Love the Northampton location! Always wonderful and amazing customer service!!! Would definitely recommend anyone to come and visit if you are from out of town!!!

This store nearly gave me a panic attack. Quiet browsing was absolutely not allowed by the staff who are apparently trained to talk as loudly as possible and not let customers look at the shelves for more than a moment at a time before repeatedly demanding to help them. I ended up leaving empty handed because I was sick of having to refuse unwanted help and just wanted to get the hell away from the aggressive sale people and my friend bought a necklace that broke 30 minutes later.

Ten Thousand Villages in downtown Northampton is a great place to browse, to find just the right unique gift ... and to treat yourself to some creation which captures your eye.

So many wonderful items here. Beautiful tablecloths and napkins, jewelry, great fair trade chocolates and hot chocolate, etc. Fun place to walk through and look at the items. All items for sale are made under Fair Trade conditions so artisans are paid living wages for their work.

Friendly staff. This is the very first 10k Villages I ever visited and it got me hooked. Fairly traded arts and crafts, gorgeous jewelry. A+
