Incredible experience all the way around.Before commiting to the three hour drive to see the truck, Joe Martin exchanged no less than 15 emails with me to answer my questions and set the table for a worthwhile visit. Very responsive every step of the way.Once at the dealership, Jon Hastings provided exceptional service. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions and provided real solutions. Not once did I feel pressured to make a decision. Easily the best automotive salesman Ive ever worked with.Denise Dupelle from financing was also incredible ensuring that I found the best payment terms and warranty options to match my needs.Once the deal was complete, the owner, Scott Sarat, was kind enough to meet with me and thank me for the business.Would absolutely recommend this dealership and this team. This is by for the worst service department I have ever dealt with. The service rep Brain offered up excuses and a nasty insulting joke as I was explaining the transmission trouble I was having with my transit van. Trouble that wasnt setting a code. However, I said I had talked to other mechanics and researched the problem online a mentioned several YouTube videos and thought I was having a transmission software programming issue. Brian is a tool (not the word I actually used as I made my opinion known). He thought my YouTube information was very funny indeed and decided an insulting joke was in order. What a funny guy! No, Brian is not funny. Brian is a tool.Next, I went across the street to the wonderful, knowledgeable gentlemen at Northampton Transmission, who test drove my van and validated my experience saying that there seemed to be something wrong with the transmission programming which appears to be causing the transmission to downshift too low, back to first gear, causing the engine to rev up to 40000 during the test drive. Exactly what i was saying to Brian the Tool at Northampton Ford. But, still there is no transmission code being set so according to Brian the Tool theres nothing the five star wonder techs at Northampton Ford Service Department could have done about it anyways. Northampton Ford Service Department is the worst! Dont go there.

Excellent service, as always. I was scheduled for an oil change but the service department noticed that my inspection sticker was going to expire and did the inspection as well, saving me the hassle of scheduling another trip back in the coming days. Prompt service, friendly people. Highly recommend.

Very knowledgeable in both the leasing aspect and overall purchasing of a car which was very helpful for me because I was unsure of what I ultimately wanted to do. Very kind and helpful on anything you needed or any questions you had. They told me the pros vs cons of both leasing/buying and did not hold back on telling me things I may have not wanted to hear (but needed to). The process was quick which was great because everyone wants to be out driving their new car ASAP. In my case I was looking at a Bronco Sport, which they didn’t have at their dealership when I called, however they got one there the next day for me to test drive. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend to a friend.

I brought my 2002 Mustang into the Ford Northampton. I wanted to make certain it was ready for the summer. I asked that they give it a thorough going over. They did so, and told me exactly what needed to be done. They also hunted down a 2002 computer key for the car. They gave me a cost and time for pick up and did exactly what was needed. The service on the car and the customer service was excellent. Like my other Ford, my Mustang has a new home, Ford of Northampton! Great people, Great Service!!!

Poor attention on a 2020 Ford Transit that I brought in for a TSB bulletin. They insist that the TSB doesnt apply, yet all of the symptoms that indicate a problem very clearly show up in my van. They insist that everything is normalI wont be heading back to Norhampton Ford and I wouldnt recommend you do either!

My wife bought a new car at the beginning of COVID. John Hastings, our salesman, was incredible. I couldn’t be happier with how professional he is, how fair he was, and what a pleasant experience it was overall. Car buying is very stressful. But, not with John and Northampton Ford. Everyone was very nice, but it took 3 hours for an oil change and a sticker. Thank God it was a beautiful day and we could sit outside, because we wouldnt be able to sit in the waiting room because of covid. We had an appointment, so someone must have dropped the ball and kept us waiting. I dont expect them to be as fast as a pit crew, but Im an old lady and I could have done it faster.

They did an awesome job fixing my truck. But since they had my truck for a whole week, I was hoping they would have put air in the 2 tires that needed it, since there is a warning every time you start the truck. Little things go a long way.

SHADY Dealership. We were returning a lease, have had many leases so we were aware of dealership document fees upon returning. Dealer tried to add “extra” dealership fees not on original contract. They could not justify what the fees were for but insisted all dealership charge them . Called other dealerships, no one charges this fee. Called Ford they had no idea what extra fees were. Walked out and went to Marcotte Ford. returned lease with no issues or added fees. Liked the service so much went back to buy a truck from them. Will be returning to Marcotte to buy an additional vehicle.

The worst experience! Made an appointment with a sales person and drove 45 min to test the car and when I got there nobody attended me and they sold the car I made the appointment for. Never bothered to call me to inform me its no longer available. Wasted my time!

Brought my C Max into Noho Ford to address a fan motor problem. Probably mice! Service manager was great, offered several options, problem fixed, I feel I can trust their recomendationsGot the Works performed last week. Feel that I can safely use the car for the next 6 months, and only need to add gas, only occasionaly, for a long time! I am so sad that Frd stopprd making this model. It does exactly what I need, and gets over 44 mpg to boot.

Jon Hastings is a great salesman, however my purchase from Ford of Northampton was disappointing. Bought a CPO vehicle, and upon pick up, there was dog hair all over the car. There were also leaves under the passenger side mat. No attention to the car detailing. Also, their service department kept the car for 5 weeks for a repair. They did provide a loaner at no cost, which I appreciated, but the issue was not resolved. I will not be returning.

I made an appointment for an oil change for 8:30 am and they told me on the phone the longest I would probably be here would be an hour. It is now almost two hours later and I am still here. I contacted this dealership in order to return my leased car. Initially, I had wished to purchase the car, but after 2+ weeks of being shoved off via email/phone call, I decided that I did not want to give Ford my business and simply wanted to return the car. I set an appointment and went into the dealership only to have them tell me that they could not acquire the appropriate information and would not accept my car that day. And that I should call them back. No one in the dealership was wearing masks or keeping 6 ft of distance from me. I was able to return my car to another dealership who handled my case promptly and without hassle. I would strongly recommend not giving this dealership your business.

Im not someone that EVER writes a review...and even though this one is coming months late (I bought my car from Sarat Ford in January) I knew I HAD to write one because their customer service was simply incredible. I just had my truck serviced at Northampton Ford. My disappointment is the lack of listening, the attitude of not my job, and the pushing of unnecessary services. I am a car enthusiast and i take the time to learn and to work with mechanics. i was told i needed a new battery which was false since i replaced my battery last year. when trying to explain and to make sure specific things were to be completed, the intake person would not allow me to speak or listen, i attribute this to being female. Also, while in the waiting room the intake person is trying to bull**** me about batteries. when the truck was completed, i could not get near my truck to inspect the work. i made mention to it and the very young lady taking my payment flat out says not my job then insults me with if i allowed her to speak. Humm, when you say not my job you just told me to go away. The intake person disappeared who was to walk with me through the completed items. Last but not the least the mechanic lets my drivers door hit the lift post which now i have to take care of the paint scrap. Please do not assume that women do not understand or work on cars. there are a small percentage of us who quietly collect, tow, work on, vintage muscle and modern day vehicles. Also we respect all vehicles so NOT to damage when in our possession. Lastly, it is our job to ensure all experiences are top notch.

This is my family’s second vehicle purchase from Lynda (FON) in 2months and I have to honestly say, if Lynda was not our salesperson, (no offense to the other salespeople) we would not have shopped at Ford of Northampton. Ford of Northampton has saved me twice in the past 4 months when no one else had the time. Its snow tire changing season, and I had a flat on a Saturday. The tire shops in town could help me if I wanted to drop it off, but I wasnt trying to make this an all day affair. I called Ford at 8:30 in the morning and they said they could help me at 9. Back on the road by 10:15 and could continue on with my weekend plans. I am very thankful for this and the other times they fixed me up when others were too busy/short staffed.

Brought my truck in because the check engine light was on they charged me $171 to diagnose the issue they called me two days later said it was fixed within 12 hours check engine light was back on called and they said would be another $200 to diagnose the issue even though that’s what they were supposed to do before. They need to get themselves some real mechanics that know how to diagnosed issues and not just wrench turners.

I am very happy with Northampton Ford Service Department.I made an appointment to have my fuel filters changed and I was told it would take about 1 hour. and it only took 45 minuets.and someone came out and checked on me and told me to help my self to coffee and he let me know were the mens room was located.And there is a nice waiting room with a TV.Everyone was very nice and helpful I will be looking forward to my next Service. Dave and Joe are the best, along with all the service technicians, and right at the top of their field. I just brought my car in for an oil change, only to find out there was a recall on a small part, that they replaced without me having to ask to have it done! I have been a Northampton Ford customer since 1998. I have always been pleased with my purchases. I have also used the service department for all of my service needs. I have always felt that I have been dealt with in an honest and fair manner. I had been thinking about trying a lease for awhile. I researched the concept on-line and then took my questions to the dealership. I greatly appreciated the time and knowledge they provided in helping me to make my decision to lease a 2014 Ford Escape. When I looked at the expenses involved in ownership versus leasing, for me the numbers favored giving a lease a try. So far Im loving my new Escape. I was told it would be an hour to wait to get my inspection done—-a simple state inspection. I decided to wait. They weren’t even full in all of their service bays. There was only one person in the waiting room. After 75-80 minutes I decided to check on the status of my car since I had been given no update after a LONGER wait time than expected. I had also been seeing other people bringing their cars in and leaving with completed service as I continued to wait and wait. After asking the cashier who then checked with the service depot, I was told that my car was “next” to get inspected and that it would be about another 30 minutes. My car had just been sitting there!!!!! Unbelievable. Awful service.... oh and by the way— I’m STILL waiting on my car.

Waste of time if your looking to feel somewhat good about an vehicle purchase. Vehicles are priced high so they can pretend they are giving you a deal by taking little off and still not being at fair purchase price. Sales person Chris didn’t even present the Kelly blue book fair purchase price to the sales manager and stated he didn’t want to play cat and mouse. I went in November. Obviously they must want me to wait a month or so the vehicle is another year older. Makes no sense.

Ford of Northampton is by far the best dealer in Western MA. I drive by 6 dealerships to get to them and it’s worth it every time. They have the best sales team with real world knowledge of their cars. I have (mistakenly) bought from the other guys in the area, most of them don’t even know which motor is in the car they’re selling! They have a great selection and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your experience is great. I would recommend them to anyone. Their service department is great too, they’re the only ones that have correctly diagnosed the problem each time I’ve been there and they actually listen to the customer discribe the issue. Awesome experience every time, if you are looking for a new or used Ford check them out first, they’re worth the drive from Springfield or even CT!

Bought several vehicles from Northampton Ford over the years, and the service and people working there are very good at what they do. Work gets done on time and everything is explained thoroughly. All my appointments have been reminded by email and the waiting room has free coffee, TV, and even popcorn. While waiting, I get to look at all the new vehicles in the showroom and get answers from some of the knowledgeable salesmen. Its a bit of a drive for me to get there but worth it. Im sure my next vehicle will be bought there too.

I had an issue on my 2011 Ford Explorer while driving north on 91 (belt broke) I pulled off the highway and googled the nearest dealership in a long shot attempt to get it fixed...Needless to say, here I am, and theyre fixing it (with zero wait time).

Brought my car in for detailing. They were able to schedule me in sooner and charged less than other auto detailing locations in the area. When I picked up the car, the car looked fantastic, both inside and out. They were able to scrub off superficial rust and get out ALL of the dog hair and other accumulated debris. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for detailing services.

Always professional and courteous. Only reason they dont get 5 stars is due to the time I need to wait for the work to be completed, which is a little over an hour. Longer than a quick lube franchise, but without the obnoxious up-selling and minimum wage technicians performing the service. Quicker would be better, but not a deal breaker considering the quality of the work being performed.

Very dissatisfied with my last couple services there. The quality of service seems to has gone severely down hill over the past few years. Went in for a service last year and asked about my heat, they told me it was fine, blowing 140 degrees (in the heated shop might I add), yet could barely defrost my windshield on cold snowy nights. They told me my t-stat might be opening up enough, neglecting to tell me that was a recommended service for my vehicle given how many miles I had. I had another shop preform the factory recommended service (since Ford didnt seem to want the business) and my heat has been fine and blowing hot since. This past time, I went in for an oil change, multi point vehicle inspection, and state inspection. Needless to say, my car failed the state inspection for a bad tie rod end. A legitimate safety concern and cause for a failure. Fine, my car needs more repairs. Did Ford offer to fix the issues with my car or even inform me of this issue before they took my car off the lift after looking at it not once, but TWICE. They had EVERY OPPORTUNITY to inform me of the issue and get my permission to fix the safety issue before my car was even taken off of the lift. They only told my about it after all was said and done and my car was down off of the lift and I was ready to leave. Mind you, I had been sitting in their waiting room for close to 3 hours at that point, so its not like I wasnt there for them to ask if I want them to fix my NOT SAFE TO DRIVE car, NO, THEY DID NOT!!! Northampton Ford let me leave, with an unsafe car, without even so much as giving me an opportunity to have my car fixed that day, and maybe having my car pass inspection, or at least have a safe car to drive while i fixed the other minor cosmetic issues. Now, I have to waste another day, having another shop fix my car, AGAIN, when Ford could have just done it while my car was there, and then waste another day going back to them to have my car re-inspected. Thanks for wasting 2 days for me.

I recently had to have my vehicle towed to this dealership because of breakdown. It happened at the end of the day and George not only went out of his way to get me into a rental that could get me 120 miles home that night, but they repaired the car quickly the next day. The entire staff I dealt with in the service department were exceptional and I wish I lived closer to this dealership. Far better service than I get at the dealership I purchased my car from.

My son-in-law and I wandered in to see cars I had viewed online. Turned out he knew many of the people working there. They were so friendly and helpful and made me feel like an old friend that I knew I had found the place and people I wanted to buy from. I love my Escape and will be back for service and in many years when I am ready for a new car.

I recently went to Ford of North Hampton to pick up a new Ford F-150 pick up truck, when I pulled into the parking lot they had a nice selection of new and used cars and trucks, as soon as I walked into the showroom there was a salesperson to greet me and asked if he could help me, so I asked him a few questions which he answered for me.Needless to say, when everything was all said and done I left with a new Ford F-150 pick up truck.

I was not pleased with my experience and wrote to the owner about it. I have not heard anything back so am assuming my issues were not considered important. I love the sales department. They are wonderful. I just wish that the service department was of equal quality. Unless my experiences with the service department improve, I probably will choose to buy any new car I get from a different dealer
