Champion Tires and Brakes did a fantastic job replacing my flat tire and I was able get back on the road the same day. The people here are very friendly and were willing to stay a little after hours to help me out since I was a few hours away. Highly recommend!

I Won’t Ever Go Here Again !!! I Went Here To Get New Tires For My Car And The Only Reason I Went Here is Because This Was The Closes Tire Shop Near That Had Acima Financing. I Ordered 4 New Tires From These Guys and For Them To Install Them. I Sat and Watch The Guy Put On The Tires As He Was Putting Them On And when He Thought He Was Finnished and Handed Me The Keys As If It Was Done, I Had To Remind Him To Tighting Up The Lugs, Smh I Shouldnt Have To Tell A Professional How To Do His Job! Days Later As I Started Traveling At Highway Speeds The Car Started Shaking At 60+ Do To The Car Not Being Balance. Moral Of The Story, Don’t Go Here!

Horrible. Will take you for your money. They fixed my daughters car and we kept having to take it back. Forgot to tighten hoses and things. They said AC was great. 2 days and heat not cold air. Took it and said more parts needed. Should have done right. I left and a friend had a mechanic she knew. It was just freon. They just want money and do a horrible job. The lady at front is rude and unprofessional. Never trust them.

Horrible service. the woman at the front desk’s name is Lisa, she has absolutely no customer service. Lisa acts as if she doesn’t want to be there. I understand she doesn’t want to be to work if that’s the case but don’t wear the misery in your face! we bought Four tires, WITH WARRANTY! one tire had a hole in it a week later... they came up with some rule that they couldn’t replace it unless it’s holes in the tire or it caught a nail. next week, my fiancé was driving and an ambulance ran him off the road and glass got caught into the tire. the man they got to put our tires in drilled the tires on entirely too tight so my fiancé and baby had to sit on the side of the road to call roadside assistance and wait for two hours just to get the lug nuts off... we showed up to champions tires and breaks walking into lisa with an attitude telling me to get the man who works in the tire department to give it a look, he looked at it and sat back down and left us sitting there with no updates, no anything. i’m calling the actual owner, by the name of Moe, he’s not answering the phone on purpose and proceeds to block my phone number. I informed Lisa that i was filing a lawsuit and she told me “ take your tire somewhere else “ very unprofessional, i have all of my documentation, as well as my lawsuit is in action. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY SORT OF SERVICE THEY ARE ALL UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!

Im a drive a lot for work and had a huge blowout right by champion. They took care of me quickly, respectfully, in a cost effective manner and theyre open on sunday. Nobody likes unexpected car trouble but I will be back. Great experience. I wasnt even late for my next appointment.

Just called, absolutely horrendous 20 second phone call with the lady upfront. What a joke of a place. Hey im looking for a michelin 205/65/r16, she pretended to ask somebody behind her and in 2 seconds says we dont have that. Hilarious as their website says they have over 900 tires in stock. Did not try to sell another brand or nothing. Clearly she does not need that job.

Thanks to the negligence of champion tires and breaks, an easy fix for a nail in my tire has led to a complete replacement of the tire. The shop failed to mention that plugging a tire is an inadequate way to fix the issue. Upon further research they only increased the likelihood that I blow a tire in the future and because the issue cannot be solved with a patch, the issue has cost me much more than it needed to. In addition to this, the shop fails to keep record of transactions that occur on Sundays which is both illegal and unprofessional.

My daughter had a nail in her truck tire on Saturday. I suggested she take it to Champion Tires because of all the great reviews and they were open on Sunday. Was VERY disappointed to learn afterwards they fixed it with a plug instead of taking the wheel off and patching the tire, which is the only quality way to repair a tire. From what I have learned, plugs are the easy but inferior method and a potential safety hazard. They told her we only plug tires, no patches.UPDATE: After much investigation on USTMA website and talking to other tire shops, I discovered the plug-only method of repair is an inferior and potentially dangerous method of repair. At this point, the tire cannot be repaired correctly using the industry approved Plug+Patch method and the tire must be replaced. In my case, the tires were 3 months old and the replacement cost will be approx $150.

Had a flat tire on a Saturday night at 7 pm and the guys here stayed open an extra 30 minutes to help me fix my tire. Great service, prices and the nicest people. Will be going back for all my tire needs

They did well on my heat and other things I needed and got it all done with no issues in a reasonable amount of time and reasonable price. I came back a second time. And they do detailing and just about every basic car need available from oil changes to brakes to electrical issues. I am not from Charleston and I plan on making them my Charleston auto center. Most honest and fair-priced shop in the Charleston area!! When my alternator stopped working last year, they both ordered the part and replaced it within 2 hours, charging almost HALF of what Wal-Mart and other big names were quoting me. Just last week, we brought in my GFs car with a nail in the tire. They were quick with the fix and I barely paid double figures. Cannot stress enough how great these people are!!

We got a flat tire at 5pm on a Sunday. Went to Walmart where we have a warranty. We were told it was too close to closing and wouldnt help us. We found this place on Google and they were amazing. Said they could put a used tire on to get us where we needed to go. Didnt even have to take the kids out of the car. Took less then 20 mins from pulling in and leaving. They didnt mention the time or how close it was to closing. Just helped us with a smile. Our 6 year old asked if that was a super hero that made our car go up in the air. We said yes and sometimes all it takes to be a super hero is kindness and compassion for others.

Quality at very competitive prices, but how fast they are in comparison to the other big names is great. One of the few times my actual cost was hundreds of dollars cheaper than a pretty fair quote because the mechanics did a little deeper troubleshooting.

Wow!!! I am so impressed with these guys. I somehow got a big screw in my tire. I went to NBT in North Charleston (in front of the Northwoods Mall) and they tried selling me a new tire ($126.00 before installation and taxes), then I went to another tire place. They told me that they could not help me because they were about to close, but that he knew a place where they could plug the tire and referred me to Champion Tires. Scottie helped me and was great. Respectful, friendly and honest. He assessed the tire and told me that all it needed was a plug. After he fixed it in less than 5 minutes I went to pay and the Manager said no fee Just remember us if you need to service your car in the future. I definitely will... I definitely will.

These guys do a great job, are very professional, and always fair. A synthetic blend oil change is $42.99. I’ve had some bad experiences at shops nearby so this place is a gem and they treat their customers well. They’ve never tried to add on any other fees than the price listed on the wall.

Easter weekend, I wake up and the tire is flat. Call AAA, they put on a donut. I called Wal-Mart Auto, 4 hour estimate. I call Champions....no wait. I get there and in 15 minutes, pulled a screw, patched the tire, and put it back on the car. The owner wanted to charge me nothing, but I had no cash to tip. I made him charge $20, so I could tip him and the guy who fixed my tire and saved my weekend $10 each.

I stopped at Champion after I had a blowout on the interstate and Moe was fantastic! He was very helpful and didnt try to push an expensive tire on me that I didnt need. Instead he showed me tires in my price range and discussed the difference. Unfortunately they didnt have the tire I needed but said it could be ordered and there next day. I was just going to buy one of the other tires but instead of just trying to get a sale he told me I would be absolute fine to drive back home on my spare and if I wanted to come back the next day he would be more than happy to help me. I live in Mt. Pleasant so I ended up going closer to home; however, I would not hesitate going back to Champion. Great experience and Ihighly recommend this place! Ask for Moe- he will take care of you!!!!
