Ive went in multiple times trying to find the right ponytail and each time the employees have acted like serving me was an inconvenience. Ive tried to be precise and succinct in the way I explain what I need and each time, the employees talk over me, mansplain what I need, and on two occasions, proceeded to sell me the wrong thing while assuring me it would work. If you dont have the right product, just politely say so. Dont condescend and talk over people. Just plain rude. This store is probably fine if you can help yourself but if you need assistance in any way I would go elsewhere.

They are amazing and always so accommodating even as they are closing to go home the staff is still in smiles when providing service, because of course who hasnt lost their edge control last minute.... Thank you for taking calm control in smoothing my edge.

They have good stuff but if you pay with a credit/ debit it has to have a chip otherwise you pay cash. I dont think thats right. Not everyone has a card with a chip

You already don’t have a website for me to look at, it’s not too out of your way to let me know how much a pack of hair is so I can know how many I need and not waste my gas. I traveled a long way to come to this store as soon as I got to the entrance I was greeted by a gentleman with a pleasant smile and hand sanitizer welcoming to the store. The place is huge they have everything I needed .

Liyah got two caps free, good prices, good selection. People profile but in this instance she was extra polite and tried not to be obvious. Well played Miss Asian lady.

I have to agree with another review stating how rude the people are. Especially the older asian guy (I assume he owns the business) that is behind the large counter as soon as you walk in.I inquired about human hair for braiding and hes starts spouting out how expensive it is, like I couldnt afford it. I was totally turned off by this place and will not be giving them my money.

Me personally I hate spending my money where I feel like the people hate me because of my skin. The old lady there is a special kind of demon.

They have a huge selection, good prices, but the staff is rude AF. Ive literally never gotten good service here, and it feels like anti-blackness (at a place for BLACK HAIR CARE). Hire BLACK, friendly, hair saavy cashiers and we good.

Use the bathroom before you go. They dont let customers use their facilities. Great selection of wigs but most have a small wig cap.

These people sold a synthetic wig to me at a high price and the lady lied to me that it was human only to reach home and the wig was synthetic. Something should be done because that’s not legal.

This is a RACIST establishment, my boyfriend and I, a Black couple were racially profiled for stealing in the store and the owner ran up on us and realized we werent. He ran up so quick it traumatized me. Then to make matters worse we were harassed by his wife the rest of the time we were in there. Black ppl we need our own businesses we put so much money in the pockets of the people who will bite our hands!! Moral of the story: We need our own businesses, DO NOT shop here!

It has a lot of products to choose fromb ut the customer service is TERRIBLE. I tried on two wigs and the lady( though is not) said okay you cannot try on anymore. I had not planned on it bc I did not like the way she treats her customers. She was rushy, and she was arguing when I said take it off when one wig did not fit.They do not employ Black people who are 99% of their customers. Some shops do. And they need to especiallt when it is only two people working there. They need to have three full time Black women or men working there.

I like this place. I think that the CITY of Oakland is purposely making PARKING on Telegraph Ave Difficult in hopes that they can Stop the Patronage of Business that cater to African American People. Oaklands Homelessness appears like a 3rd World Country...displacement of people. Gentrification is so REAL. The Elected Officials should be ashamed. Obviously, it is more about MONEY and High Rents and Renters who often work in SF,Ca.

Easy to locate whatever you are looking for, and helpful staff. This store is right off of the freeway, near a bus line, and easy to get to.

Stock is huge, price is good. But the lady in the back who service the woman wigs, attitude is too bad. When I asked return policy, she said no, and said bye bye you with angery. I will never go again

I went in here to buy some wax-pomade but ended up not getting anything because the store clerk was a complete prick, he followed me around like I was a thief, and all their products are overpriced. I piss on this place, and I would give it zero stars if I could.

It is a large place and has lots of beauty products. But there prices are much higher for the same products other stores in the area carry for a lot less. I opted to purchase the product at another store.
