Couldnt find a customer complaint contact for the CVS corporation in general, therefore thought a review post could be sufficient enough. This particular cvs near me is the only location near my place of residence that I can easily access the healthy celsius energy drink for workouts. Upon quickly running into this particular location and grabbing the 4 pack, I was told at checkout that I needed my ID to which I didnt have on me and sadly for me I do look well into my 30s and was yet told that I was not allowed to be sold this product. (Mind you I buy this product at this location ID free all the time and this particular time they happened to be out of single cans) Lol please explain why I could buy a bunch of single cans of Celsius from the fridge from this cvs as well as other cvss but the exact saaammme product with the only difference being that it was in a value pack box of four, I was embarrassingly told no at checkout. Please fix this CVS as it makes zero sense. Zero sense!!!! It is a healthy energy drink, that can be bought at any age, carded free if grabbed from the freezer as a single can but the same exact non alcohol containing drink cannot be purchased without an ID if bought as a pack. Either make them which ever way of purchasing requiring ID or either make them which ever way of purchasing not requiring ID. The point here is not that i left my wallet at home to run to this cvs very quickly specifically for Celsius, as I have multiple times in the recent past, the point is that your check out process for Celsius makes zero sense. Zero!Oddly enough i wasnt required to show ID for the pre workout though? lol smh.
Refuses to fill prescriptions on time. Basically the entire staff is dishonest except for a few employees. I’ve heard every excuse. To name a few “we’re out of stock” “we never received it“ “we lost it” “we reached our federal limit.” Always a different story. Don’t appreciate being lied to. One time in particular and a very cowardly move, the supervisor (Sarah) told the technician to lie and say they we’re out of stock. I then received a text saying they would special order it. Come to find out they had actually reached their limit and refused to send my prescription to a different store.
So we went to the pharmacy at this cvs and it turns out that we were at the wrong cvs. We both forgot our phones, so the pharmacist, unfortunately I didnt get his name, but he was the evening pharmacist. He was nice enough ( even though the pharmacy was kinda busy) to look up the directions on his phone, and also write them down for us. I thought that was very kind of him to take the time to do that. Everyone has a minute to write a review when they want to complain, but not often enough do they do it when someone goes out of their way to be helpful.
Plenty of covid vaccines but no Alimentum formula. At least their priorities are straight. Embarrassing.
The single nicest staff i have dealt with in a CVS. for being a busy 24 hour store they really make an effort to try and help everyone out. on multiple occasions have gone out of their way to help me with mix-ups from the doctors. also have gone out of the way to lower the cost of one of my expensive meds. Dan is wonderful and has been a huge help to me. But all the staff has been great and respectful and it means alot.
After speaking with the pharmacist personally and being promised that my medications would be definitely there every month I was lied to again. Went to get them filled and had to go to Cumberland because again they were out. This was after Partially switching from Cass Avenue Due to the same problem. Not to mention the employees are scanning their own cards to get points for themselves. So if you get prescriptions that are not through the state they are taking the prescription credits for themselves... Its just ridiculous! I am going to start looking to any other pharmacy I can find!!
Got what I needed. No wait to check out and I got a 40% discount.
They wait until you show up to tell you your prescription is out of stock while they have had the prescription for 2 weeks!!! Also waited on hold for over 20 min trying to talk to someone..
Not enough Pharmacists! Waited 6 days to get 1 perscription. Spoke to head Pharmicist she said she was the only one working and she was busy giving flu shots too.What is wrong with this place having 1 pharmacist on duty.The clerks are very nice in there. Came to this cvs for the minute clinic for a dot physical. Website said wait time was 0 minutes from walk in. After registering on the computer it told me the wait time was over an hour. I will never go to this cvs again.
Everything is broken.
The overnight staff here are very nice, and it’s also very convenient to be able to come 24 hours where as most aren’t open around me late. But when you have to sit in your car at 9 am on a Sunday for over an hour for a prescription when you’re in pain and have no voice, really sucks to have to be that person. Especially after just having to work an overnight shift myself. The bare bones staff issue needs to be corrected here since this has happened more than once to me on different days and times.
So slow. They call dr. for refill on their own too early, then when you have to pick up, it is on hold. 3 time in a row. Then end up waiting an hour for prescriptions to be filled. Tired of this. Need to go elsewhere
This pharmacy is insanely slow and unorganized. I dread picking up my scripts and would literally rather go to the dentist. Every time I try to pick up a prescription, I leave with a headache. Its unfortunate that my insurance requires my prescriptions to be filled at CVS.
Person at the pharmacy counter was obviously overworked. I want my pharmacy person to be unhurried and methodical that way mistakes are less likely. This guy was very methodical, however you could tell he was working too fast. He was obviously stressed. This is one profession that should not be rushed!!
Very nice! Often coming here for everything from prescriptions to snacks. Staff are very kind and the store has everything I need. Nice store!
Tried speaking with pharmacist this morning. She was so Rude and short with me. I even asked her why she was snippity. She claimed she wasnt but her attitude continued. Will make formal complaint.
Worst pharmacy ever!!! My 2 year was sick with strep. We brought her to the urgent care and she was prescribed an antibiotic. It was late in the evening sat night so they sent an eprescription and also gave me a paper Rx just in case there were any issues. Issues is an understatement. We leave the urgent care and come straight to the pharmacy and unfortunately they had just closed. We thought ok no worries we will go to another Walgreens since we have a paper script. We go to another Walgreens and they say that the North Smithfield Walgreens already filled the antibiotic so they can’t refill at their store. My issue is why fill it if you know you are closing and the medication is for a toddler an antibiotic at that, so as a pharmacy they would know the child needs to start that ASAP! We were anticipating purchasing it since our daughter was in so much pain and kept crying and crying we were told it’s 200 dollars and we might not be reimbursed if we purchased it since it already went through the insurance. We decided to go early the next morning since they opened at 9 it said on their website. After a tough night with a screaming two year old, I go to the pharmacy at 9am on the dot to pick up the medication. Only to find a sign on the drive through saying they started opening at 10 am on sundays instead of 9. Why not update your website!? I then return at 10 am on the dot. Only to be greated by a confused pharmacist who couldn’t find the rx order for 10 min in the system !! All the while my two year old is crying in my backseat! I inform her I have the paper copy with all the info, but she says she doesn’t need it and continues wasting time searching for it!? I ask if I could just go to another pharmacy with the rx paper copy, because I need to get this med in my child ASAP. She stated no that they have a “hold” on it. She then says it’s not filled to give her another 15-20 min!? I ask why is it not filled if the other Walgreens told me they had already filled it! Nightmare I will NEVER return to this pharmacy again!!!
They are always helpful with my prescriptions .. They keep you informed and make sure you are well taken care of
I was there lastnight 2/15/18 to pick up my sons prescriptions and Sara was the person that attended me. I must say she was stressed and rude towards me. They never asked me for my sons insurance info so i didn’t know that they didn’t have his info and she went to give me the meds and toldMe it was $130 and i then handed her my sons insurance cards and she sighed and rolled her eyes at me after I told her no one informed me tht they needed his insurance cards and then she told me it’ll be another 20 min. Poor service. All i know is that next time i hope to not come across her.
They always have what I need when I need it. Many of the over-the-counter things that I use they havent CVS form which work just as well sometimes for half the price
Its a nice clean store. The pharmacy staff is a bunch of idiots who should not be administering people medicine or giving them instructions on how to take it.
Prices are high but the employees are great!
Its a typical cvs but if your going to pick up prescriptions here pack a lunch. SLOW
This has to be the slowest CVS around. The Service sucks. Too much welfare Woonsocket trash picking up their complex orders because of their poor health and diet.
The pharmacist and pharmacy technicians are always rude and never know what is safe or not safe to take during certain situations anytime I ever go up there they couldn’t even spell my name right I had to say it to them six different times because she couldn’t find me in the system because you refused to listen and pay attention worst pharmacy ever get.
I had a long wait to purchase my prescriptions.
Large cvs open 24 hours and has everything.
Very rude.
