So I’m reading these reviews and everyone is saying friendly staff however my experience was different. As I was waiting in line the cashier was making small talk with the man in front of me. When she was done I approached smiling. She didn’t greet me verbally or even with a smile. She rang up my items and said they price. As I pulled out my debit card she asked for ID. No problem! When I gave it to her she put on her glasses and stared me down for 10 seconds. (I’m a 33 year old African American). She asked me if I wanted a receipt but at this point I was unsure if I even wanted the liquor. Perhaps the staff is friendly with regulars but the do not seem to fond of unfamiliar faces. I will never return here.

This is my favorite liquor store. The staff is always willing to help you. If they dont have it at their location they will check the other location.

One of two municipal liquor stores in North Branch. The other one is conveniently located near County Market west of I-35, but Im partial this, the original store. Chances are theyve got what youre looking for. Help support your local community - buy local!

First time in the store and it was nice and they had a lot along with reasonable prices.

This is a perfect example of what comes to mind when the older generation talk about how friendly and polite people use to be back in there day and in smaller towns! Well these employees there that day ranged from 23 to 50 (Im guessing ages of course) so very knowledgeable and just a pleasant experience. Thanks guys!!

I came here looking or a place to find some Minnesota Beers. They have a decent selection of beers and liquors. The cashier was friendly though wasnt much help when asked about a Minnesota Bourbon as he said he didnt drink bourbon so couldnt really help me with a suggestions. The other worker, however, was a young man who seemed reluctant to ask if I needed any help with anything when he finally did approach me, then was visibly agitated when I actually had a question for him. He wasnt much help as he stated that he doesnt drink anything made in Minnesota, and clearly was just trying to get our conversation over with. I did buy some overpriced Minnesota Beer that the young man did finally mention, though he had never tried it himself. This four-pack of beers actually had a leak in one of the cans that I did not notice till the next morning when there was a ring of beer around the four-pack on the shelf in the fridge. The workers there were different when we went to return the beers. They exchanged the beers with no problem. These workers were more helpful than the previous guy. This place has a convenient location, typical prices, and decent selection for what I have seen so far in the area. I will continue to return to this place when Im in this area.

Very clean store with home town friendly service.

Great place. Very helpful. I dropped a pack of 18 and it flew all over the store. The owner helped pick it up and I got a new one. Also helped me find another item. Very nice. Will come back

Both sites are awesome!! Always great customer service, whenever Ive been in! The new site is beautiful and in a perfect spot for a one stop shop. Especially when you want to get out in the ice shack or in the boat, watching the big game or playing some games, or just hanging with friends or want a night cap!! Theyve got you covered!!

Decent selection but all but one employee have been nothing but rude. Seems like no one there really cares about being there and asking for recommendations is like pulling teeth. Seems like no one there knows anything about what they sell. Disappointing since I live in town and they are basically the only option.

This establishment is located and easy to get to part of North Branch their prices are comparable I wish liquor stores wouldnt have price Wars like gas stations do with gasoline my brand of beer never seems to go on sale

Most of the employees are very nice here. There were two people working the other day who didnt really know what they were doing. Not sure if they were new? Im all about cutting people a break but I brought in my wine membership card full to get half off of a nice bottle of wine. The wine I chose was $17.99. I was told by the gal that it is only up to $7.99 off so instead of almost $9 bucks off I only get the $7.99. Not a biggie but I was told differently when I signed up and that definitely makes me chose a different brand to buy. Kind of dumb that they tell you half off when you sign up and then if you want to buy a nice $30 bottle of wine or something you cant truly get half price off.

Complete rip off. Almost $13 for a six pack of bent paddle? It’s cheaper to drive to the Twin Cities and purchased your booze at total wine. That’s including gas money and you’re still come ahead.
