Convenient spot. I just moved into a new place and bought kitchen supplies for under 20 dollars its definitely the spot to go if you have limited funds. The staff was nice I would say they could use more help and I would have liked to seen a more upbeat atmosphere.

Very neat and quiet, not to mention loads of different stuff! The staff are always friendly to myself and my son. I lived in Charlotte county for years and never knew about this location until the one in Port Charlotte closed and my sister told me about it.*Edited* I also want to include my experience in the meat department. MANAGERS SPECIAL! My first time EVER cooking steak and my man said it was perfect!

In the mood for some beef? We try to stop in at least once a month for the $5 a pound for T-bone steak sale. Theyve got the usual assortment of grocery store items too. Bring your own bag, and a quarter for the cart.

Prices are labeled wrong, no customer service. Cashier never said a word to me as I was checking out. Decent if you want things cheap but I personally wouldn’t trust half of what’s on the shelves.

Good store but what I would change is the layout of the store and make it more organized.

I liked the store and its convenient to go there for me. The style of it is similar to Aldi. The cashiers always seem friendly when i go which is a plus. The selection isnt as great as the bigger chains but the price is really good for most things. Normally I get my groceries picked up from another store but Ill definitely keep going here to get items during the week as needed.

Was talking to my neighbor about how I missed the Save a Lot in Port Charlotte. She said one opened in North Port, so I had to check it out. Very nice and new. Found some nice deals on poultry. They dont have the selection of produce that the other store had.

Its similar to Aldis! A nice clean and neat store. Wide isles, fresh produce,🍌🍊🍒🍋🍉🌽🥕🥔🥒🥦🥑🍅 fresh meats🥩🥓🧀🍗 & dairy. Items are easy to find. Friendly staff! Bring your own bags or you can buy the plastic bags for .10¢ each. Paper bags are .5¢. Oh, and another thing, lots of room for parking. Bus stop out front of parking lot. 😍 I bought the bakery blueberry muffins, absolutely, 💖 them !

First time there. Started off you have to put a deposit on a cart for a quarter. So they are not sanitized. Then they charge you .03 cents for bags. Some sales were good, but watch out for off brands. Also employees don’t wear mask. If you search you can find good prices.

Save-A-Lot is a big place to shop its not too expensive and the stuff is good save you money and you want to buy groceries or the Save-A-Lot

Just a few short blocks from my house which is very nice and If you try to save a penny every way possible then save a lot is a nice place to start with your grocery shopping!

After the Englewood location closed this became my go to grocery. The meat department deals draw me in and I fill up my cart with everything else to support the place. Seriously good prices on ads, its not choice or prime but thats exactly what I want, cheap good meats not overpriced because its prime triple price quality determined by someone else.This week Tbone steaks are 3.99 a lb (half what Publix has) boneless chicken breasts 1.69 (half Publix) pork shoulder .89 a lb (just crazy)... Doesnt matter your prefrence if you like shopping smart SUPPORT THIS STORE. Im a low and slow BBQ fanatic and I dont know what ill do if this location closes as well.

Save A Lot has really good bargains

They are the reason I shop at Publix! Watch out for a forbidden button on the key pad, if you push the yes button accidentally, the cashier tells you it will take 5 minutes to reboot. Left, and went to Publix, people greeting me, giving me a cart, thanking me. I will pay the extra money for that kind of service!

More than half of the meat in the meat case was brown or on the verge of going bad. Theyre frozen shrimp is from India no thank you.

They have good meats. Sometimes better than wal-mart! You can do a lot of your shopping there because it is clean and convenient! Its great!

This Save A Lot is the best one Ive been to. Super clean and very well organized. Prices are great and a great selection to choose from. Never too busy and staff is wonderful.

Totally was not prepared to pay a quarter just to use a cart.. Do not see the point of it cause anyone can still walk off with it.. What a pain..what would happen if no one had a quarter or even a dollar to get change.. Then they could not shop there. Thats not fair.Store is small but okay not a big selection on items.. Do miss the one in Venice.

What happened??? I left Northport in March. All the employees were happy friendly and courteous. I just returned today and their attitude was that of the people from the dollar store across the street. So sad. That being said the store is clean and organized. Still a good deal for shopping. But someone in management should check into this. It usually starts at the top, poor managers, poor pay, or both.

Hardly had any sale items even on first day of sale. One cashier and she was slow and made comments about items I was buying.

Store is very clean. Vegetables are fresh. Ive bought cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers there, a few times since they opened, and they were of great quality, and priced less than other local stores in the area.Im glad that this store finally came to North Port. I find a lot of their generic brands are just as good as the name brands. Some are even better.

New cooperate store just opened in the area, stopped in to peruse, you have to be a savvy consumer to know a good deal here! The meats looked pretty fresh and prices were fairly moderate, had some competitors beat. Store is neat and clean.

Very poor customer servicecservice. I called to verify store hours at 9:39 pm. They said open until 10:00 pm. I told them Ill be right there. I arrived 9:44 pm. Doors were locked. Staff saw me at door, and turned noses up and wouldnt let me buy the 3 items I went for.

Lower end grocery store. But it is a brand new building and everything inside is clean and well stacked. They have a little bit of everything from frozen food, meat, fresh fruits and veggies on the outside walls and all the canned and boxed foods in the middle. They even have beer. Carts require a quarter to use that comes out when you return them. And they charge extra for bags at checkout. So bring your own. This is similar set up to aldi stores just lower quality. Not that its bad. Just made for a different target audience.

One star is too many... 16 people ahead of me in line to check out. 1 register open...no body sanitizing carts and charging 25 cents to use one... after 20 minutes in line, I left my cart, filled with groceries and went to another grocery store.

Its not a big savings, but they have the basic foods and conveniently located next to LaCasa modular home park.Store responded immediately to my review, so Ive added a star for their attention.

This save a lot is so much nicer than the usual save a lot . Well organized, really great produce area. So much soulection really a great presentation apond entering the door . Great prices and they have just about everything you could be looking for. Great frozen food aisles. They carry some name brands as well. Like Hellmans mayonnaise 3 dollars and change for the 30 oz. Size. As usual the employees are very helpful and friendly.

1st time in this store...prices have really gone up over those on the East Coast. Cashier was very pleasant & the store was clean & well stocked.
