Very clean and well stocked. The employees were polite and knowledgeable about their store and work areas. Great deli meat and cheese selection with multiple brands and styles to choose from. Their chicken tenders are absolutely delicious! The produce selection was all fresh looking with any off looking kind marked for clearance.

Today at 3:15 cashier on isle 4 was the most rudest and nasty cashier I have ever seen. I enformed the manager that did not really seem t care. This cashier threw merchandise back at the customer behind me. told another employee that was working to go get her lettuce and make it a good one because she likes a good BLT. Never have I ever experienced such outrageous behavior.

Winn Dixie has the best sales. I like to buy meat there as they have an awesome butcher on site. Hell take the time to do special cuts for you.A big thank you shout out to the manager who helped me with my husbands birthday dinner 🍲. Winn Dixie North Port has very friendly staff. They always try to be very helpful. There were a few items out of stock on the weekend before Thanksgiving.The downfall seems to be the deli. It is closed by 5 pm when the store is open until 9pm. The only thing in the hot case was fried chicken. The same department has the bakery. The cookies are wonderful. Lately they have been mislabeled and over baked. It is a holiday coming and there were no pumpkin pies. It was a featured item.At the checkout there was a very polite cashier, Cameron. He packed my groceries very carefully and placed all cold items together. He is an asset to WD.I am a loyal customer but I would love to see the deli/bakery to be brought up to the high standards of the rest of the store.

Have everything I needed and good store with lots of deals but I had issues with getting bonus points and long lines as well. My cashier liked to throw my items down to the bagger. Probably should be careful so stuff doesnt break.

The smell in here is rough. Every time I have been here I get a headache about 5 min in. Its not the staff, they are great. The place is dirty, like health code dirty. I realized where my headache was stemming from. The amount of mold on their air system is shocking. Store is overall gross.

Matt the so called new manager is RUDE makes it a hostile toxic environment for his employees the way I seen and heard him talk to the young kids that work there is very unprofessional and weak of a man that’s not a manager or a role model he makes people feel unsafe and uncomfortable to be around he’s a poor manager with very rude communication skills Those young employees do not deserve to be spoken to in that manner I will be going to corporate about him!!!!! There are young sweet teens that work there very pleasant and very sweet and for him to speak to them and treat them the way he does is wrong!!!!!

Dirty, no it was FILTHY!!!! Man in deli was not wearing gloves & drug his arm over & through the food items in the case. This store needs an IMMEDIATE overhaul or the health dept. needs to close it. I will report this place to them & hope for improvement.

Just returned back home to SW Florida after a two year stint in NYC. I am so pleased to be back at my little country Winn Dixie! Everyone is so happy and patient and helpful. After being in a battleground of 11 million people, I am in love. My store has the best wine selection! The best meats! You can keep the city nonsense. This store has everything I need or want. Great prices too!!!

I always enjoy shopping here. Find lots of sales, love the points and prices are competitive! And they are the only place that carries the scratch pad my cat uses. The only one shell use!!! Thank Goodness for Winn Dixie!

I went there to get some drinks, the store is always very organized and clean. Saves you some time if you live north of there and dont want to go all the way up to (wm). Also it is less crowded which is definitely a bonus! Plenty of parking.

Store needs an update, its old. Not like any other Winn Dixie. Cant locate things as easy in this store.Produce is the worst!! They rarely restock, fruits and veggies are rotten, the produce guy is extremely rude. I live a mile from this North Port store but will drive to Englewood or Port Charlotte Winn Dixie to do my business. This store makes the Winn Dixie name look really bad.

Store looks old. Definitely need a reno. Customer service is lacking. Bought $260 worth of groceries, and the cashier just watched my kids and I bagged everything by ourselves. He looked like he did not want to be there. Watch out for expired products. Bought some yogurts and 5 of them were expired 3-4 days ago.

Majority of your meat products are excellent and the price is good.I do get most of what I want and some I have to go else where.The staff is polite and helpful.

Small store and don’t always restock as often as I would like to see. Employees are very friendly and helpful. This is the only grocery chain I use.

Winn-Dixie supermarket is an excellent place to shop especially when there are sales. Place is nice and clean and fully stocked. And the customer service is great.

I frequent this store and they are always friendly and ready to help. Very outdated b it its ok, I can find pretty much anything I want here and they always have great sales. Oldie but a goody.

The store was kind of quiet today at 1130am. Endcaps were displayed nicely, the store was organized well. The current hanging sale tags were straight, centered and correct. The shelves are faced and fronted, very few holes. It was a good experience.

The store has one of the best employee crews I have experienced in a grocery store. They always have great specials on item people actually want . The meat department is on point as is the deli . So I ask you why go anywhere else?

It is close by, thereby convenient.Usually I get what I came in for.Fresh produce here is a bit iffy...I have thrown out full price fruit 1 out of 4 times due to inferior quality, and no selection outside of the staples.Meat continues to be good.Coffee always more than fair for the higher end stuff.Only a fool would buy coffee at Walmart.The employees are sweet and helpful

Joined their SE Rewards club a couple years back when I took my elderly aunt shopping for her weekly groceries, though way more overpriced than Publix, with their rewards club card, certain purchases were fairly reasonable. Went in today to purchase their 8 piece fried chicken, which Id purchased on occasion a few times before, went to check out and handed the cashier the rewards card after she scanned the box of chicken, good thing I looked at the cash register, it was displaying a $8.85 tally after she scanned the card, needless to say didnt purchase it, I went to Publix instead. Their 8 piece fried chicken had just come out the of the fryer and was, surprise, markedly cheaper.

This is an older Winn-Dixie but does a good job of presenting a fresh place with generally happy employees. My only criticism is the upkeep of the parking lot and how garbage seems to swirl around. The entrance just inside the Winn-Dixie could be a whole lot cleaner and presentable. But you can get through the store fairly quickly and it seems like there is always somebody there to answer your questions

Found what I needed, checked out quickly, and was on my way. No snags.

Mom went there recently for groceries. They have had issues in the past with foods spoiling easily when we just buy it. We recently just bought chicken and fruit cups, all went bad in 2 days when they shouldnt have. Not liking this store anymore.

First impression antiquated. The produce section is smaller than my bedroom in the selection was left wanting.I was glad that they offered sanitizing wipes for the cart just based on the overall appearance and feeling.The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the locations of products but the overall selection of products at this Winn-Dixie was left wanting.One of the products that I was looking for was face to the front of the Shelf but the product itself was out of date. An out-of-date product on the Shelf is one of the things that will drive me crazy and leave me to never return to that store.This year of You by no means should reflect poorly on the staff theres only so much you could do to polish a poop.Its at all possible I would advise you to refrain from going to the store. Maybe that will either cause them to close it down, which would suck for the employees or, they can invest a little bit of money into it the stock, and have a much better shopping experience.Publix is right down the road. You cant get much better then Publix.

Store #0662 in North Port. They try but it is in dire need of a redux and restocking. If it gets remodeled and someone puts money into it they may draw a crowd but Im not a fan of this location. The employees are nice but Im sure they would like a redux as well.

Went in to get a sub from the deli- Saturday at 3pm. I had to wait 25 minutes for them to unwrap and slice the meat for my sandwich to start with. They put the meat on the sub roll and began to wrap it closed. I asked if I could get mayo on it. the answer was we dont have any mustard ? I asked....no again. they didnt have any. Can I get lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and onions ? no, we dont have anything like that either I was toldWHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU OFFER SANDWICHES IF YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO PUT ON THEM ? No signs stating you were out of food in the deli at 3pm on A Saturday. THIS LOCATION IS A DUMP AND A JOKE. Stay away.

It could be a nice store but it is always so dirty inside. I bought a $30 hair product. the pump was snapped in two, couldnt use it. Returned it and they put the defective product right back on the shelf. Think if they had better management they could turn it around. they have a good location.

Many shelves not well stocked. Deli had no prepared cold items. Englewood stores are much nicer.

This place has just about any food you could want. The prices are a little high. There are good prices on sale items.

Went there to get a few things and a couple pieces of fried chicken for lunch from the deli counter. Stood there for about 3-4 mins with 3 people back there and no other customers. So I left and went to Publix. 1 star because the chicken looked good. Too bad I couldnt of had any and you lost out on a sale.

First dont let my google name fool anyone. Im a retired NYC firefighter & my wife is a retired nurse. I shopped this store ONLY as a convenience because I live 1/4 mile from it for basic items & lottery. Now, IDK how or why anyone would compare this dump store to Walmart for prices, meats, fresh produce, & a superb inventory with AWESOME STAFF, & or to Publix for great quality & MUCH MORE. The produce is nasty & weathered. The meat at times is tingy & slimy to the touch. The ground beef was GREEN in the center of the meat & smelled like methane gas when we opened the package. The cashiers are unfriendly & you just try to find that male manager who hides in his office for supervision. When the lines form, he doesnt assign baggers or open other registers, & when we tried to complain to him, he got perturbed & walked away from my wife as she was trying to convey our concerns. At that point, weve had it with this store. We now ONLY shop at either Walmart for great prices & publix when we want great quality. The ONLY reason I gave it one star is because google would allow me to post this HORRIBLE REVIEW without the one star. Dont take only my review, just read the others & youll understand why.
