I had a great visit at this Rosin Optical in Northbrook. i left very happy with new contacts and i can see great. the optimetrist was very smart and solved my vision issues. He explained things very well. i will deginately go back.

Absolutely the worst service. Had been a customer for many years and when I needed a spare contact lense in an emergency situation, they were more interested scheduling me for another test. I offered to get a test that day just so I could get a spare lense but they were too busy and seemed dis-interested in my situation. Needless to say, it was not hard finding other optometrists in the area that would test me same day and provide a spare contact lenses. You really find out the substance of an organization in times of need. ROSIN DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER, JUST THEIR REVENUE AND THEIR SCHEDULE.

Rosin Eyecare is the Best!!! This summer they saved my eyesight when they detected narrow angles in my eyes and sent me to the Eye doctor for successful eye surgery! We have gotten 5 pairs of glasses threw out the years from Rosin Eyecare and have always had great service, care and the best glasses. I highly recommend Rosin Eyecare!

Rosin is fantastic! I tripped over my dog and broke my glasses. They were able to get me in the next day, and expedited my glasses shipment so I had them a week later! Real lifesavers.

I have had two recent encounters with Rosin Eyecare in Northbrook: the first time I went in, Shelby was incredible helpful and patient in helping me pick out and order some new sunglasses. I also had a pair of (prescription) regular glasses that have been sliding down my nose for months. He adjusted them and I love them again!!Second encounter was over the phone, ordering a replacement for a pair of sunglasses I lost. I can only speak for the Northbrook location. While I’ve had good experiences with the doctors here, the front office is always a mess. I’ve lost track of the number of times they’ve screwed up my appointments, my prescriptions, my orders. I continue to come because the doctors are good and the location is convenient, but be warned. The experience is not a smooth one.

I have never been to the Northbrook location, but the Dundee location is where I go. I love that location because when you walk in, Armando is always happy to see you. He is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable with helping you pick a stylish and affordable frame. He will make sure to stay within your budget and still get you what youre asking for. Armando has been so helpful with scheduling things with specialist within the Rosin practice and makes it so easy. Another reason I love this location is because of Dr. Patel. She is extremely knowledgeable and will take her time with you. She also answers every question you can think of. When it comes to kids, she makes them feel very comfortable and explains everything she is going to do. She is really friendly and cares. You can definitely tell she cares about everyone that sits in her chair. I have never met a doctor like her. As long as Dr. Patel and Armando are at that location, I will continue to stay with Rosin. Those two just make my visits so painless. I tend to tell everyone about those two whenever I hear someone needs a great eye doctor and some fancy glasses. Thank you Dr. Patel and Armando!!

I visited for an eye exam and new contacts. The store is very clean. You need an appointment to come in. The doctor was very patient and helpful in fitting me for new contacts. I also love the glasses they helped me to pick out. Very happy!

My father is a sales rep for modern optical and he warned me that one of the doctors had not only given my mom a prescription that hurt her eyes but that he also convinced her that she needed a more expensive pair. I went in the first time and the doctor didnt warn me about dilating my eyes. Not only that but the prescription hurt my eyes. I went again explaining that I needed new glasses and I again received an inaccurate prescription. I went to Dr. Katz Eyecare and it was remarkably better.

This was my first experience at Rosin. My visit was professionally handled from start to finish. Extensive Covid-19 precautions made me feel very comfortable.

Every single individual with whom we came into contact was very friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. I unexpectedly got my eyes examined while we were there looking for glasses for my husband; I wasn’t planning on it but found some L.A. Eyeworks frames I loved. Absolutely everything was great. We ended up not buying glasses because they do not currently offer polarized transition lenses. I would highly recommend this place regardless.

The optician I met was very knowledgeable, and answered addressed all my concerns in one visit! She was friendly, gave useful tips and advice and provided detailed examination of my eyes in a way I’ve never had it done before. When it was time to choose glasses, the attendant was very patient as I tested several frames - and I must say they have a wide variety of frames for almost every budget. Thanks Rosin Eyecare!

Rosin was part of an on site program at my place of employment.They sent the wrong prescription to the eye glass manufacture so I got the incorrect glasses. I went to the office in Northbrook and they got the correct prescription and said they would rush the order through. After 3 weeks I contacted the manufacturer who said they just received the order and it would take 10 more days so I should get by end of September. My eye exam was in July. I called Rosin and they said they miss typed the email address for the new order. I would have thought that after one mistake someone would try to follow up to see this was handled correctly.I should have read the other reviews prior to trusting Rosin.

Dr. Dygola is great. The staff, however, are untrustworthy. They cheated me out of $35 by deceiving me about the need to purchase a package of contact lens solution and eye drops. When confronted with this, they offered to fix it by taking my money some other way. Disgraceful.

Seamless integration from location to location. Anyone and everyone is willing to help. Walked in for regular eye exam, ended up having LASIK a few weeks later and I am now glasses/contacts free with 20:15 vision. Thanks so much to Dr Rosin and his wonderful team!

Rosen Eye Care has been helping myself and my family for more than 15 years and this is the first time I’ve actually written a review Dr. Degola is an amazing Eye care specialist. But the reason for my review today is because of Shelby it always takes me a year to pick out new eyeglasses today he brought me the correct frames I saw them I put them on my face and I said Yep these are them he took care of the issues that I was having made corrections and did it all so kindly and hassle free. It’s people like him and Dr. Degola that keep me coming back even though I can be a pain in the rear sometimes because I’m very very particular about my vision and I wear. Although the staff is very friendly, the doctor conducted a poor eye exam. I was forced to go back to have another doctor examine me after I figured out that I could not see that well out of my new glasses. They ordered new lenses, but based on how I can see with the new set, doctors there still didnt get it right. I see better with my old pair of glasses that I received from Libertyville Vision center the year before. I will not be coming back to Rosin.

Dr. Rosen is a very thorough and caring practitioner. I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about their eye care. The other staff are a bit remote in their approach, but who cares? Thats not whats important to me.

Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by front desk staff in what is supposed to be a professional office. I am not sure anyone at the front desk was ever trained based on how they act. In addition, I have been canceled on twice in the span of a month. They do not care about their customers. If you look on Yelp, you will see countless reviews of horrible customer service, so be warned. If you are looking for professionals this is NOT the place to go.

Deeply disappointed in Rosin at least at the Northbrook location. The exam and purchase was pleasant enough but my glasses broke, I did not break them after only 10 months. A small weld an the temple failed and Rosin said they could not fix them and could get new frames at full price. Manager gave no customer service regarding the failure of the frames. When I looked online for the designer of the frames everyone who sold that frame offered. 1 year guarantee for defects. Rosin never offered any consideration. I will never go back there.

They have a good selection of eyeware. Not the cheapest but very professional staff.

First off, I’d like to thank Dr Rosen for the time he spent on me in my LASIK experience. As it turned out I was not a valid candidate after we took detailed images of my eyes at the surgery center the morning of the surgery. He was able to articulate the issue in how the shape of my cornea could lead to post lasik issues.My feeling is that if I went to a large LASIK Chain something like this might not be discovered. I just wanted to bring this up for others that might be researching LASIK. You get what you pay for, and I’d recommend seeing an experienced doctor like Dr Rosen over some box chain. You don’t want to mess around when dealing with your vision👍

At Rosin Eye care, I had a good experience with the physicians; however, my experience with management and accounting has been a nightmare. Last year after my one annual visit, I was charged for the co-payment three times. Eventually, I found out that Rosin was also changing accounting services. Moreover, the company had communication issues. I spent hours talking to the accountant and managers and finally Rosin agreed to refund my money. But there actually was never any refund. After waiting three months, I called again and I seemed to be back again at step one. Rosin’s managers and accounting personnel have no record of any of our pervious conversations. I am deeply disappointed at their behavior and record keeping and warn all Rosin patients to carefully review their bills for overcharging and not to expect any help from management personal.

Ive never been so disappointed with a healthcare professional.
