I love love love this store. At the other stores I am always being stopped by the every day bums that have been hanging out for years. They dont seem to want to take no for an answer. Its money or cigarettes they want something from you. The East Montague store doesnt have this problem and I can go in and shop and get out easy peasy. Keep it up guys.

Family Dollar on East Montague Avenue in North Charleston is a well managed and convenient Family Dollar location when you need basic items all in one location. The store is well organized and it is easy to find exactly what you are looking for quickly when you are in a rush. They even have alcoholic beverages if that is in your list. The staff here is very helpful if you need any assistance.

This store is one of my favorite Family Dollar stores. The staff is friendly and they always have great music playing in the background.

They had beach towels and my family and I needed beach towels in a pinch on the way to the beach. Perfect place for a dollarstore.

Newer store, Friendly staff, store looks great, everyones working hard to stock the store. Great deals, especially during clearance Its close to home!

Update: This location is back to where it started. Management sure needs to be mindful about what kind of people they hire. I witness a cashier ask a customer a very inappropriate question. I couldnt believe the ignorance that came out of her mouth. A couple of days ago, I was in line and the cashier was busy texting on her phone. There was one instance that one cashier had all her children in the store with her while she was working running around. Corporate really needs to get on it and get these sorry workers out of there.

You can buy groceries. But most if it is junk food. However, there are a few healthy choices there. Also, if you need some things around the house, its an easy place to grab those things.
