Absolutely lovely cafe and owner!! Very welcoming and reminds us of Italy. Fabulous cappuccinos and excellent Italian croissants that have a variety of fillings such as cream, marmalade, chocolate or pistachio. The gelato is superb and the sandwiches are a must if you happen to be there for lunch. It has become one of my favorite places to stop by whenever I’m in the area.

Went in to ask her to move her vehicle it was blocking Art on the Avenue. I had ask her politely out of no where men were yelling in my face and her telling me to go ---- myself I was totaly shocked by how rude they were. They are not nice people. And a lot more goes on in there. Not clean either. And the only people that go there are the people that there! Rude Rude Rude people

I always prefer to support small business.Their coffee is absolutely delicious. They have all types of coffees and teas an amazing pastries.It is a warm, cute little Bistro. I love it!

The food and coffee may be good, but the owner of this place is an awful person who only cares about $$. Cursing, smoking, drinking that goes on in this place! And be careful with your vehicle, no one knows how to drive or park there, they will hit your car and leave. Stay away fro. This place as far as possible, there is plenty other much nicer places in Nutley.

A place time forgot about. Its literally like dining at your grandmas house.I will say, it seems odd and unorthodox to have old family heirlooms stacked up on two tables in the corner that our no longer available for customer use.Aside that, the hospitality is divine.You feel like family here. And if youre around for any period of time, actual family comes in to visit.

Regular customers walk in, come up to the counter and ask for their order which the servers are familiar with. Youll hear men talking in Italian. The place feels like walking into a familys kitchen where people are relaxed and just enjoying their morning. Good coffee ground right from the beans.

I wouldnt say theres much in the customer interaction. We entered and the lady working there was sitting down, but got right up to help us. But I didnt feel the interest in providing any more than just what was needed to fulfill the transaction.We got the $5 special which was a beverage and a dessert. Since the drink was $5, theres no reason not to. Tiramisu was delicious, drink was alright but nothing special.Outside of the building looks very average but the inside looks a lot better or albeit a little bit crowded. It kind of feels like eating in a gift shop.Our overall opinion of this location its just about average with nothing special to make us comeback.

I was in the area dropping off my daughter to see her brother. Ive never left my daughter like that before. I decided to wait at this divine coffee shop. I asked Rosalba for chamomile tea for my mom & she greated me with such warmth. She told me being in my shop you dont need this tea. She was sure right. I felt at home. She prepared the best cappuccino Ive ever had. Even her customers were beautifully spirited people. I made a friend there. Truth is, I lost my godson to cancer & flew in from GA for his services. I was hurting for him & nervous about my daughter. Rosalba comforted me. She hugged me tight & made me feel so much better. I will never forget her & she gave me souvenirs that I will cherish. I will be back just to see her & sit in her coffee shop of comfort. Thank you Rosalba. I am forever grateful. Your new friend -Clarissa

Definitely the worst café I have been to. It was unwelcoming and my cappuccino was basically a regular coffee. The lady did not tell me there was a minimum to use credit card when I handed it to her. I should have gone to Dunkin or Starbucks instead. Disappointed.

If you live near here, there is no reason you should ever go to Starbucks. The coffee is beautifully nuanced and smooth, and the first bite of my morning pastry is like Im reliving my first childhood experience of biting into a croissant.I realize Im overselling it, but its only because I feel cheated for not trying this place sooner.

Ive been going to caffes for over 30 years. Trapezio makes a great espresso. you must try the sciaquato Like a mini Cappuccino. The staff is very frienly and welcoming always with a smile. I enjoy coming here and hanging out with the paisans as well. When in the area, make it a point ti stop in. you may become a regular. Enjoy!

I had an Americano coffee and sampled apricot and chocolate croissant. The coffee was hot and smooth and the pastries were delicious.
