I had a flat tire nearly 2 years ago. This company is near me, and so I went to them to get it fixed. They told me that all of my tires were wearing down badly, and needed to be replaced. I told him that I wanted a mid range set of tires because I wasn’t driving very much anymore but still wanted quality.Now it is nearly 2 years and 18,000 miles later, later, and that entire set of tires needs to be replaced. Why? Because they told me I was getting a mid range set a tires with perhaps 70,000 mile warranty. what I got was a set of tires with a 35,000 mile warranty, or one year, whichever Comes first. Since the average driver goes about 12,000 per year, that warranty was worthless.I am just about as certain as I can be that I told them what I wanted, and they told me that I would be getting it. I know myself, and I would not buy a cheap set of tires just to save some money.I will not be going back to them. Not now, not ever. I would advise you to go elsewhere.

I had an issue with my sensor on my tires and got all 4 brand new replace with them, Currently a sensor went bad after a few months but giving them a call to let them know they told me to come back so they can check it out. I came back they scan all sensor and found 1 that was just defected. They replace the sensor for me and free of charge as well. I really appreciate the business they do here and being honest about everything. I recommend this place overall because of the fact they will take care of your issue and not ignore it if they cant fix it. I will be coming back for future business with them.

Best tire shop in the town. Affordable and they will work with you even if your a little short. On the plus side they will definitely hook you up. Pull up if you need your tires plus more.

This is where I have been getting our tire repairs and new tires since moving to Oakland. I usually deal with Ricky and Ish. Quick and usually the best price. It definitely beats going to the benz dealer and 9/10 beats prices around Oakland when I check. Customer service is straight to the point and honest.

I would have giving a 5 star, but I was really against them not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. Absolutely no one that worked in the shop were wearing masks. Thats pretty irresponsible, and inconsiderate to customers. I did ask the guy why they werent wearing one, his answer was, because they havent had a customer for an hour, and they forgot to put them back on. Im pretty sure that they dont live in the same households. There will always be some people that just doesnt take things serious enough.

I recently had new tires installed here. Their prices are extremely cheap and the service was friendly and fast enough although there where absolutely no covid precautions in place. If you have an older vehicle that youre just trying to keep going or cant afford a better service than this is the place for you! However Im giving it 2 stars for the condition of my brand new rims after installation all 4 of which were scraped or scratched from the changing process. Also check your tire pressure after they as they had set all 4 tires to totally random preshers and it feels like the balancing may be off. Conclusions you get what you pay for.

Got a flat and used a Tite-Seal spray that seemed to the trick, but we werent sure it was really safe to drive long-term. Went to this tire shop and Sam was super kind in sharing the options and his honest opinion that the tire should still be ok to use but maybe better on the back wheel than the front wheel that gets more usage. He checked the tire thoroughly, switched it to the back tire, and said come back if it happens to leak. No charge or push to buy a brand new tire, just honest support. Amazing! Will def be back for any service issues they may be able to address.

Been here a few times to have my tires installed after some major hassles with some big chain tire shops. The staff is friendly and helpful. They work hard and fast. I did buy my tires online and had them installed. They balanced them perfectly! The attendant also said he could give me the same or a better price next time.

Dont come here unless you plan on coming back a couple times not only once. Brought my car to get its front wheels balanced, they got it done I left drove on freeway and boom horrible vibration. Went back and asked them what was going on, no one wanted to say anything and if you asked any further all u would hear is sarcasm after a while of pushing them to say what was wrong finally one employee came up to me to tell me my tire had flat spots, like umm arent they suppose to tell me that before re installing the wheels on my car. I mean I have to be Honest customer service was the best... yeah not all the employees have negative attitudes and are willing to argue with you any chance they get.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The mechanics are quick and skilled at what they do. I was in and out relatively quickly without any hassle. Their prices were reasonable and they stuck to the price they quoted me.

I went to get an alignment, they were honest and said they could do it but my tie rods were worn and it may not align well. He suggested that I just rotate the tires. I appreciated that he didnt just take the money and try. Honest folks. Good prices on tires.

Nice guys and fair prices. Thought I just needed a patch in my tire and he was going to charge me half of the other shop I visited. Turned out the hole was in my side wall. Got a replacement tire for a great price and was outta there in about 15 minutes total.

Came in to get a patch on a tire Ive patched a couple of times before. They didnt try to upsell me. I decided to ask for a used wheel. They did inform me of my front brake rotors needing to be changed.(Something I already knew). Ill be coming back here in the future.

I was riding by and impulsively stopped in at A Plus Tire and Wheels to look at a set of 19 rims for my 2008 S550. The wheels on my Benz are staggered, and I had just recently bought a new set of tires. The service technician that I initially spoke with noticed that the tires that should be in the front were in the back and vise versa. Clearly, the new tires I had installed were put on my car backwards, which was something that I had never noticed. While I shopped, A Plus rotated my tires and corrected a problem that I didnt even know I had. The wheels I found were surprisingly affordable too! I did not make a purchase that day nor was I pressured to do so. Even though I did not buy anything I was not charged for the corrective tire rotation service. I will definitely go back to A Plus and support Rickys new business in the very near future. Thanks Brother...

My tire ran over a big screw and they where able to patch my tire upon my immediate arrival. The mechanics where super fast and did quality repair, which had me back on the road, safely again. I recommend this tire shop.

After calling several tire stores in oakland i came across a plus tires and wheels they were able to give me four brand new tires for my 2017 toyota camry for 380 out the door! All the other shops for same exact brand and size were asking for 420. some might say i saved only $40 but personally 40 bucks means a full tank of gas. they also gave me free flat repair, rotation and balance life of tire i will be back for all my tire and wheel needs!

Got a flat tire at 4:30pm on Saturday. Luckily A Plus is open until 6pm. Fast, efficient, friendly, despite an initial blank look from the guys working there. A greeting might be nice so customers know who works there.

Very bad experience! It was a wet n raining day when I stop by. Had a nail in my tire went there to get it patch. They told me my tire is too old for a batch, I need another tire. For a temporary fix I got a used tire. I left and on my way to continue my errands. My car was loud as if my tire were gonna fall off. Few days later I went to a brake place to get my brakes done they told me I need that tire replace bc it was a bad tire. So it’s no wonder my car was making such loud noise. My whole car damn near shook. I felt totally betrayed and got ripped off. I would never go to this place ever again. In my opinion, they sure love to take advantage of a girl.

Dont get an alignment from this guys. They dont know what their doin. It was $100 for an alignment but since they didnt finish their job and did not fix the alignment i told them i will only pay for half. But instead they still have me pay for thr full price. Worst experience and waste of time. This is an honest review.

BEWARE!! My rims got severely scratched after getting new tires installed on my wheels from this place. They are extremely rough when yanking the tires onto the wheel which crowbars.MAKE SURE to check your wheels for scratches after getting tire service from this place...

Came in for a simple tire change. Their tires were too expensives so i asked them to put my spare tire on so i can drive to a trusted tire shop. A SIMPLE TIRE CHANGE, THAT COST $10 TURNED OUT TO COST ME $1,300. HE PUT MY SPARE ON BACKWARDS!! MY SPARE FELL OFF ON THE HIGHWAY, AND WHEN I CAME BACK TO SHOW HIM, ALL HE SAID WAS I DIDNT HAVE A RECIEPT SO HE DOESNT HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES.... THING IS I NEVER GOT A RECEIPT FROM THEM. IT WAS A QUICK JOB. SO FRUSTRATING. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE

Got my tires changed here. Usually cheap means poor quality, but not with these guys. Their tires have outlasted the ones I got from Costco, and at half the price. Also went there to get an alignment and the mechanic discovered that my bushings had worn out and showed me under my car where my problems were without charging me. Will definitely go back here again!
