The mask police work at this store. Spineless manager and sales associate.The store up the road was mask-free and had excellent customer service. A very knowledgeable associate helped me quickly and efficiently. I needed a custom color that was used in a rental I’m living in. I found out from this associate that I needed to go to store #702837 on Ashley Phosphate.When I walk up to the door, there was a customer who said he’s been a client for 20 years at this store having an argument about masks with the manager and an associate.Then the associate starts including me in the conversation even though someone else was already helping me.How dare an employee lecture me about masks, let alone what’s good for my health, when I just came from a store that was mask-free, including all the employees. I asked questions about why the mask policy is different between different stores (a totally legitimate question) and the manager was rude to me about it!The only reason I dropped $51 on a gallon of paint was because I had to have exactly this color mixed at this specific store to match the work I had already done, but had run out of paint.Masks are a joke. We all know it so stop treating us like idiots. Sherwin Williams employees have a higher health risk from inhaling paint fumes 40 hours a week than catching COVID-19. But it’s all science, right?Shame on Sherwin Williams. I will never purchase paint from this store again.

Sherwin-Williams Paint Store on Ashley Phosphate Road in North Charleston is a well managed Sherwin-Williams location that is conveniently located and easy to get the paint and supplies that you need for your project. I have had a really good experience every time I have shopped here. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable and make everything very easy.

For individuals on a budget, highly recommend going when they have 40% (offered couple times a year). Really great paint. Also ensure you talk to someone who actually has experience painting. Only complaint. Why would SW hire anyone with no knowledge?

I had come earlier in the week to purchase a paint and was giving the wrong one unfortunately, I came by today to switch the paint for the right one, an employee by name CJ will not do it. Was funny was the paint was never used, all am asking was give me the right paint. He said i should come back the next day, I told him not happening, I did not drive 20 miles only to be told to comeback the next day. He said he had to reach out to whomever sold the paint to me to hear his side of the story, but because he couldn’t reach the person he said for me to come back next day which is a Sunday. The argument went on and on before he finally decided to switch the paint. What made me so upset was, he made it seem like he was doing me favor by changing the paint. This is crazy, I told him to his face that today marks the last day I will be seen in Sherwin Williams. Highly recommend nobody going there

I was given advice for amounts to buy based on the room dimensions. There were things suggested that were very helpful. And the paint was brought to my car, which was amazing as I am pregnant.
