I enjoyed ever sugary bite of their world famous praline and wife enjoyed her key lime pie gelato. Bonnie went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable and fun, which helped soften the sticker shock.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bear Claws. Been my favorite for years. Stopped at the one in Georgia years ago and found them along River Street. Seen others there along that street, but nowhere as good

They say they gave the worlds best pralines. Well I challenged them today. I havent been around the world but I have had the best from New Orleans. The chocolate ones are my favorite and not many stores have them. They normally only have the plain ones. Well yall met the challenge to compare to New Orleans. So I would give you the 5 stars and 2 👍👍 great job.

These pralines!! I walked in to get some salt water taffy and fell in LOVE with the freshly made pralines. So so so good. Will need to get more for the drive home.

They have Great Praleins! Their salt water taffy is fresh and can be bought by the pound. They have a lot of other candies by the pound. We go there every year.

Best peanut butter fudge in town

We usually visit Myrtle Beach in the off-season (just before spring break). There arent a lot of people so places like River Street Sweets want you to come and try free samples. We tried the chocolate praline sample (I think). Delicious. We bought some. I tried their cinnamon pecans. Not so delicious, but I appreciated them opening a bag so that I could taste one before I bought a whole bag. Great service. Thank you!

I just had a terrible experience at this location. My family and I were waiting to make a purchase. We were behind a family with a large,complicated order. At the time, we were the only other customers in the store. We were waiting almost 20 minutes. There were 2 women at the register. One was ringing up the family ahead of us. The other person was standing next to her. A woman got on line behind us, then the woman standing next to the cashier came and rang up the person behind us. When that customer left, I let the woman at the second register know that we had been waiting for 20 minutes and we were next and that she had skipped us. She smirked and said and?. I informed the manager, who apologized and offered to ring us up. Of course we left without making a purchase. There is nothing in this store that cant be purchased at the other 3 candy stores at Barefoot landing. I can promise you that we will never purchase anything from this place again. It might be worth mentioning that my family is of mixed ethnicity, the second cashier is white and the woman she helped ahead of us was also white.What an unfortunate end to our stay at Myrtle Beach. We have come here 10 summers in a row but am now rethinking our 2019 summer plans.

Very nice place with friendly service and great candy

The sweets are amazing however the staff left a bitter taste. My daughter went to try a free sample and the baker embarrassed her and accused her of already having a mass amount of samples. My 9 yr old tried to explain it wasnt her but the lady still called her a liar. She didnt realize I was there the whole time. She made my daughter cry, not because she couldnt have the sample but because she was called a liar. I will be contacting there office as well.

As a Savannahian, I was excited when I visited Myrtle and found a River Street Sweets. I very much looked forward to fresh taffy after an excellent supper. But this location is terrible. It closes early, the staff are grumpy and ignore customers, and they dont even pull fresh (soft) taffy. Dont waste your time stopping here!

We walked in and they didnt offer a sample but they offered the next family a sample. (We are a mixed family) Then there was a family on one register and the other was empty but there was a free employee then when a different family came in the free employee checked them in even though we were already there.
