By far the best Firestone shop in RI. Always helpful and honest. Sometimes there’s a long wait because they’re busy, but that’s because they do good work. If you can make an appointment ahead of your visit that will help you avoid waiting. I’ve probably been to every Firestone in the state and this one is my pick.

It took 2.5 hours to do an oil change. When I picked my car up, the interior was covered in oil. The steering wheel, the door, and the window control. I have a 2021 and I am pretty disgusted how dirty they returned by brand new car to me.It took three car wipes to get the oil off the steering wheel, and you can see the oil smeared on the door handle.I would not return there for service.

This Firestone dealership is the best around by far. From the manager to the mechanics you get the job done and you get it done at a fair price. I had fuel injectors installed recently more than I thought I needed to do and they actually gave me a competitive price compared to even the other Firestones and local auto repair shops. If you have a problem with your car you wont go wrong by driving it in. Youll be in good hands

I scheduled my appointment for an oil change on the app. It wasn’t a long wait at all. Especially for a Saturday. I believe it was the manager who assisted me. He’s always kind and pleasant to interact with.

Always good work. I ask if I need anything else everytime as I put alot of miles on my car for work and am there often. They never try to take advantage or find things to fix if they need fixing. Would give 6 stars if that was a thing!! If you ever have any problems, talk to Mike.

Brought my van in to have an engine diagnostic done on it due to it having issues driving but no engine light on. Got a call back saying the engine threw alot of codes but that they needed someone else that wasnt there to read them so that they wouldnt fix the wrong problem and could they keep it for an extra day till the guy came in. Today I call them to find out if there was an update to my van and was told that they ran another diagnostic test and that no codes came up and now they have no idea what is wrong with it, that my car is a mystery machine and that I need to come and get it and bring it to the dealer. I cant go and get it due to the fact that I cant drive it without it dying on me and cant risk being stuck with my 4 kids on the side of the road till I can find a ride to get it and try to get it home

Very very very sexist. charging me extra for an oil change and then I left brought my dad and they told him it was 20$ cheaper. Also their mechanics don’t treat your car well got an oil change and now there is stuff wrong with my engine and hoses

Loved Firestone NS until today. They decided underneath my girlfriends car was too rusty for them to do an oil change.Had it done locally instead, I honestly should have done the local thing from the jump.Besides todays error in judgement on the mechanics end they have been decent.Experiences like this change paying customer minds.Switched it to a 4 for now

Without going into all of the details, I just wanted to give you all a heads up to think twice about doing any needed auto service/repairs at Firestone Complete Auto Care in North Smithfield, RI (at least at this current moment in time). I was convinced by the service manager and technition that replacing this and that would fix a very specific problem when it was something else all along. What makes this so frustrating is that I had suspected the exact cause of the issue all along and discussed this with the manager who wrote up my work order, from the very beginning. Unfortunately, they choose to lead me down another path, fixing and/or replacing items that were not contributing to the problem and causing me to needlessly spend over a $1,000 above and beyond the actual issue, which, get this, turns out to be exactly the very thing that I suspected. A $150.00 part that this service center had previously replaced in my vehicle a few years ago and was under a lifetime warranty!They swindled me big-time! 😡

I went there for a left rear tire repair.Instead I got charged for right rear tire repair.Next day my tire istil flat lolWen I confront the employee he said that they may remove the tire and noticed that a is not flat they probably put some type repair thats why I got charged.I found that they not honest at all.Very disappointed 😞

Brought my car in for the mounting and balancing of four new winter tires (purchased via Tire Rack and shipped direct to this Firestone location) and a four wheel alignment as well. Dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up in the evening (tire shops are always slammed when winters around the corner - please account for this). Tires are balanced perfectly and the cars alignment is dead on. Awesome prices. Couldnt ask for more. Thanks guys!

Called to make an appointment to have a nail removed from my tire and Mike had me come right in. Repaired tire and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. Swift customer service very much appreciated.

Always been happy for general repairs. Battery, tires, even had an in-the-tank fuel pump replaced. Fair prices - prompt service - and no BS.

I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 9:00am. At 9:35, my vehicle was still in the parking lot with no sign of it moving anytime soon. I found “Mike” and inquired about when my car would be brought in for service and he replied, “you’ll have to be patient. Can’t you see there are a bunch of people in the waiting room?” This was not an acceptable response in my eyes so I simply asked for my keys. When he grabbed my keys he did it very abruptly and unprofessionally.I have NEVER seen such unprofessional behavior in a customer service environment. I have been a customer at this location for years and maybe “Mike” was having a bad morning but he should know to leave his issues at home and not to take them out on customers.I don’t think Mike is the manager as he doesn’t seem to have any type of managerial skills but nonetheless he should know how to treat people.And if you asked the others in the waiting room with me, I am sure they would agree as his tone and demeanor towards everyone this morning was rude and condescending.Mike, there are many much more qualified people out there looking for work. Clean up your act before someone else takes your job. You aren’t as special as you think.

Went in for an oil change and had john recommend a diagnoses i was concerned that something was wrong turns out its nothing but a sensor and on top of the friendly service they also topped off my fluids at no charge witch was an awesome surprise when i went to buy wiper fluid and didnt even need it... Will definitely come back thanks again Firestone..

Dangerous people. Bought tires few years ago and replaced 2 early June. Car needed drivers side fender liner. Tried to remove tire to make it easier install liner. One lug was difficult to remove and I decided to put up with the tire. I thought the lug might be cross threaded and needed replacing. As lug tightened, the lug stud snapped off. I called Firestone about this because a short time ago my car was in the shop and I knew the tire breaker had a tool on that tire. The guy I spoke to said it was my fault - he said I should have driven the car in when I think its better to have four out of four lugs, rather than three out of four. It would have good of them to warn me of an impending problem. I suspect being on the ball is not an company policy. When I replaced tires a few years ago, I asked them to reserve the best old tire as a spare. Never happened. This last time, I emphasized my insistence for a spare - this time they complied - they achieved 50% - theyre coming up! These people have only one attitude - numbers and that makes them dangerous because their interest is more toward the customers money and giving lip service to customer safety.

I went here today for a state inspection. I have my car modified and its low. They took it and took very good care of my car. The lady in the front was very nice and helpful. My wait time was quick maybe about 20 minutes. I will definitely recommend this place. Will go back for a oil change soon. Prices are very reasonable to.

Went for 4 new tires. I knew I would need brakes but I could not afford it at the moment. The manager said he wanted the vehicle to be safe to drive for me and my children, and worked with my budget to be able to get the brakes done too. He expressed his understanding as he was raised by a single mother as well and knew it was difficult. He was extremely accommodating and friendly, and Id highly recommend this facility.Im very thankful for the help both for the bad weather this winter and as the holidays are approaching. Knowing I needed 4 new tires and brakes right before the holidays was super stressful as a single parent, and being able to stay within my budget and get both replaced lifted a huge weight of stress off of my shoulders. Arrived for appointment made online approximately 10 days before. They did not have the correct tire. Was offered upgrade. Those tires had been mislabeled. Went to work, they will get tires and let me know. I called before closing. Found out they were in. Told them I would be in first thing in the morning. That person was very reluctant to let me come in, even suggesting Sunday (this was Friday). I had to be much more insistent than I would have expected, given the circumstances. I was happy with the subsequent experience. The tires are installed (with the upgrade, thank you), and the alignment checked and tweaked at NC. My advice to corporate is to make sure your service centers read and prepare for the online appointments. If they had, the tires would have been there. Incoming inspection would help as well.

I regularly go here for oil changes. Since its more expensive to do them yourself now. Good pricing, generally has a coupon or two that they will apply automatically if you are a repeat customer. As for regular repairs, they take some convincing to use your parts, etc. Local shops for things like resealing oil pans, will be better, they generally charge $500.

Polite and got the job done in the time he said. One thing that i noticed waiting, he called people when their car was ready. Not many people do that, you always have to call them.

Today I have an appointment at 10am and Ive been told it will be 1 1/2 hours until they can get my car in. That would almost be OK if they actually had a place for me to wait. There are 4 chairs and 8 people waiting. Im told even though the give you an appointment that its first come first serve, so I recommend to anyone to get there as soon as you can.

Sales people were professional. They installed my tires, tpms sensors, and tie rods. The wandering feeling in my steering is fixed.

Price for tires and brakes was only ok even after their coupons. Added on road hazard protection to the tune of $65 without asking me. Best part was they were open Sunday, had a 12:30 appointment but they only started on my car at 2:45.

Jeff always is fair and makes sure things are done quickly. It’s nice to trust your mechanic. Good prices, amazing work. I won’t get anything serious done anywhere else.

Just replaced my tires a month ago and had a flat. I know next to nothing about cars, and they could have picked a new, expensive tire and I would have just had to go with it. Instead, they checked the old tire anyway, patched it and my bill was a fraction of what I was expecting. Friendly, trustworthy people.

Great job to a very, very busy team today. George on his 2nd day and Lexi his trainer were very cordial. The manager was awesome to keep things moving without a stressful atmosphere.

They did a good job on my oil changes and decently priced. but if you need something specific done or not done, you need to remind them several times to communicate with each other about your request or it will be overlooked.

This is the worst location for Firestone ever. I have dealt with this company for many years in multiple states and this is the worst. Their warranty doesn’t cover labor so I ended up spending 300 dollars on a mistake they made. When I told them I wouldn’t come back they said fine. They have so much business it appears they prefer to lose customers

Took 6 1/2 for a wheel balance. When I called the day before they said it was a40 minute job. Made an appointment at 10am and had to call at 4p to ask the status on my truck. Atleast another 15 -20 minutes to finish. Work is good but you need to plan an entire day to schedule anything. The work is good just takes forever

Most unprofessional mechanics Ive ever met. Agreed to do a job working on my sensors the day of they tell us its not the problem that to go to a dealer have it diagnosed and theyll reimburse me. You guys are too lazy to do the job yourselves. Only person in the place that has a somewhat ethical way of doing things is Mike and even then doesnt make up for the lazy unprofessional mechanics

Called ahead for to have tire repaired /replaced that half a screw in the tire . was told they could get me in right away. I was less then 2 miles away. Showed up told them I had an appointment to get to I was willing to remove the tire and leave it while I drove on the spare I was assured it would only be 5 min before car was taken in. 25 min later I was asking again. Told I was next 10 min later car was taken in. I am now told we are replacing both rear tires. Company car so that doesnt bother me what is more aggravating is being told a totally inconsistent time frame... So annoying. I have customers waiting on me as well now I have to explain to my customers why I am later then I Lead them to believe. Currently as I write this I am at the 1hr mark.

The employees here are rude, slower than imaginable, and incompetent. There needs to be a 0 star option just for this company.

I can’t say enough positive things about this group of mechanic and the manager always takes great care of me and my vehicle as well. They’ve done my breaks in the past and when I’ve heard clicking in the wheels they’ve replaced them on two separate occasions completely free of charge. This past week I ran into an issue with an oil plug that won’t come out while getting an oil change. and instead of telling me they can’t help me they took my car for an afternoon to make sure if they could get the job done. Within two hours they took care of the issue and never charge me a penny on top of the unbelievably great service and courtesy they gave me a coupon for a free oil change. I’ll never go anywhere else they’ve always taken great care of me. Thank you guys for all that you do

Last time I come here. Make an appt for oil change at 11 a.m. two days in advance. Show up 15 minutes early on 9/7/19 and didnt get called upon until 11:04. Asked how long it may take and was told well over an hour. I asked why make an appt then. He grabbed his manager and overheard manager say so he is going to have to wait with a careless tone. I wouldnt have considered waiting if it wasnt for the smug ignorant attitude from the manager. Thats how you lose business man.

I got taken care of very well and treated with lots of respect. That being said I was not happy to see that the $20 patch that my tire received actually only cost them a dollar &1.99 to fix. However I was there and they suggested that I have it done while they were going to have it in the back. I wasnt going to have them fix it because it was going to cost need $20 but they explained that their patch went on the inside( I was told that made it much better). This was why it was more expensive. However when I looked at the bill and itemization and noticed most of the bill for the patch was Labor. So it will be a strict oil change from now on and nothing else!

If there was an option for 0 stars I would pick it. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Charged for an alignment that was never aligned. Couldnt tell me why it couldnt be aligned, come to find out my tie rod was broken. They let me drive with a broken tie rod.. very dangerous! Neglegence is their motto it seems. When questioned about it, Manager Mike and Associate Mike were very defensive became aefumentive and kicked me out over me asking a question in a professional and calm manner Horrible experience everytime i go there. Never again. I shredded the Credit Card i have with them!

Failed inspection due to tint on windows. How did it pass here 2 years ago? Totally unprofessional and not helpful at all. Never will go to another Firestone again and will not recommend this store to anyone. Would give zero stars if I could.

This Firestone is second to none. Everytime I go hear they take care of my vehicle without hesistation. They always tell me anything needs to be repaired and keep me up to date with my vehicle status.

I had an issue at another Firestone, the manager at North Smithfield got me right in, took care of my problem, gave me a much better price and apologized for the experience I had at the other store, that he had nothing to do with except for the fact that they share a franchise name. I would have never shopped Firestone again, but the gentleman in North Smithfield earned my business.

I purchased a life time alignment, The machine instructed the tech to do the alignment incorrectly, The manager, Keep pressing for the tech just to wrap it up, even though the job was incomplete (manager keep coming by and saying We have other job that need to get done) the tech did not have the proper GMC tools, nor proper training on the new alignment machine, this was a two man alignment but tech was unable to receive assistance. I will say this tech was awesome, with all the BS he was taken he did preform the job to the best of Firestone allowed ability, I wasted ??? Dollars at Firestone Just to pay another ??? down at a real front end business. Thumbs up to the tech, many thumbs down to the manager,

Choose somewhere else to service your vehicle. You can make an appointment for whatever time but dont expect your car to be available for at least 6 hours. Ordered tires online, they installed and tried selling me tires that were much more expensive ones than I picked. literally a $200 difference. I was scheduled in twice for an inspection, the first time there were not enough technicians available, the second time they were all out of inspection stickers. Well Firestone youve lost my business for good.

Awful customer service!! Rude rude rude! Was priced a certain amount and then they changed the price .. it went up $25. There was no extra work needed just the same thing I called for a few days before .. will definitely never go here! What a joke!

Make sure you get a second opinion. They wouldnt let me take my car home, told me brake caliper seized. Had it towed to my mechanic and he said that all that needed to be done was change the calipers. When I told them this, the said I would get free oil changes in the mail. Never received anything. BUYER BEWARE!!!

They refused to state inspect my car! So now my registration got suspended thanks to them!!! I bet if I was a Male it would be a whole different story!
