Cute and awesome little place with tonnes of buttons, threads, and fabric options. The two people running the place when I was there are the sweetest. Note that if youre buying a few items, bring the tube up to the register for them so they can calculate the price for you with more ease! The thread was great for fixing up my cats torn up catbed and restuffing my IKEA shark, I couldnt be more happy with the quality and the colour selections. 🐱 They have a table where you bring up your chosen rolls of fabric and they will cut it for you, so be sure to know the length you need for your projects for when you go! I will definitely be back to get some fabric for trying my hand at my first curtains.

What a nice independent fabric store full of well chosen fabrics. They carry beautiful wools, Japanese fabrics, linens, and novelty fabrics. They also carry quilting fabrics and flannel. An oasis for garment sewers in a world of more craft-oriented stores full of fleece and quilting cottons.

Great little fabric store in the Piedmont district of old Oakland. Small, with reduced prices on upper end textiles. ASG members remember to ask for your discount. Street parking is hard, there is a parking lot on the corner for paid parking. Shopkeeper was friendly and helpful. Many restaurants in the surrounding area.

Great selection of quality fabric: fashion, jersey, Liberty of London, Nani Iro, upholstery and quilting fabrics. They have a *few* patterns, some notions: great for ribbons, Velcro, buttons and strapping. The owner is awesome, shes very happy to offer advice and details about the fabric. She is usually wearing something lovely she has seen herself. The other staff are very knowledgable too. Its a great shop!

This place has plenty of fabric and notions, but there is something a bit limited about it. I tend to prefer bigger stores with more space and greater selection.
