One of my favorite places to go. I dont think theres a thing they dont have. Things youd never think of. Went out of our way to go there and it was great. Prices are low. Someone always asks if you need help. Ill always go back.The only downfall was all the people outside the store begging for money. I understand that people are doing what they have to do, but I felt downright harassed by one of them. When u get out of your car to get a parking ticket for your window, DONT bring your wallet or purse!!! Youll be bombarded!!! This doesnt reflect how I feel about the store.

A little bit of everything

Located in Thornes market on the lower floor, Acme surplus is basically a thrift store with all sorts of random items at very reasonable prices.Is the perfect stop a date night if you wish to laugh and a bunch of different items or to bring your kids after a long day of shopping and you wish to purchase something cheap for them.They have it all from random clothing, kitchenware, greeting cards, electronics, and many more.You can pass through the store in about 15 minutes and see everything. Usually I find myself leaving with at least one or two cheap items.

I love acme surplus!! I go here at least twice a week. Yet I’m a bit confused, I went to buy a lighter for my candles and was told I had to be 21 years of age to buy one but then I went to cvs/shop therapy and I had no trouble in buying a lighter whats so ever.I was pretty upset/frustrated especially since I shop at acme surplus a lot :(

I would give Acme surplus a 2.5 star rating! Only because half of their products that they sell at very discounted and cheap prices, I usually faulty! Although they do honor their return policies as long as you have a receipt. Most of their faulty equipment is electronics and things of that sort. But overall they have a friendly staff and they tried to do their best and try to sell all their products at a fair price okay. It is only because of multiple times Ive had to return things that I give them a 3-star rating! Go ahead and check it out and beer on Judge!!

Ever changing inventory of stuff you use daily to weekly, including housewares, tools, clothes and more. Aptly named, though I couldnt find any safes, TNT, etc., though Ive been there countless times, havent seen Wiley E. Coyote or roadrunner seed. Maybe hes gone vegan? It is Northampton. Hmmm...

Its fine if youre looking for a few inexpensive items and for a quick shopping experience. It has a large selection of inexpensive items to fulfill most of your needs

Bins and bins of bargains.Things exist here that you didnt know you needed.

Sometimes my family and I will go shopping all around Northampton, and end our day at Acme Surplus, and see everything we purchased at a cheaper price point. This place is such a wonderful hidden gem.

Love it! First place I go for Holliday shopping (no really). Card selection is amazing and they have everything for gift wrapping needs. I frequently find quirky gifts here as well. Yoga mats, kitchen wares, condoms check!

Great place! Reminds me of small town department stores from my childhood in the 60s. Can get practically anything (no groceries) and good prices. Not a huge store, which I also like.

Decent place. Great prices. You will,always be able,to find something unique or out of place, like soldering equipment, dental tools, or Nike branded apparel. Stop here if you want great deals or ideas.

Usually a decent place but not good at all about returns. I bought some items that were not the size marked on the package and they would not even answer my email. refund me or give a store credit!

Always have to check out the odd assortment of wares here at Acme Surplus when I am in town. Great prices for many things I didnt know I needed.
