Think you know it all or can trust everyone in this supply chain? Good luck to you. (You’ll need it.)What you need to understand above all is that M&T Marble and Granite Inc. is a sales showroom. The measuring, cutting, and installation services are performed by subcontractors. If there is any breakdown in communication at any point along this supply chain, you will be left with a substandard result and few options to correct it - none of which are appealing.We were shopping for kitchen countertops. We viewed a slab of marble in Korey’s showroom and fell in love with it. Our kitchen cabinets were measured by his subcontractor Miguel - with a laser - so high tech, so impressive. What could go wrong?After installation we realized that two things had gone wrong - irretrievably wrong.1) Somehow our desire for a three inch overhang at the end of our peninsula became a one inch overhang, duly documented on the construction drawing.2) The countertop on the base cabinet on the left side of the range was flush to the edge as we requested, the one on the cabinet on the right side of the range had a one inch overhang - not as we requested. Symmetry is apparently not their thing. This asymmetry was also duly documented on the construction drawing.So if you can not read a construction drawing or even if you can and choose to trust them to get it right without double-checking their work, you could be sorely disappointed.What are the options to correct mistakes like this? To correct the two inch mistake on the peninsula overhang - nothing. There wasn’t enough marble left to recut a piece to the desired size. To correct the one inch mistake next to the range: Sawing with hand tools in our kitchen with damage to our cabinets and backsplash - which they did not recommend - OR - ripping out the offending countertop, again with damage to our cabinets and backsplash, transporting it to Virginia to be recut, transporting it back, and re-installing it. There was a seam with another piece of the countertop, and they assured us that it would not be as good as the original installation.In short there is NOTHING that can be done to correct mistakes like this that will not end in a worse result, i.e. YOU ARE SCREWED.Moral of the story: if you do not have the ability to manage this process from end to end, read their drawings, and double-check their measurements, you may well end up with an unsatisfactory result.But isn’t that what you’re paying them to do?Our recommendation? Look elsewhere.

The sales people were very helpful and accommodated our requests. The workmen that installed our granite were wonderful and the product looks great. We had one small issue with the installation and they quickly worked with us to resolve the situation to our satisfaction. We recommend them highly.

My husband and I searched all over for granite for our new kitchen. I stopped by M&T on a whim and was glad that I did! Korey was amazing- he helped me to select the perfect granite. He spent a lot of time with me and helped me to figure out exactly the granite I would need and like. After I made my decision, I went back several times to M &T make sure the granite I picked would match well with my new kitchen cabinets, appliances, floor, etc. Korey was always happy to help and gave me all the time and advice I needed. The price at M&T was by far the best I had found. When it came time for installation, the installers were prompt, quick, nice and professional. We moved into our house and needed the granite kitchen countertop altered for a new stove. The M&T guys were able to match our very unique black flecked marble perfectly and quickly made the needed changes for a great price.Recent update! I have known the owner now for a couple years and had the opportunity to visit their showroom and witness fist hand the Amazon selection of granite and marble slaps available as well as the process used to cut, polish and deliver product to customers. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

M&T Marble & Granite are a pleasure to work with. I worked directly with a gentleman named Koray. He was very patient with us as we took our time in deciding among their array of styles and options. Weve worked with 3 area marble vendors over the years, and these guys are the best. Also, the North Bethesda showroom is gorgeous.

We hired M&T to install the granite countertops in our new commercial space and we were more than pleased. The complete staff from Nancy whom we met in the showroom, to the manager Korey, to Brock who did our measurements and Juan who does installation, we received nothing but excellent service from start to finish. We are so glad that we chose to work with M&T. They are knowledge, professional and very patient in answering questions and making sure all of your needs are met. We had countertops installed in 7 separate spaces and the results were immaculate. I cant express enough how happy we are that we chose the right company to assist with our job.

Called company about cutting granite to accommodate a new sink install. They dont do that and didnt have any recommendations for someone who does. How are you advertising yourself as a fabricator but you dont provide that service?. Not impressed.

Beware!!!! 2 BAD installs - For the first attempt, the granite counters didnt fit, and it was only realized after most were glued down. The 2nd attempt included a large section of our kitchen counter being mismatched with a similar slab that had a different tone; the seam was horribly visible, but worse was the non-matching counters due to cutting from 2 different slabs. After that, they would not return our calls or emails, and eventually just left everything here. We had to start ALL over with another granite company, GranitePro in Eldersburg, and they were wonderful!

We had laminate countertops which are not only outdated but the ugliest color in the world. Even though our budget was tight I convinced my wife to just see what was out there. We came across M&T and requested a measurement for a quote. They came out and measured, and contacted us to come view their slabs. My wife and I discussed our budget with Koray, he showed us the slabs (believe me one slab is prettier than the next) and helped us select the one we wanted, he worked with our budget. The day of the install was the day the brush fires off of 270 caused major traffic issues, however the installers kept their scheduled time, further more it was the same day 17,000 people in germantown lost power. THEY RIPPED OUT THE OLD COUNTERTOPS, INSTALLED THE NEW ONES ALL WITHOUT POWER. When the lights came on the work they did was second to none.Everyone who I dealt with from M&T was friendly professional. I would recommend them to anyone.
