Aldi is wonderful and slightly surreal. You look around and see almost-familiar logos, but with brand names you never heard of and in the wrong colors. They dont do fancy displays, which makes it easier to just shop!And everything is WAY CHEAP. Win-win.Oh, and their employees are treated well (cashiers should be allowed to sit!) and smart and helpful. So win-win-win!

Good quality products at reasonable price. Only problem is, if you go in evening, most of the fresh fruits & vegetables are out of stock. They don’t refill.

Good place to pick up stuff. Conveniently located. Quarter for the cart can be substituted with a key if you don’t have a coin.

Very organized and clean and always up to the date with new stuff ...and you cant beat the gas prices here and the plus is you dont need membership for the gas....so bayonne area best place to get food and gas and not to add the organisation run it really great the employees are very very helpful and well spoken so they know what they doing kudos!

This store was great but with new set up is horrible and the smell of rotten food is unbearable. Health dept needs to stop by. Sad cause it was a great store before the renovation inside

My go to grocery store. All the perks that aldi is known for. Great prices and a good selection of the basics. It is very busy most of the time so I do wish the inventory was better stocked at times, but I really can’t complain. Staff is always attentive and cashiers run the show and keep everything moving even when it’s crazy busy.

Its a typical Aldi. German pragmatism at its finest. No BS, just good quality products at reasonable prices. I particularly like their yogurts, which look and taste just like Chobani. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart deposit!

It has some great options of food at very low prices which is really hard to find right now due to how many stores have increased their prices because of the pandemic.

People that work there are so rude. Asked a girlWho was packing the shelf if something was in stock and she gave me an attitude. Lazy workers. Never going again. Customer service is key for me. Hate the new setup also.

Products are great! Weve had very very few fails with their items. Their dino nuggets are my sons favorites. Depending on the day you go; some of the produce can be hit or miss on freshness.

Again Aldi was a child memory of mine growing up in Missouri where we shopped for best price in U-CITY. So my behavior has not changed about shopping at some of the same stored consistently.

I was not impressed! The lady at the checkout was a bit rude and dumped my groceries in the cart unconcerned and said you have to bag yourself and pointed to a long bench. I like LIDL much better. I have been to another ALDI where the produce, range and selection of products and friendliness of staff was so much better. Im not sure if I will return to this store or location. The prices are pretty good though. Please improve this store and location ASAP!

The lines are long but move fast. I can almost always find what Im looking for if not more. The only reason I give it four stars is sometimes theres literally hardly any food there

This place is known for good prices and that is why it is getting 4 stars. I think the most important thing one would go here for is to buy cheap groceries that are decent quality so that is why it deserves 4 stars. But things could be better...for one, sometimes the lines are very long. Second, I have had issues with the quality of their chicken. I rarely buy breasts or thighs. Some breasts show signs of woody breast (look it up) and their thighs have a lot of fat and just dont look presentable. The pork on the other hand is excellent...from their loins to their chops. Good stuff. Lastly, people dont come here for customer service but it would be nice if workers looked a little happier. I am not saying at all that they are not nice...just would be nice to show some personality. Look to Trader Joes as an example of excellent customer service with personality that shines through.

After finding this Aldi I made the switch and now do almost all my shopping here! You really cant beat their prices. The store is always well stocked and clean. It can get rather busy on certain days, but the employees always move customers through the checkout line quickly

I’ve been shopping here for the past few months, overall good experience, good prices and really like their vegetable and fruit selections. The only downfall and the reason for a 4 Star rating is that I noticed that I was getting charged double for certain products on a few of my shopping trips. Overall, it is a great store to shop for fresh groceries.

I do like this supermarket .... their food is fresh and the pricing is so reasonable. But some times they have the strangest things for sale!

Aldi provide cheapest organic products. Though they dont have much US brands.They usually sell owned brand which are equally good.Bakery products are dirt cheap compared to any other retail chains

Very small aldi, I’ve been to others that were bigger and had a better selection. Prices are great, and the products are also pretty good. I almost always buy in bulk here because you can NOT beat these prices ! Nevertheless a great supermarket to save money.

It was ok. Wish ALDI offers more leafy green such as parsely. DillLast week I was there. The apples are bruised inside? Bananas are frozen inside ( Dark spots)!! Green onions were not fresh which I did not buy. Please put some orders on the frozen sections. It is hard to reach for small frozen hens which are pushed in to the back of freezers. The price are good not arrangment anf freshness of the products.

Theres never any meat during the pandemic time. Only sausage and bratwurst and some fish. They have good deals though on fruit and veggies and some other random items. I usually read the weekly ad before I go so I know what to get. Its a small supermarket so there isnt much options.

Watch out for cashier name JHODYI go this store all the time, its a nice place but recently i noticed one of the cashier here is very very unprofessional. She throws your grocery purchases to the shopping cart and keeps giving you attitude like you did something wrong by purchasing from Aldi. One of the item was not even in the cart, it went right to the floor thanks to her. After she is done with us she was very kind and nice and talkative with following customer. Cashiers name tag is JHODY, so watch out. I know i am wasting my time here but what she did was rude and very unprofessional. Why would you throw a gallon milk on top of bananas ? Whats the point?

I am giving this particular store 1 star because this particular aldi is not a equal job opportunity to males only females work there the only male in this store is the manager . They have job fairs i apply there 2 times . The last time i was there i talk to the manager i ask him why you only hire females he gave me the shoulder. No answer i just walk out.

I am very familiar with Aldis as to when it opened near me many years ago. Now that I live in the North I was glad to discover Aldis once again.There is a saying dont fix what is not broken. I am glad to say aldis has not changed. It is still the same high quality low cost food establishment that it has always been. Naturally some prices on items was a little more than traditional stores but the prices on many other items compensated for it.The only issue for me us that it has way too much junk food. Id like to see more grocery items.I spent 90 today and walked out with a cart full of class items.Just to wish there was a closer location or one in Jersey City.

My mom shops here all the time so i had to food shop here myself. I like how the fruits and vegetables are fresh and not expensive. The prices here in general are amazing.

Always a good selection of products, good prices, plenty of parking. Remember this is an European grocery store so they dont provide bags, if you dont have your own you will have to purchase them at the register. .Save the planet and money, bring you own bags.Also they dont carry the exact same products all the time, it may be a good idea to buy more than one if you see something you really like .

Aldi store is convenient for a quick or elaborate shopping run. Ample parking.fast checkouts. Well organized. Well stocked. Fresh produce. Good meat section. Variety of sweets, coldcuts,cheese, and some home goods/etc.*Hours reduced: they close at 5 pm until further notice.

Its an ALDI, so cheap prices for own-brand food which is decent quality and has a German accent. As usual prices are kept low because theres never enough staff. So the store can sometimes feel a bit chaotic. My only gripe with this one is that it doesnt sell alcohol, which is a shame.

Why no crab legs?

While this store offers a lot of off-brand or rip-offs of regular brands such as Kelloggs, the products are cheap and are often healthier than the regular brand. The food is great and I would much prefer the cheaper alternatives than mainstream products. I also find how creative they are to solving the issue of people leaving their grocery carts all over the place. You put a quarter into the slot of the grocery cart and then you connect a metal buckle(?) that gives you the quarter back. This organization outside and within the store makes the whole grocery shopping process much quicker and effortlessly than, for example, Target or Walmart.
