Disorganized, unprepared. Vehicle I bought needed service although they said it didn’t. I don’t think their mechanics did a proper inspection. Needs a new part. Although covered by warranty and I have a loaner, I am still without my vehicle waiting on part. Top of the line cars deserves top of the line care. I can not recommend this dealership.

Dropped the car off for general service check-up on a Friday morning. Car not finished for three days (Tuesday afternoon). Very little communication from the dealership. No return call. Email response days later. Given there are two other dealerships close by in Tysons and Annapolis, I will absolutely go there over Bethesda Land Rover / Jaguar. Seemed understaffed. Maybe because of vacations, but a simple heads-up, or an offer for a loaner car or at least an Uber home would have been nice.

Jaguar Bethesda was awesome. My daughter goes to the University of Maryland and drives an Epace. She had a flat. After roadside assistance installed the spare, she return home. They immediately scheduled an appointment when she could come is and replace the tire with new and at the same time check through the entire vehicle. This will be a snippet but very accurate account of my experience with this dealership: I found an Infiniti G37 Convertible at this dealership at a price that was very attractive. It was recently listed and didnt have any pictures on website other than the stock picture, so I was somewhat skeptical. I sent my info to be contacted by someone on the automated website feature. I was contacted by a salesman that took the initiative to take some actual pics of car inside and out. Honestly, I was very impressed by the vehicles appearance inside and out. I was so intrigued by the price and appearance of the vehicle that I did more research on vehicle right away. It had no major accidents, a couple of owners so I proceeded to go forward. Now, this is the kicker. I live in Virginia and this dealership is in Maryland as you can see. My work and life schedule was pretty tight so I didnt have an extra time to travel up 95 to Maryland anytime soon. I figured Ive ordered many things online, so why not a car. I know that CARVANA does this all the time, but most dealerships didnt have this feature as an option I assumed. I worked things out with salesman Arouna Johnson that made things work remotely. I admit I had some moments of worry because of the remote process, but A.J. kept me updated on things as much as he could. It was a few hiccups where I contacted management for some clarity in which to this day I have never heard back from them. I left several voicemails, emails to sales manager and the GM with no reply to any of them. I felt that since I wasnt purchasing a Range Rover for 100k that the importance of calling or emailing me back was non-existent. I understand the car sales business as Ive worked for a dealership before, so I know how far a call back or an email reply goes. This really put a sour taste in my mouth so to speak. At the end of the day, I did purchase vehicle solely because of the vehicles condition and the efforts from Arouna Johnson. I hope that management will see this as a learning opportunity that a response goes a long way, no matter what the customer is purchasing-as I could be in the market for a Range Rover one day, but I wont be going there. Once again I thank Arouna Johnson for all of his efforts to make this work remotely. The vehicle is doing great, and it came with a 90-day, 4k mile warranty which was great to have on a used vehicle.

First of all where can i start, this guys are really good, it took them less than an hour to wrapped up everything and hand me the keys to the new Lexus RX 450 I purchased. This was my second purchased from this dealership. their prices are amazing too. They give the best for trade-in too. highly recommended. will be back again for wifey F-pace.

Got my car serviced and Phil is the service advisor thats on it! Hes super helpful and keeps you update on everything thats happening to your vehicle, but hes not intrusive to your day. I was put in a loaner car, which shouldve been a nicer vehicle than my current vehicle I have as to increase their Sales, but its not a big deal.Im pleased with how Phil treated me with respect and spoke to me like hes got sense. I am a younger guy and he didnt treat me like a child. He spoke to me in a courteous manner and thats whats going to keep me coming back. Mike Smith, the Service Director, is a fair and straightforward individual, also.Now, things that they can improve on, making sure that Im greeted, as soon as I pull up by someone who is cheerful and smiling and make sure there are no water spots on my freshly cleaned car.All in all, a good experience, plus they show car related shows in waiting area!

Surprising unexpected bad experience at a higher end used dealership. Kevin the finance manager rushed the finance portion of the deal and made many errors on paperwork. 3 weeks after I sign the documents he tells me that titling was rejected because he put my name incorrectly. I live an hour away from the dealership so not only did I need to waste 2+ hours of my time to go back to sign documents that Kevin made mistakes on, he did not even apologize. I have had the car for almost a month now and still have temporary tags. On the bright side, Kevin the sales representative was very pleasant and did everything he could to help the process. The last part of my issues with the place the car they sold, had bald tires and leaking oil. I did not see this until I made it home and the oil leaked in my garage. The dealership fixed this problem, which I’m thankful for, but it was also another 2 hour round trip. I wish I could get reimbursed for the gas I spent for 4 hours of commuting and a free oil change out of this nonsense.

I cannot compliment Mike Smith, my service manager, strongly enough. For years, Mike has kept our Jaguars in top condition. When something needs attention, he’s on it immediately. His technical knowledge is second to none and only below his attentiveness and genuine care. I’ve purchased 5 Jaguars from this dealership since 1995 and serviced them exclusively with Mike’s team. Mike is the reason for my purchasing and service loyalty. During this visit, Thomas also went way above and beyond to help my family. Maybe that’s why I feel like family.

The purchase of our Jaguar F-Pace was one of the best car buying experiences my wife and I have ever had. Upon inquiring about a specific car we were contacted immediately, an appointment at our convenience was scheduled, and were presented with a bottom-line purchase price and trade-in value up front. There was absolutely no pressure or haggling during our appointment, our sales rep Earnest was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the entire staff was absolutely professional. This is by far the worst experience i have ever had at a car dealership. DO NOT WORK WITH anna marie. She was the most unprofessional sales person I have ever had the displeasure of working with. For starters anna marie was unable to even send me pictures of the correct vehicle upon request. I was looking at a ford f150 and she proceeded to send me pictures of a ford f350 a completely different vehicle. From there she constantly confused the year of the vehicle leaving me wondering if we were ever on the same page or even talking about the same truck. On Thursday I requested more information on the vehicle before I came to purchase. Anna marie made me feel like every question I asked was too much if a hassle to answer. When i requested information on their 5 day guarantee on used vehicles she responded with “why would you even buy a vehicle if you just plan to bring it back”. She was evasive on many details and refused to give me straight answers on anything unless I came into the dealership. When i wanted to come in Thursday night she told me she was leaving and wouldnt be there until 11 the next day for which we set an appointment. When i showed up to the dealership and met with her she informed me the truck sold that morning and the paperwork was already being done. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? She did not even have the courtesy to let me know the truck had sold before our scheduled appointment and allowed me and my cosigner to both take off work and take the decent drive out to the dealership only to be told the truck sold. When i confronted her about buying the truck Thursday night and that i could have come in then she blamed it on inventory. If you value your time an money id shop elsewhere and if you do have to go to this dealership for any reason at all AVOID ANNA MARIE AT ALL COSTS. She is rude unprofessional and has no interest in helping you out as a customer. If customer service is important to you this is not the place to buy a vehicle. My hope is that in reading this someone else will be spared from having to work with anna marie in the future.

I am only giving 1 star because it has been a nighttmare since I bought my used 2014 Santa Fe from this dealership. 3 weeks after I got my car the check engine light came on. I took it back and had to pick it up and drop it back off 3 different days and times and they STILL could not figure out what is going on. I brought it back to them the first week of Feb.. here is it almost April and the issue still isnt fixed. They also told me that they are not used to working on my kind of car and that is why its taking so long to fix this issue or for them to even find what the issue is to begin with. Now it has to go to Hyundai so they can fix it. So I would not recommend buying a car from here if it is not a Jaguar, Range rover, or Land rover.

I took my jaguar for service (software upgrade due to rear view camera intermittent problems). I dropped the car off at 07.45 AM and I had to call 3 times to get status. Finally at 05.45PM of the same day I received my car back. However, the console required total reconfiguration and the service representative told me “the car needed a software upgrade” (I had just left the car the full day for a software upgrade….).In reality the console needed to be fully reconfigured and I spent 2 hours using You Tube to get my console back.I am sure, it was an off day…yet you cant give a customer back a car with a non-functioning console, or tell him that the car needs a software upgrade once you had the car the full day to “complete a software upgrade..”

Sold my wife’s car to AutoNation and was instructed to bring it to Jaguar Bethesda for inspection and to complete the transaction. AutoNation gave an offer that was significantly higher than car max so I was very skeptical going there since they had not seen the vehicle yet as it was only an online offer based on information I provided. Everyone there was extremely nice offering my wife and I beverages and snacks while we waited suggested local locations we could walk to while we waited. No need to go anywhere though as the process was quick and efficient. I signed all the transfer paperwork received a check for the original offer which we were extremely pleased with and we were on our way. They treated us like we were purchasing a top of the line Jag or Land Rover. They were unaware that I am the owner of a Jaguar F Pace so when it’s time to replace it I will definitely consider this dealership based on the service they gave us. Great job Bethesda Jaguar Land Rover!!

I had wonderful experience servicing my Discovery Sport at the service center of Jaguar Bethesda. The ambient temperature sensor was malfunctioning resulting in erratic operation of the A/C system. The service advisor, Steve Lapkoff, did not ignore the issue (unlike others at the shop) and got it fixed. It needed an software update. Very happy with the outcome.

I purchased a 2018 Land Rover Velar with around 10k mileage from the dealership last year (2019) . I was the first owner as it had been used by the dealership for the company to use sporadically.The check engine light came on in Dec. of 2019 and I realized I also needed to bring it in for the annual service soon too. I originally brought it in for service on April 2020 for the annual service and check engine light. I picked it up Sunday evening at closing time drove a few miles down the road and then saw the engine light came back on and Check tire. I had to then bring it back to find that the tire had a nail in it (the dealership covered this) and they would need to take more time to figure out the check engine light. This was now May. I then received a call that THE ENTIRE ENGINE had to be replaced! I wasnt given much more information except that this is what the computer had said. (luckily it was covered under the warranty). I had to drive the loaner car and sometimes drive out of town for work. I found myself having to call the dealership to ask the status on my car. My sales rep would then say he would call me back the next day to keep me posted. When he wouldnt call the next day I then had to call back multiple times for updates. The sale associate twice told me that it would be ready by a certain date and even told me specifically on one Thursday that I would be able to finally pick it up on that next Monday. So, I stayed in town that weekend, called Monday and was told that he was not working that day and they didnt think my car was actually ready yet! I had to ask the sales rep to please just be up front with me and if he didnt know if it would be ready yet then to just say that but not to give guarantees on the ready date.I finally picked up my rebuilt VELAR (new engine new alternator etc) on Jul 31 and so far no check engine light. BUT I still have no idea why this happened to such a high end newer vehicle with

Excellent customer service deserves appreciation! I wanted to take this time out to express my EXTREME GRATITUDE for Cheryl Stewart. She went above and beyond to kiss the boo boo. It saddens me to say that I had the worse experience purchasing my 2020 XF from your dealership. But due to the fact this was the car that I had been looking for over 6 months. I continued with the process. I only wish that Ms. Stewart was able to get the commission for this sale. My salesman truly made me feel like he didnt value my time. Or my intelligence due to the lack of effect with answering my questions. I must say Ms. Stewarts sense of compassion, empathy, knowledge, and wonderful customer service. Obviously went here to buy a car, and left extremely unhappy. We test drove a used 2010 non-jaguar but still luxury car. We were told how amazingly clean it was, and how it was just so immaculate. It was 10 years old, so I was not expecting a perfect condition, but the inside was pretty rough. There was still dog hair everywhere, with dog claw marks and punctures, and the steering wheel was eroded by the previous owners fighting. Again, nothing completely deal breaking, but certainly this would have decreased the value of the car. After the test drive we were told that they would not negotiate on the price at all. This was about $3,000 over pre-covid market plus a non-negotiable dealer processing fee. This is not their fault, as they are a large corporate no-haggle dealership, which is fine. I left, as is my right, as is their right to charge what they want. We were pressured to buy the car, but it just made me chuckle. The service was slow, as we sat for a long time. I get that things take time, but this was not my first test drive, nor rodeo, with car dealerships.

The service department needs to step up their customer service. Phillip & his team were not welcoming. If you have an appointment for a specific service, why is it that they can’t provide you with a loaner if they are backed up or short staff. I went in for a tire air leak & I was told they couldn’t service my car until 3 hours later and when I asked for a loaner they couldn’t provide me with one either. My service advisor was out on vacation. However Thomas was very helpful. I told Phillip this was unacceptable & after 45 min of wait time they finally took my car back service. I’ve never experience this lack of service before. This needs to stop customers are being inconvenienced due to their lack of service.

The worst service department. They don’t communicate through an appropriate text message system. Getting calls from them about when your vehicle is ready is hit and miss at best. They rely on the service dept employees to call and sometimes they just don’t.Also someone spilled coffee on the floor and I alerted the front desk employees so no one would fall and they didn’t clean the spill. She actually said that’s not my job. I asked for some paper towels so I could clean someone else’s spill and then a nice gentleman that works there cleaned it.Customer service training and a messaging system did the services dept is needed.

If youre thinking about buying a vehicle from this dealership, I offer a suggestion that you try somewhere else first. The first obstacle youll encounter is the ever rude front desk. I have called this dealership a number of times and I havent spoken with a single person who sounded pleasant or cordial and not entirely annoyed that you had interrupted the newest inter-office drama. Unless thats what youre looking for. Our last visit we were in their waiting area and got to listen to the dramatic events of two individuals having a heated argument over one looking at the others phone over their shoulder and how said individual would not put up with another man being so close to his personal space. It should go without saying, but the environment was not at all comfortable or inviting.After purchasing a vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover Bethesda, we were assigned to a service consultant, Joe. Joe refused to return phone calls, was unwilling to follow-up with us after inquiring about desired upgrades and failed numerous times to explain our warranty service coverage or assist in accommodating a convenient date & time to comply with our scheduled services. Our vehicle is still under warranty and I have already had to purchase my own oil and oil filter from their parts department to perform an oil change MYSELF on one instance and then pay this Dealership ~$600 to do an oil change on another when I brought the vehicle in for a tire losing air pressure constantly and the Center consoles screen going black - a known recall that they felt I didnt need to be informed of. All while being covered by Jaguars advertised JAGUAR ELITECARE, BEST-IN-CLASS COVERAGE* New Vehicle Limited Warranty* Joe forgot to mention to me when I brought the vehicle in, an hour and a half drive one way, that if I would wait and bring the vehicle in approximately a week later, the work would have been covered under our warranty. This explained to me by a new service consultant AFTER Joe no longer worked for Jaguar Land Rover Bethesda and we were assigned to said new service consultant. What was the response after explaining all of this? Yeah......that sucks.Their scheduled services are booked 2 months out. In order to meet service recommendations, Jaguar states: A service interval indicator appears every 16,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever occurs first, to tell you when necessary vehicle maintenance needs to be scheduled. In order to receive scheduled vehicle maintenance, you must bring your vehicle to an authorized Jaguar within 1 month or 1,000 miles of the scheduled maintenance interval. Customers who do not bring their vehicle to an authorized Retailer within the required time for scheduled maintenance may not receive the missed interval service. Im not exactly sure how one is supposed to do that if service is not available for 2 months and no accommodations are ever offered.Attached is a picture of the bill I received and the services I paid for, out of pocket, that are allegedly covered under Jaguars ELITECARE, BEST-IN-CLASS COVERAGE. Notice that the bill is for Labor and parts only (no Gas, Oil, Lube) on a vehicle under warranty at Jaguar Land Rover Bethesda.I reiterate, if youre looking for a new Jaguar or Land/Range Rover, I suggest you try to find an alternative dealership. From our experience, you will pay for a beautiful vehicle and thats about it. Your experience from there out will be frustrating and seriously disappointing to say the least. We love our vehicle, but entirely regret purchasing it from Jaguar Land Rover Bethesda.EDIT: I forgot to mention, if you live a decent distance from the dealership and they need to keep your vehicle for a few days to complete repairs...youll have to pay a $44.44 fee for requesting a loaner vehicle so you dont have to walk 50 miles home. I was a bit taken back by one of the morning intake representatives. He was rather young but that’s no excuse because he’s a reflection of the business. From the time I brought my vehicle in for it’s first service, this young man seem to have an attitude. I couldn’t put my finger on it but sometimes you just know. However, everyone else was cordial and respectful. When I came back in the afternoon to pick up my vehicle, there he was again with the same attitude. This time, my 22 y/o son was with me. He said, “dad, what’s his problem? He seem disrespectful towards you, what’s up?” I said perhaps he had one of those days that started off rotten and ended worse. I wanted to think it was that and nothing else in this current climate of inequality (among other things)!

If I could do zero stars I would! DO NOT GO HERE! Their communication to each other and to their customer is AWFUL.My husband and I called to confirm a car was available and once confirmed we said that we would be there in 30 minutes to test drive. Once we arrived they told us the car is sold.We then left and did some more research and found out that they had another car that we liked.Once again we called and they confirmed that this second car is still available and we could test drive it.We drove back for a SECOND time. Once we arrived they took my husbands drivers license and got us ready for the test drive, to only tell us that this car too is sold.

Oil change completed. Car returned hastily cleaned. Windows and interior dirty, floors still dirty. But of course there’s a $25 miscellaneous charge on my oil change for Clorox Covid full cleaning. Right. Second vehicle I bought from the dealer. A lot of staff turnover and they never do a good job. We just have to suffer through them if you live in Montgomery county.

I came to this dealership because I was so disappointed in my prior dealership. This Jaguar dealership was 360 degrees better than that one. Stephan was my salesperson. He was knowledgeable, polite, and worked very hard to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, even to get me out quickly. Every person I dealt with was very nice and helpful. I was very pleased with the entire operation and the transaction. I would highly recommend Jaguar Bethesda and Stephan!

No stars is absolutely the perfect rating for this dealership. The level of treatment I experienced by the team members and management was just so unprofessional. Here is my experience. I sourced a vehicle online and contacted the dealership to make a appointment to test drive the vehicle. Remember the word appointment because it comes back to mean nothing at all. The appointments are important due to covid 19 and social distancing restrictions during the pandemic humanity is facing. I test drive the car on a Wednesday and then returned on Thursday to purchase the vehicle with my fiance. Before finalizing the purchase my fiance test drove another vehicle. She liked it so we decided to purchase that vehicle. That vehicle by the way was more expensive then the original vehicle. While purchasing the vehicle for my fiance she began pointing out that we were not being tended to and that she felt mistreated compared to the other customers being serviced also. I calmed her down and ignored all the red flags. We ended up being the last customer to leave the dealership that night. After driving the vehicle to work the next day my fiance advised me that she did not feel safe in the car. We called the dealership and explained that we would like to return the car but still purchase the original car. The salesperson advised us that the other car was already being sold but we were welcome to return the car on Saturday. We come back on Saturday only to be told that the return could not happen till Monday do to our trade in being processed. Ok no problem we agreed to come on Monday. Saturday evening we get a call from the sales rep advising us that car deal did not go through and that if we are interested we could come purchase the original car. We agreed to come Sunday morning to do the return and then purchase the vehicle. The salesperson advised us to come early. Dealership opens at 11am and we called at 1030 to advise her we were in route. Sounds like a appointment between two persons. She said ok. Upon reaching the dealership my fiance who by the way took off work did not see the vehicle in the lot. We enter the dealership and ask for the sales rep before taking a seat. She did not acknowledged us and neither did anyone else while we sat. She finally approached us and said that someone was testing driving the car we agreed to buy and we agreed to meet in the am for. She then proceeds to tell me that it is first come first serve. That policy overrides appointments. Im so confused. The manager then comes back to advise us that the test driver would be purchasing the vehicle. I asked her again why they would do that when they called us the day before to purchase the vehicle for ourselves. Once again she replied 1st come 1st serve. But technically they called me and made me the priority on Saturday only to do something totally different on Sunday. I advised her that we would not be here if they did not call us on Saturday and that 1030am Sunday morning you knew I was coming. I have never been treated so badly. She then advised us that she still can not process the return for the car we purchased. Once again they had us come to the dealership only to be told that they can not help us. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone and once they process my return i will never return. The corporate office needs to know that the dealership staff is in need of some much needed customer service training and also some of the policies set in place may need to be evaluated. Can I make a appointment or is that option on your website just for show? And also if your sales rep contacts a customer they should be trained to follow through with the offer they contacted me about. I know im just a minority and my finances may not put me into a threshold where I receive respect from your dealership but along with the Covid pandemic all over Americans are fighting for equal rights for all Americans no matter what race,sex, gender, or financial status. Once again I wanted to make someone in power of making decisions aware so changes are made.

Just purchased the 2002 gs300 Lexus over the past weekend. The car runs extremely well and my son and I are so happy with this decision.
