2nd Chance Home Furnishings is a great place to find things for your home. I was helped by the owner who was very helpful. If you get a chance, stop by and look, you wont be disappointed.

We went in the store and found a chair and ottoman for sale with no tag saying sold or on hold on it. We liked the chair and put it on hold to be picked up the next day. When we returnrd they told us there was a mix up and the chair had been sold. Not a very good way of doing business..We received a call from the owner regarding the mix up on the chair and ottoman. We were able to purchase the chair and ottoman with apologies. Thank you again. We do love the store and hope this never happens again

Mary, The owner of 2nd Chance Home Furnishings, came to our home on a Tuesday (5/4/21) and gave a price for a dining room table and hutch set to be on consignment. Mary said she could not pick up the furniture until 5/13/21. My husband called Mary on 5/12/21 to confirm she was picking up the furniture. She stated Cannot pick it up until after 5/18/21. Again no response. So my husband left a message this morning (5/20/21) asking her to call us back by 4:00 p.m. It is now 6:30 and no call back!!!!!!Is this a business for her or a hobby?Extremely disappointed in this Company. Very poor communication with the customersI want to tell you that Mary called me the next day and Was very apologetic for the mix up.They have made up for the mix up and cut her commission. They were here today, Saturday, May 22. 2021 to pick up the dining room set.We r very happy with their response. I will use them again and shop at their store and tell my family and friends how well they took care of us. Thank you Mary & Ray for all you did for us.2nd Chance should be your First Choice!

Today Friday, January 15 I walked in to the store to mention to the owner that there is a bass outside their store and my friend accidentally tripped over it because she couldn’t see it at night and it’s on the walkway and it’s black And unmarked. The base looks like it’s supposed to hold a sign and it didn’t have a sign on it during the day when I went into the store. The lady behind the counter who probably is Karen was rude and obnoxious to me told me that maybe I shouldn’t been drinking! I wasn’t drinking and I was visiting the restaurant next-door. I would not recommend a store to anyone they are horrible people to say something like that and not even be concerned about me or my friend who tripped over it. Clearly on the walkway and it doesn’t belong there

Wonderful find!! My husband and I just moved to North Port and are so thrilled we stumbled across this store. We found a BEAUTIFUL dining room table and wine cabinet, both very sturdy and excellent quality. Customer service was also top notch. We highly recommend!

The quality of product and service are top-notch.Leo, the buyer, has an eye for quality. The pieces he buys are, in many cases, like new. It would appear that he buys a small fraction of what he looks at, and cherry picks his merchandise.The deliveries have been perfect. They work to select convenient times and the men are there ~exactly~ when theyre supposed to be, without fail. Tom and his partner are quick, efficient and careful to avoid damage to the merchandise and your home.Prices are very reasonable considering both the quality of merchandise and the no doubt considerable time it takes to move each piece at least twice.Their stock rotates quickly, so if you like a piece or three, talk to them now! Do not risk it because it could easily be gone later in the afternoon. They are very fair and will work with you to ensure a positive outcome.Thanks you guys!
