Always friendly staff ready to help. We come her to drop off packages (especially for returns for online purchases) and they are always friendly.

Ive had a private mailbox at this little place for over 12 years. Many other local folks do as well. Same friendly owners, respectful staff and great service. Couldnt ask for more.

Local business making the best of a difficult situation (restricted entry, no room to enter and wait for help in what was always a small, crowded space). The wait line forms outside on a busy sidewalk and it can be s-l-o-w getting your turn at the temporary service desk just inside the doorway, depending on how complicated earlier customers needs are. Its one person event at a time... Overall, the day I went was not too painful, though I did watch the store traffic from my parking spot across the street for at least 10 minutes waiting for the line to shrink and sidewalk space to clear. There was a customer altercation that seemed to have something to do with not wearing a mask. Most passersby wear them; a few do not. Its in a busy retail area (a bank, restaurants, Post Office) on a busy, major thoroughfare approaching a busy freeway entrance. Avoid likely busier times, middays, and sunny days when you can. Accepts FedEx and UPS packages and provides several other mail-related services. The large, fierce brilliantly blue shorebird (pelican?) mural painted on the boarded up store window makes a statement. And a difference.

I know we’re in a pandemic and everything but the 2 guys working are chillin on the counter drinking beer in the open at 10 am no masks. I’m good. Won’t be going there for a long while

Living in busy Oakland can definitely offer challenges when it comes to receiving packages. Many times the deliveries fall short of making it to the customers hands but luckily there is Private mailbox and General store. I am especially grateful for Leo who always knows exactly where my packages are no matter how busy or the time of year, he takes the time to say hello and ensure quality service. Wonderful for shipping out or receiving shipments I recommend this as a staple to our community.

They have gone out of their way several times.... above and beyond the call of duty.... to make sure i am a happy customer.... Highly recommend them if you are looking for some good olde fashioned service that USPS long ago forgot about...

Been with them for years(10 plus)!!!! No problems, friendly and safe.

On Saturday, I went to pick up a package. When I arrived, Ray, the manager said that there was no package for me, nor could he recall any package from Canada, the origin of my package. He looked around and came back and told me there was nothing. I called UPS; they said Ray had signed for it. UPS called 8 times and no one answered, and that was at 1pm, when I know they are open! Be careful...there is something not right here. I will post an update.

But if u notice they got more biz then the usps in regards to safe secured shipping and receiving. I even drive from Sonoma County to go here and GSW play here in oakland that alone automatically 5star off da bat..cheers
