Tire was completely flat and twisted. Called in, they said come on down. Arrived at shop and was cheerfully acknowledged. They examined the tire and determined that a patch would safely fix the problem. Although they were pretty busy, I was out in a relatively quick time. And on top of that, since my purchase of the tires was a short time ago, there was no charge for the visit. I would have happily paid, but I appreciated the service. My mechanic recommended this place to me to get my tires replaced. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and replaced my tires in well under an hour. They also made sure I knew that they do free tire rotations every 5,000 to 7,000 miles for anyone who buys tires from them.

Got an oil and filter change. Waited for my car and had a delightful convo with the office employee who coordinates the work- also renewed my acquaintance with Flo who worked at Marte Auto Repair and now works at George Oren. They were busy when I was there but time passed quickly and my car was done. Paid a reasonable price - I would go back to George Oren again. Totally pleasant experience.

Overall great experience. I brought my car in to see if they could patch a hole in my tire. I called morning of and the said to come in. They fixed it quickly and were not only very friendly, but they also didn’t try to oversell me on anything. Will go back to them again and would recommend!

Ive been coming here for yrs, as needed for tires. Theyre the best. Called first re one tire that was losing air + was told to come down same day. Staff is professional in a friendly, helpful casual way. Tested and patched the tire. They told me condition of other tires and approx when I may need to replace. They dont try to up-sell.On a COVID protocol note: the two chairs that had been in the office/waiting room were outside and 6 ft apart. Front office women and all customers were masked as were most of employees who were working on cars ( work area is open air and set apart). All in all, very good experience @ a very reasonable price. George Oren Tire is really good. Ive been using them for my tire needs for about six years or so. They always have good prices and the staff is excellent – knowledgeable and happy to explain what theyre doing. The manager Doug always goes out of his way to make buying tires or getting alignment or whatever a good experience. I would recommend them to anybody that needs tires or tire service of any type.

I’d recommend this place to my mom, that’s how happy I am with their service. I had a punctured tire from running over a bolt, and when I called my dealership they transferred me 6 (!) times and gave me a crazy expensive quote. So I searched for alternatives and picked George Oren because of the high reviews. I called and they asked me to come down that day. My tire wasn’t in stock so they ordered it - it arrived same day and Larry completed the job quickly and expertly the following morning. George Oren Tires provides the kind of friendly, professional and polite service thats become a rarity these days. I found this company online and called them. Doug received me with a gracious and accommodating tone. He ordered the tires I wanted and had them at the shop the very next day. Within 20 minutes of my arrival at the store, my new tires were balanced and installed. This level of service far outstrips anything I have ever experienced at national brand shops like Big O or Costco. And the tires were fairly priced as well. I went in with a flat for a repair but the utility knife blade was partially down on the sidewall, so they had to order a replacement and it arrived and was mounted a day sooner than they forecast, so I was pleased. This is a good old school business, and Ill use them again.

They told me I could come in right away, and when I pulled up the mechanics greeted me warmly. I needed a new set of tires and wanted to explore upsizing for better off road handling, everyone at the shop was professional, responsive, and helpful as I considered the decision. The tires we chose arrived the next day and were installed in less than hour, I’ll definitely be coming back next time I need tire help in the bay.

There was a really sweet and helpful young woman who helped me. The price for the tire plug was only $30 and they got to it right away. They weren’t able to get to my other problem because it was lunch time but I’ll come back.

Had an 8:15 am appointment for an oil change, The technician took care of it right away. It took about 15 to 20 minutes altogether. The service was friendly and fast. The only minor squawk I had was having to readjust my seat, otherwise all good.

I had brought my vehicle in for a rear brake inspection. New rotors and brake pads were needed, and Doug and his staff were able to complete the work that very day. Contacted George Oren Tire Service thru Yelp. Got a quick response back. Told them specifically the tires I was looking for and got a response back with a very fair price. Arrived 15 mins early for my 11AM appointment. Before the paperwork was even finished, I saw that my car was already up on the lift being service. I was handed my keys back at exactly 11:02, two minutes after my scheduled service time. By far the best service Ive ever had getting tires.

Had went in for an alignment and their prices were super reasonable. They said it would be an hour wait time but they took care of me so fast that it only took about half that time. I also had a little dent that cause my driver side door to not be able to open correctly that they fixed! Went above and beyond with their customer service and I drove out of there very happy. Would definitely recommend to a friend who needs an alignment or tires :)

They were great! Were able to fix a very slow leak on a tire on my friends car that I later found out shed taken to two separate places in the past that had both shrugged their shoulders and said the tire looked fine. Turns out the tire pressure sensor/valve housing in the tire rim itself was corroded and leaking. Whole thing was fixed, sensor/valve replaced and programmed, in like 30m and for an extremely reasonable price. Very satisfied!

At the advice of my regular mechanic, I went to George Oren Tire Specialist in Oakland to have a leaky tire repaired. The fellow who worked on my tire was very careful about not scratching my rim, removed the nail that caused the leak, thoroughly prepared the tire to adhere the patch, and cleaned the rim prior to putting the tire back on the car. His attention to detail was exactly what I wanted from someone who was working on my vehicle. The $30 tire repair fee was very reasonable. I am going back for all of my tire needs in the future.

Came in on a Friday to get a tire repaired, because of the type of puncture I ended up needing to replace the tire. Doug and Ryan were great! They didnt have my tire in stock but were able to order it and have it in by Monday. They even gave me a loaner tire so I wouldnt have to use my spare tire through the weekend! I wasnt able to stop by on Monday, but Tuesday they had me in and out even without an appointment. Doug mentioned being a 3rd generation owner of the business and having many 2nd and 3rd generation customers, I can see why people come back here! In a world where good service is becoming a lost art Doug and his team at George Oren are providing great service! Not only will I come back, but Ill recommend them to any friends and family for all of their tire needs. I wasnt looking forward to the tire repair but now Im almost glad it happened because I found a great local business to support and enjoyed chatting with Ryan and the guys while I was there. I was recommended this tire place by my mechanic. All I needed was a new tire on my spare. They had the tire in stock and fitted me in on a busy Friday morning. There was no attempt to try and sell me anything I didnt need and they included a rotation without cost! The pricea was very reasonable. I felt welcome and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The office manager made a special effort to welcome me as a new customer and took the time to say goodbye when I left. Dont hesitate to use this place, Ill definitely be back.

Ryan was very helpful and had excellent customer service. He was able to help me choose a set of 4 new tires. I called in the morning and had told him what time I would be able to come in. When I came I was greeted and directed to the office to wait. I was greeted by Ryan even though he was with another customer. Even though Ryan was busy answer phones and ensuring the shop ran smoothly, he made time to answer my questions and address my concerns about my brakes. All the staff I met the day I came in was professional and friendly. I would definitely return and recommend them to my family and friends.

If you need tires, go here. If youre hesitant, call them first. They are one of the few places in Oakland that answer their phone quickly and will give you a straight up answer on price. Their customer service is on point and their pricing is at or below others in the area. Plus they do free inspection and rotation every 5,000 miles. I wont buy tires from anywhere else from now on.
