I come here once a week to stock up on Indian specific groceries which I cannot otherwise find in other supermarkets. The store is big, spacious and very well laid out. You won’t find it difficult to navigate through the store since everything is well organized.You’ll find all sorts of items from fresh produce, to Indian spices to different types of flours & rice, frozen items and dairy. There’s also a few Indian specific items that are hard to find in other stores that you can get here. The prices are comparable to other stores so no surprises here.The staff is friendly and polite and will guide you if you can’t find your items. The service is good and if you’re in Norwood hunting for Indian groceries then this is the place to shop. You won’t be disappointed.

The store is clean and well organized making it easy to find anything you’re looking. The shelves are well stocked with exotic fruits and fresh vegetables. They carry a lot of inventory of Indian and other international foods. Check out their frozen section and ready to eat meals. I have found guava, lychee and my favorite mango which I never pass up on. The owners are very friendly and always available to help. There are many checkout lanes and they ensure people aren’t waiting in lines. That’s a big plus. I love their location too, easy in and out.

Excellent customer service, and they have some of best variety in all of mass even compared to Patel brothers. I will be coming here even though it is far from my house only because I like their products the best. The family who runs this business is super friendly and helpful, and they have a really cute daughter which is a bonus!

This is the best Indian grocery store in the area! The people who work here are so friendly and helpful. I own a restaurant and I have never had to look anywhere else for my grocery needs. They stock everything that is needed and Rashmi and Ajay also help me with getting all that is needed.If you are looking for a store that has Indian groceries for you, look no further. I honestly love and appreciate this market, there are a variety of groceries and decent prices for the quality. Store owners are very friendly and helpful! Once and a while I like to come specifically for the garlic they have, it’s unmatched anywhere else. They also have fresh herbs and great spices you can buy in bulk. Give them a try!!

Sharing my recent experience - We came to this store through one of our friends recommendation in search of some indian Poojas items. This store is very well organized and easy to navigate. The quality of products is just too good. Rashmi in the store was such a sport, she ensured that we got all most all the items that we were looking for the Pooja. Like most other Indian stores, this store have all indian groceries and veggies but also includes a very rare collection of Pooja items. The Pooja items are organized based on the festival and events so, it makes it easy to find everything at one spot. We found our one stop shop for all our indian Poojas and grocery needs!!

I am coming to this store for over 5 years now(Now they have shifted to more spacious space) ... owners are always helping me to find things which I am unable to find with odd names :).... In this Covid times... it was easy to maintain 6ft distance due to the sheer space of Shiva Bazaar ... Very nice store with competitive prices and huge space to maintain distance...and unlike other Indian stores you can actually move your cart freely here. Great prices great and stuff... specially frozen aisle and fresh veggies...!!!!

She is truly one of many humble essential workers, so make sure to recognize her heroic nature. My time at Shiv bazaar was spent going from aile to aile for premium spices, flour, and dal. Shiva bazaar sells Indian foods, spices etc. They have a friendly staff who is very helpful. Great and wide variety, good quality, well clean, spacious place and well stocked, each item arranged in very orderly manner, care for the clients, comparable lower and reasonable prices. The store is not congested and is well organized. Comparing to other similar stores, better personalized kind and considerate service, polite staff, willing to be helpful even for getting items not available. You can order any item which may be out of stock, they are ready to get for you. Madam Rashmi is very helpful, humble with amazing service. Her response is fast and any item you do not find- place an order and she gets it. Normally you find all food items that you need.No need to check expiry dates as they are very particular and you would never find any item in shelves with expired dates. The place itself is decent, no waiting in queue, no problem for parking.All that I can say is -it is a great place, convenient from every angle, with exemplary and accommodating service.I have visited several other stores -this one is the best from all points of view.I have no hesitation in recommending to any one for grocery needs and frozen food items and fruits etc.

A great Indian store in this area! Everything is so well organized and packed. Staff is friendly and helpful all the time, especially during Covid. Since I didn’t want to risk going into the store during the pandemic, they packed all the stuff for me and loaded it in my car for no extra fee. All the produce I received was fresh and of great quality. I’m sure everyone will find every item whether it’s Indian spices, Indian products, Indian utensils, or religious products. Excellent quality and service made it perfect for me.

This is a great grocery store with expansive Indian and general grocery a lot of which are now commonly used in non Indian households. Great variety, good quality and reasonable prices. The vegetables, in particular, are fresh and reasonably priced. The store is run by wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable people who help out their customers especially during the pandemic. We have been shopping at Shiva Bazaar in Norwood for many years now and this is our favorite place to shop for Indian groceries. They carry an extensive variety of products and their fresh produce is always good quality and competitively priced. Their service staff is excellent and is always there to help customers. We are especially appreciative of their support to senior citizens during these challenging times. Early in the pandemic, when we were hesitant to enter any store, they were there for us to let us text our list to them and bring out our order for curbside pickup. Even accommodated any last minute changes in our order without complaining. We can not thank them enough for their support during these challenging times and we know we can always count on them for providing excellent quality, competitive pricing. and pleasant service.

We used to shop at Apna Bazar nearby till we found Shiva Bazaar. Shiva Bazaar does a great job organizing groceries, veggies are fresh and store is nice & spacious making it safe compared to other stores during COVID 19. The owners are great too - very friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend Shiva Bazaar for a hassle free, convenient shopping experience.

Polite staff, good place to buy Indian grocery like Spices, rice, wheat flour and frozen Currys.. They carry Indian festivals specific items too which are rare to find in other Indian grocery stores nearby areas..

A complete indian store in the neighborhood. Excellent customer service, quality of the goods, fresh produce availability almost all times, great price and value for money. Owners are very pleasant and friendly staff. More important thing is understanding the customer needs. Great care. You will mostly find everything. For any reason if anything is out of stock they will note it and get it for you and follow up. Follows Covid protocols puts customer safety first and get the stuff ready on a phone call and load it for you too. Almost touch less experience. What else one could ask for. Strongly recommend.

Shiva Bazar is an excellent Indian grocery - The best of all the stores I have visited. Visiting Shiv Bazar is like visiting family. The store owner couple made for each other for hospitality, care and response to the customers. They maintain the store very neat and clean, well organized, fresh stock of vegetables, groceries. Their frozen stock is also very fresh and I never ever complained on any thing. For the last so many years I am buying all our needed vegetables and groceries from this store only. I like this Indian store as it has all Indian spices, fresh fruits, vegetables and groceries that one may need. The store is pretty big and neatly organized. The staff is friendly and also try to procure any festival specific groceries if you wanted. They were especially very helpful during the pandemic lockdown. They packed us groceries carefully when we texted a list for curb side pickup. I was very grateful for that!!

They are really good and helpful. Especially during covid times i am regularly doing curbside pickup. The products are good quality, they never sneak in expired or rotten things. I highly recommend them.

It was a very good experience although I know this my first time. Shiva Bazaar is much cleaner and better customer service than the Indian store on Quincy Ave in Braintree. I could not locate turmeric roots and a gentleman was kind enough took me to the right spot. So, thank you for keeping the store open and doing your best!!

For the past two years, I am purchasing my groceries here and the quality of fresh produce/vegetables are very good. The store had wide stock of other food items including frozen section and the prices are good and reasonable. There is separate section for vast collection of Pooja items which I find good and other Indian kitchen cooking utensils can be found like pressure cooker, tawa etc.During this current covid-19 ongoing situation, the store is well following Covid safety measures. The staff are always with their masks and maintaining social distance. I am visiting here often periodically when I need to stock up my groceries.One thing for sure - I found the customer service is marvelous and you will definitely notice it on your visit. Ok, to set things in perspective, one of the cleanest and most hygienic stores in and around New England and the boston suburb areas.The store is large, not cramped and sticks to their speciality - Indian groceries. They dont mix it up like a common store, have a clear segmentation of goods and surprise surprise .... I dare you to find any item that has crossed its expiry there ( unlike a lot of the other Indian stores - who keep expired goods just to make a quick buck ) .Veggies are fresh and neatly kept and you find a lot of variety.. and in case you dont, you can ask the store managers and they are kind enough to walk you to the section where you get it or even better take custom orders for you if possible..Rashmi and her husband have always been helpful and I wouldnt mind spending an extra few $$ there for the excellent quality .

Ive been here four times, its a long drive for me but its worth it. I love this place. I am into trying different foods from different cultures and there are good findings for me here. The customer service is great, its clean and they recently rearranged everything very nicely.

I once went into this store during the summer wearing a tank top, and was told by a male employee to “cover up.” This is a grocery store, not a temple or a church, they have no right to comment on my clothing or what I’m wearing. Incredibly unprofessional and sexist staff. Those kind of comments are unacceptable. The website promises “a welcoming, accepting environment for all.” I definitely didn’t feel welcome or accepted.

I am a big consumer of fresh vegetables, shiva is a great grocery store to buy produce. They have fresh and reasonably priced veggies. I also find ethic items like Moroccan couscous, olives, spices, gunpowder tea, mint... the owners and the staff are friendly and helpful.

After the re vamp... the store looks good... but unfortunately the customer service ... is still the same. My check out experience on saturday afternoon 3/09 @ 12.30 pm... with the lady on the counter was horrible.. she kept on talking to another customer while billing my stuff... looked away from what she was billing... thank god she did not double bill... otherwise another waste of time... after billing was over... just handed my credit card receipt to sign and walked away from the counter... hey lady... have you heard about sensitive info.. ... will never be back ... going to apna bazaar... sorry...

I gave 1 star based on my last experience. There are plenty of them around so wont be going there again.I picked up some grocery and sweets last week. Anand bhog Sweets were stale, full of oil and had weird taste. Also, picked up stick of sandal wood, after opening it had no perfume smell and looked like any ordinary wood. When I took them back to show it to them, owner (Monu) acted so cold, reminded me of Lalas in India. If a product is bad, shop owner is obligated to refund the money and offer apology. This owner offered neither and asked to leave the products. they will let the manufacturer know about it and even asked me to call the manufacturer. Really rude and unprofessional.

They are in business for a long time. I know this place for past 10 years and they have the best inventory in Boston area. I used to live in norwood area but now I moved 20 miles away from norwood, Still Siv bazar is my favorite indian grocery store. The prices are very competitive to any national chains.

Expired items: I purchased a food item in a grocery store and after coming home I realized that it had expired. This happened couple of times. Owners of this store seems irresponsible of such incident, most of the Indian Masala and Baby foods are expired. If this continues I will report it to the county health dept.If you happen to visit this store, dont ever buy without checking expiry date
