By far the best Volvo dealership in Chicagoland! It was definitely one of the smoothest and easiest car buying experiences I have had. I ordered from their online website. I received the incorrect part. Called the parts dept twice and each time the person I spoke with couldn’t have been more rude and less helpful. I paid 380 dollars for a part and they refunded me 280. Charged me a restocking fee. This place is ridiculous. If you need any Volvo parts, I would go somewhere else. It’s not worth the aggravation.

I just purchased a used car they had advertised online. Unlike many others they honored the price they had online. They negotiated fairly given that there were a few minor issues with the vehicle but they understand and adjusted the price accordingly. The only downside is their location. I dont live or drive in the city so test driving the vehicle in conditions similar to what I would use it in was difficult. However, they accommodated this also by letting me take the car by myself without the typical Go around the block and buy way other dealers do. No pressure when declining vehicle warranties and other extras. Overall a great experience. Rodney was a great sales guy! Pricing was fair too!

I have been getting all of my service done here for over 20 years. Marc Kubil, Robert Fellows, and the service technicians are all superb in their attention to detail. They have kept my cars running perfectly and I would never go anywhere else.

They love to tell you they only have one porter and it’ll take over an hour or they’re closing so they don’t have to wash your car. Which is included with the purchase of your car. It’s a script they pass on to each other to discourage you from coming for the car wash.

I came in to Autobarn Volvo prepared to battle, because buying a car sometimes feels like a battle. However, nobody there was ever pushy or put any pressure on me, and I felt like the entire process was comfortable and on my own terms. It was by far the easiest and most comfortable experience I have ever had with a dealership and I would absolutely recommend Autobarn Volvo Oak Park to anyone looking for a Volvo.

Service here is absolutely terrible at least for myself.Theres no honesty here and the mechanic handling my car played the guessing game on what to replace next.There is no time and money for me to go through those loop holes they want me to.Maybe he shouldnt be working on Volvo cars then as a career of hes unusure of whats wrong.Also people dont have money laying around to just keep paying labor and parts for anything you think might be wrong instead of reassuring the real problem.Absolutely upset and sour taste in my mouth.Youve ever been somewhere where no matter what they did or do, the unusual feeling of I shouldnt be here or trust this place kicks in but you still do it.That happened to me with these people of service.First and last time I ever come here.I wish could have given 0 stars but the one star goes to Jamir Garcia which was very helpful and the Cashiers working the service area.Other then that this place is a joke in regards to service, at least seems sales department knows how to treat there customers according by the reviews.Come here if you like getting ripped off and spending money for what they suggest is wrong and whenever they feel like fixing it right to their convenience.

I purchased my XC60 Volvo from the Autobarn Volvo Oak Park in September 2020. I called to schedule an appointment since my parking brake is not working. I asked for a loaner car and I was told not possible, if I want one I have to wait at least two weeks. This is not what I was promised when I purchased the car. Since I dont want to wait that long, I just asked for a ride back and forth to my work (2.4 miles away). Again, not possible, apparently Volvo of Oak Park offers shuttle service only one way. Unacceptable! Very disappointed!

Firas is amazing! He was so kind and made the whole process so smooth, I got my dream car and I am so happy. He answered all my questions and took time to reach out if I needed anything. Everyone there is also nice and friendly. If you are looking for a Volvo I recommend here!

Horrible experience. I called the dealership in the morning and told them the 2018 Volvo XC90 I wanted to see & buy that afternoon.  When I arrived it was stacked behind other cars in the parking lot (no problem this is Chicago and parking is a premium).  But heres the rub.  There were significant paint scratches, the front tires were  nearly bald, and the interior had not been detailed.  There was food ground into the seat perforation of the back seat.   This XC90 had ~38k on it.  It was probably a lease turn in.  Obviously the 1st owner did not perform proper maintenance on this vehicle and the dealership did not feel the need to prep the vehicle for sale.very disappointing.#Long drive #Waiste of time #Never go to Autobarn Volvo Oak Park again!

Outstanding service on every respect. Very honest about what does and doesnt need to be done and more experience than any other service department. Car was extremely clean afterwards better than when taking it to car wash. Worth the extra drive instead of using a different Volvo dealer.

This is the 2nd time Ive worked with Jimmy at Autobarn Oak Park. It is the only 2 times I have ever gone car shopping that I can say, I actually had FUN!!! The whole experience at Autobarn has been pleasant, from sales, finance and service. Cant imagine settling for anything less.

Although signs were posted that masks should be worn, there were at least three male employees not wearing masks of any kind. One was a service representative seated right by the cashier. The other two seemed to work upstairs and passed several times though the customer waiting area there. There is no excuse for this endangerment of your customers who need their cars serviced during a pandemic. There were no loaners available and I had no choice but to sit there and be exposed by your careless employees for the duration of two and a half hours. Very disappointing. (My service rep. Rob, was wearing a mask, thank goodness, and his service was excellent.)

This was the best car buying experience my girlfriend and I have ever had. No annoying salesman gimmicks that we always seemed to encounter with other car purchases. Firas was great to work with. Vehicles are overpriced so much at this location that the banks will not approve your loan. They really did a number on my credit score too.

I had a wonderful experience buying my car here. Jimmy, helped us so much to find exactly what we were looking for and was very diligent. He is super detailed oriented, a great listener, and very knowledgeable. He was very patient with us, cheered me up and at the end we found exactly what we wanted. Last June I drove 5 hours from the Detroit area to look at and purchase a CPO 2017 Volvo S90. I was told the car was thoroughly inspected to meet the CPO standards by Volvo. On my way back to Detroit I noticed a vibration at highway speeds. Since that time Ive had the car into a local dealership for what they are saying is bent rims. They also showed me where one of the rims has been spray painted. Two of the rims have since been repaired and one replaced and I still have a vibration. When I test drove the car I mentioned a noticeable sound in the headliner, the sales person said to take it to a dealership near my house and it would be covered under warranty. When the vehicle gets wet from rain or a carwash there is a horrible smell like cat urine coming from the vents that should have been noticed when the car was washed at the dealership. The local dealership said they noticed it right away after washing the car. They want $360 to sanitize the vents. My point in this review is what I thought was a CPO Volvo that had 170+ items inspected and repaired or replaced is not what I purchased. The rims, headliner and smell are all noticeable items that should have been addressed before the car was offered for sale. I take responsibility for not noticing these things when I looked at the car and signed the paperwork. Had I done a closer inspection or if this same car was offered at a local dealership, I would NOT have purchased it. I will never again drive 5 hours to purchase a vehicle sight unseen.

Im in the car business and can honestly say I was blown away by the experience I had at Volvo Cars Oak Park... I reached out to find out about purchasing an new Volvo and connected with Lorena Mena. Not only was she responsive to my 101 questions, she searched to find me the vehicle I wanted (and even upgraded my wheels for me!) and delivered it just when she said she would. When my husband and I came to pick up the vehicle, it was washed and sitting right in front of the dealership. She took us for a quick drive, explained all the features and we were out of there in record breaking time. She gave me the type of experience I try to give my own customers and I was beyond impressed! What an experience! 5 stars all around. I had to get online and write this review for Volvo Autobarn. I live in San Diego and flew out to Chicago to buy a car from these guys. They had a used Porsche Panamera that they took in on trade that I was interested in. Honestly it was a little overwhelming to think how I could pull this off. Richard the GM and Rich my sales guy were so great. Every request I had, they took care of. They even took the car 20 miles away for me to get a PPI inspection at a Porsche dealership. Once I got there the paperwork was ready and there were no surprises. Overall fantastic experience and my car is being shipped out to me as I write this.

I bought a car on line and wast told that i would get my car in a timely manner....being sent on a transport since i live out of state. They cashed my check january 9...and still no sign of it nor the title that they said they were going to fed ex me. also...they had my name spelled wrong on every document i had to sign and fedex back to them even though they had a phot of my drivers license. wonder when i will ever get my car ?????

Had a lovely experience. Taking my niece car shopping. Had a strict budget for what she can afford but their is no harm trying to get her the best car for her budget. Found a lovely used car and started negotiating. The reason my niece took me and not her mom was that I like research and I like to negotiate. I had Kelley blue book trade in and buy price. Consumer report black book and NADA price. Yes I am basically a horrible person to haggle over a car with. We asked for the lowest price that we could possible get. Our offer was too low but they didn’t spit in our face and basically work with us to show what they had in it and why they couldn’t go lower. We decided to look more but after a week we tried one last time. Another 50 bucks off and it seems minor but they were trying and it was a lovely car. Yup we got a deal. Wish I love Volvos cause they would have a life long customer. Still will be my first check if I need something used. Wish them a ton of success in the future!

I just purchased (11/30) a new 2020 XC90 with Firas Alqahef. I started researching the vehicle I wanted to purchase several weeks ago and went to Autobarn for a test drive. By the time I was ready, I had narrowed my search between two Volvo dealerships and Firas went above and beyond to earn my trust and sale! He and his GM came in with an aggressive offer that beat the other Volvo dealership; eliminating the back and forth I could do without. The financing woman (Tiffany) was super efficient and expeditious. She had me in and out within 10 minutes. After the paperwork was signed and Firas delivered the keys he sat with me in my new car (about 30minutes) to go over the mechanicals and set up the electronics with me!! Superb attention to detail!! The Autobarn has a well oiled operation in place. I am looking forward to going there for all my maintenance/service work as well. I recommend this dealership and Firas particularly!

Initially I was very impressed at how helpful Lorena and Jerry were, helping me navigate the process. I did have to remind Lorena to give me the cars history. At one point, I asked her how are the tires and she said that she didnt know. She did her best, but for her and the service team to let me drive out of the lot without disengaging the prior owners security code was such poor customer service. The next AM I was able to get in the car, it right up. I then got locked in the car and somehow I was able to get the passenger window open. I called the dealership and spoke to Hassan. He came over and again was very polite. Finally after he tried to get in the car, he mentioned that it must be the prior owners code not having been disengaged. My big compensation was that H@R towed it, no cost to me and when it was ready, Lorena dropped the car off. Once I had a problem, I was understood that everyone is trained to be polite but almost robotic in terms of the human factor. Yes, I understand how frustrating you must feel, and we will do everything we can ....

Everyone was very nice and accommodating, not pushy or aggressive with sales tactics or games like other dealerships. We were able to get me into a 2019 lease very quickly. I can recommend the service work performed at this location. I’ve had thousands of dollars of service at Autobarn in the past and I believe their work is thorough. However, I have major concerns with their pricing practices. Following some minor work I was given an invoice to pay at the cashier. The invoice had the prices and work performed. The cashier indicated that the amount I owed was ~15% higher than the invoice provided to me only minutes before. When I asked for a breakdown on the price increase the cashier became upset and wouldn’t explain the price increase. Another employee then took my invoice, crossed out the amount charged, and increased it on my invoice. I paid the invoice. Working with a mechanic requires trust, and I have sincere questions about the integrity of this operation.

I have been to many lots lately and you were by far the most helpful, honest and knowledgeable salesperson I have met.Truly cheerful and if he did not know something, he got right on it and delivered an answer in minutes.... not hours or days.From first look at their website to signing the final paper, this dealership took the time and effort to make sure everything was taken care of in a smooth and efficient manner. Spotlessly cleaned car with a full tank of fuel when you leave !!!

Most of our friends have the XC90 and suggested we visit OP Volvo while looking to purchase a new car and I was beyond impressed. I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Volvo Oak Park. I had searched all over Chicagoland for an XC60 with the right color choice and options for my wife as a surprise for her birthday. Lorena reached out to me right away after I learned that Oak Park had a vehicle with the options I was looking for. I stopped by the same day and completed the transaction in about an hour or so. It was likely the smoothest vehicle purchase I’ve ever made (and I’ve had several). Lorena was even nice enough to drive the car to me and drop it off on her day off so I could keep it a secret for my wife (and she was surprised and delighted!). My experience with Lorena and Volvo Oak Park was a great introduction to the Volvo family. Very pleased.

Ive been coming here for more than ten years. Ive been getting cars serviced or repaired, as the case may be, for more than fifty years. This is without a doubt the best of all of the service department I know. Its clean, well-maintained, efficient, punctual, reliable. And Marc Kubil is a model of professionalism, courtesy. He runs a tight ship! Hes the reason I dont mind driving fifteen miles to get there, waiting in the show room till the job is done, and driving fifteen miles back. If a repair takes longer than I can afford to wait, he has always arranged a loaner for me, so that I can drive home and come back the next day.

We purchased our vehicle with Jay Conley at this dealership, his knowledge of our new Volvo was very helpful and he was happy to have us do multiple test drives to find the car we liked best. I didnt feel pressured and our negotiation process was very fair. I felt we got a great car for the price and my husband and I both love all the amazing features that Jay was able to explain to us on the test drive.
