staff.
Comfortable vibe, great music, friendly staff. Delicious selection of veg*n, and good coffee!
Great food and atmosphere...orange almond French toast is delicious!
Horribly slow service. There was only one person taking orders and she was in no rush to get anything done. The line was out the door, but she did not care. The coffee was average at best. I am disappointed by the restaurant and the rating. I have no idea what everyone else is raving about.
Love this little coffee bar, great food and great people! Frittata is def one of my favs. One of my fav places to go for coffee, lunch or just because!! 🙌😬
Local favorite, great coffee and tea selection, vegetarian and vegan options.
Wanted to sit but was told at 3 pm on a Saturday, their closing earlier then the posted 5 pm time..when asked why, he States(looks like owner or older cook) business has been slow.. hmm, figured he would want our money considering (business is slow..).. too bad. The hub took our money Glady..
Great coffee, friendly people. Jazz!
Excellent food and service.
Long standing business with consistently delicious food.
This is our go to place for coffee drinks and delicious breakfasts. Havent been disappointed yet!
Locally popular. Crowded. Nice brunch items.
Good coffee (mocha joes from brattleboro!) and great breakfast!
Wonderfull small coffee shop with a very earthy, worldly atmosphere, moderately high prices but the quality is certainly worth it!
Anyone that appreciates quality expresso or coffee drinks with healthy food should come to Brewhaha! Authentic European cafe, not corn syrup flavored slop like Dunkin Donuts ( even the expresso is faked with a syrup at Dunkin Donuts). They have real barristas, real cooks, not microwaved prepared slop. The staff is friendly. The food is prepared their and some of the chefs breakfast / lunch specials have cute names like Bobs Burgers (except he had been doing this for 30 years). Sometimes the line is long but that is because the people that recognize good quality expresso or coffee, and healthy food line up for their fare.I have read a negative review by people looking for fast food or instant microwaved food with coffee that has sat for hours. They should just go to the donut shop where they belong!
Great food and atmosphere!
Real maple syrup and sliced almonds did not make my two thin slices of french toast worth 7.50, and the french toast had a bad taste even with the maple. My kids deserved another pancake for 7.50...they got one and it was not that giant. I should also get silverware not plasticware when paying 7.50 for a pancake or two very thin slices of french toast. The managers attentiveness to my criticism was not good. He said to check prices other places. I am in North Adams not Boston, not even Troy for that matter where I can get a way better deal at Spill N the Beans. Oh, the veggie frittata with melted cheese is 10.50 here. I should have been given a jug of maple syrup to take home with me and the biss is going to have to pay the server for me...a guy who normally gives good tips. But I could not give them any more of my money. Horrible experience...never again and I hope the same for you...never go there.
Nice atmosphere,decent chow good Joe.
Excellent all the way around! Turkey wrap is amazing!
Friendly and sitdown place WiFi and baked goods and food there
Great selection and has veg options and soy milk!
Delicious
Food is made to order, coffee is great.
Besides great coffee and pastry the music is wonderful.
