Stopped by this place on Thursday, 7/29 during the Oak Park Thursday night coupon thingy and ordered a pair of samosas. My wife and I absolutely loved them and felt that these were the best that weve tasted out of the many that we have sampled from a copious number of places. Whoa! Amazing! Thank you and we will be back!

Loved the table by the window where I could sit and watch the world go by. The iced Kashmiri latte was perfect…not too sweet and with the perfect touch of cardamom. And the samosas were awesome!

My family stopped by Wise Cup on a recent visit to Oak Park. My raspberry oolong cold brew tea was amazing…and that’s coming from a woman with a full bureau packed with tea. The rest of my family loved their latte & cold brew coffee. Lovely staff. Wish I lived in Chicagoland & could visit Wise Cup every weekend! I purchased two bags of Sputnik tea before leaving to help me keep bring the good experience home.

The place is very clean and relaxed, and the drinks are fantastic. Also I dont want to call them baristas but you know what I meN are very personable.

Great staff. 3 weeks ago visited on Sunday and I appreciated the girl who bring our coffee. I feel welcome.

I always love the coffee. I tend to get one of the variety of coffees they have for pour over. It is very nice to see a coffee place that focus on that. The food is also great. The menu is limited, but I think that tends to help the quality.

Soon to be rebranded as Wise Cup, the service and cold brew tea was outstanding. The new owners are also working to make the place their own and, if I were a nearby resident, I would be excited.

Delicious Honey Cinnamon Latte! Wise cup will definitely be our new coffee spot! The owners are very kind and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing! Thankful to have them just down the street. Dentists love coffee too. :)

What a great little coffee shop. The owner really knows her stuff and is happy to geek out with you. After the first time I came, I really had to come back for a second pour over. Really high quality simple experiences. Highly recommend!

How did I never notice this place before? Im glad they rebranded, because I think it makes it more noticeable? Or the fact they serve kathi and samosas on the weekends? I highly recommend both as a weekend treat. It was definitely too hot for chai when we stopped in, but Im going to pop in regularly - this place is great!

Spend about half my time in Oak Park. This is my Saturday morning catch up spot. Laptop and a perfect Red Eye to get me going. Service is excellent, environment is cozy and inviting. A great way to start my weekends!!

Great place for a quality pour over coffee preparation. Perfect bar to sit at and get some work done. Spinach croissant is great for a savory snack.

One of the top coffee shops in town, and THE BEST cappuccino - besides the only samosas you can get with coffee! Locally owned and DELICIOUS!!

Cafe Descartes is a wonderful addition to the lake street downtown area-- the owners did a beautiful job with the interior of such a tight space and the cafe is a wonderful place to park down for an hour or two with a book or a friend. There are many vegan options on the menu, and the owner made a dairy free version of their turtle mocha for me and its probably one of the best lattes Ive ever had.

I heard about this place so yesterday I made up my mind and decide to give a try. I had a caramel macchiato and it was delicious ... something else compared to Starbucks ( even if I love Starbucks). The atmosphere is very friendly and cozy. I’ll definitely come back

This newly opened independently-owned coffee shop is just the right fit for Oak Park. The atmosphere is lively and fresh with a number of paintings of famous philosophers adorning the walls. So far Ive had the house blend pour over which was very flavorful. I enjoyed the atmosphere and intend to come back.

I ordered the vanilla caramel latte. It was exactly the consistency I wanted. The cafe was a little small, seating for about 20 people. Good service, the barista was attentive and helpful.

They make a good cup of coffee and a really quality latte for a reasonable price. They are my go to for coffee when I am passing through or doing business in Oak Park. The have baked goods and a food menu aswell which all look great.

I had a few minutes before meeting a client, so I stopped in. It was perfect. A good cup of coffee, Quick Service, and a nice bar of chocolate.

This place had one of the best chai lattes Ive had. They also accommodate with soy milk for us lactose intolerant people. I would reccrecom it hot versus cold.

Their coffee is superlative and the bredth of beverage options is considerably larger than most cafes. The samosas are a surprising but excellent pastry option. Some of the friendliest service that I have ever recieved. Do yourself a favor and give this one a shot.

Very efficient and friendly place. They serve excellent coffee and pastries. The first saturday of each month they serve indian street food. They are right near the lake movie theater. I like to purchase a cappaccino there and then drink it while watching a movie. The young couple who run Wise Cup could not be nicer.
