The food prices are great but the store is for people who can take or leave masks. Many customers wear masks around their chins and the policy is not enforced. I was told by the floor mgr. that they cannot follow people and tell them anything. Good prices, again, but not enough to risk my life. I will not be going back there.

It’s a good and affordable place to shop your grocery. The things I don’t like about these kind of stores are the level of cleaning and customer care. I know the ppl shop here are not rich but this should not really count. We are still human and we are making business with you, so consider this as an advice to improve. Was standing in long lines like always mid evening when a mouse appear right in front of all customers to look from one cashier to the next. little mice carry disease, germs an it’s not right, ever visit a luckys store super clean almost never waiting lines oh way better produced. Luckys should invested a little more in the underprivileged neighborhood. Better service an make an easy for customer to fine resource on better eating an obesity. After all u are what u eat.

Im giving it 4.5 stars. The rank and file employees are awesome. Couldnt recommend more. The night time manager is not. Although not directed at the public, publicly he has displayed arrogant, aggressive contempt for employees. It has caused massive moral decline amongst employees as well as set a bad ambiance. Several employees have left the company due to it recently. I support this company(and Save Mart) as the employees are union represented, they are a California company(founded in Modesto), and even during the last covid surge they stayed open later than anyone else. I work odd hours plus covid doesnt care about time and its less packed at 10 at night so thats important to me. They have the second best price in the area, which is important as its too expensive already here, especially for the working poor.FYI I dont work for and am not paid in any way for my opinion by Save Mart or anyone else. Convenience and can mostly find common household stuff including groceries at good prices but the best thing is its open till 12midnite which helps out alot

Theres nothing here I can get . Tried to find some automotive stuff they have no automotive area in the FoodMaxx at jingletown they dont even know their own store I asked to cash you she was Im on a break but Ill listen rude I wont go back to that store even for emergencies Ill find another store I thought pack and save could be a store food store for me but no the people are rude and they dont know exactly what they carry in their own store wont ever go back.

Ive been coming to this location for 2 years and its gotten better. Maybe its under new management or they got new employees, either way the check out is much faster and have enough check out lines open. It may not be the fastest to some but its a big improvement. I would of rated it 2 stars 18 mths ago.

Picked up a few things for the house. Really good prices and lots of lines so never really a long wait time. Sometimes it is no baskets available.

Foodmaxx has made some very necessary and much appreciated changes to the layout of their store also I have seen personal changes with their staff. Over all a much more enjoyable shopping experience then before. I believe they are doing the best they can in the area they are in. This is why I give them a 4 star.

Open late, I LOVE the STORE, .....[[however]]][ I will say this on a negative note].I saw a HUNGRY,IMPOVERISHED and ELDERLY man take food from this store days ago and the employees reaction made me SICK!!! They ACTUALLY CHASED the clearly famished homeless starving ELDERLY man down, ripping the bag of stolen food from his hands, basically assaulting the poor obviously hungry fellow to take back the stolen food. [Wth!] The elderly starving man was rushed by 4 aggressive employees,a manager, a deli worker, stocker and cashier! One of the workers picked up a canned good from the ground that the guy dropped and proceeded to hurl it like a football at the old man as he tried to hobble away. The poor guy made his way out the parking lot empty handed, humiliated, and abused. This is how we treat a starving member of our community? Stealing is wrong of course, HOWEVER, those workers are out of line, NOT ONE OF THEM wouldve been losing money out THEIR OWN POCKETS if anyone stole anything anyway. These employees were acting as if they had been personally robbed. Even if he wouldve made his way out successfully with the stolen goods, NO ONE wouldve lost ANY THING PERSONALLY. The store doesnt take a cut out of anyones paycheck for items coming up stolen. The store has a certain amount of loss tallied up already for expected situations like damaged goods, stolen goods, etc issues. No one wouldve lost anything except for the hungry guy who didnt get a chance at filling his hungry stomach. WHAT KIND OF WORLD DO WE LIVE IN WHERE WE CHASE DOWN A FELLOW STARVING PERSON TO PUBLICLY HUMILIATE and ENSURE THAT THEY DONT GET TO EAT!?!....all while feeling justified and laughing about it with your other heartless workers like youre better than the man??? Is this what food max is about? How much perfectly good food does this company toss out daily ? They can afford to feed masses of people and still have plenty of merchandise and income thats a fact... and on another note one day youll have to go before your God and pay for keeping food from someone who needed it. Have you ever been hungry and had no way to get food? Its torture... its a devastating feeling. Its so sad... cant believe food max condones doing this to people. Im mortified! As for staff you should be ashamed of yourself. Life will get you back for doing that to the poor man. Nasty pig like behavior. Lets hope you guys never feel the burn of an empty gut topped by fear of trying to fill it and humiliation of not being allowed to! Recently was shopping there. While waiting in line. Passing time on cell. I witnessed a couple rodents . One large one small. Come out from under the center display kiosk. Shocked. That what I was looking at I turned to the people that were in line with me and asked if they saw the same thing I did which they confirmed when I saw so I know I wasnt crazy mentioned it to the employee at the register so yeah Ill let you know anyone on break he didnt tell anybody so thats why I wont stop there no more

I recently moved to Oakland this FoodMaxx has became my new favorite supermarket to shop I love the selection there. My only problem they don’t have most seafood like other FoodMaxx

I had not gone to this food Max in Oakland before but it was quick and clean and the clerks were friendly and helpful.

Easy to get to. But prices are way to high.if I shop there all month Ill end with around a total of 7 days without eating. So I have to only go there twice a month and then Dollar tree twice a month sometimes three times.

I love to shop here. Today is different. Of course you must wear a mask in the store, It is how a couple employees & the guard are wearing them! They are only covering their mouth not their nose and that is scary Both mouth and nose should be covered.

They are doing a remodel. The parking lot has a lot to be desired. It’s really dark the security guard is a robot.

The place is kind of a zoo. But there are some deals to be found. Adams peanut butter is one of my favorite examples. $1.50 cheaper than Safeway and they often have it in stock when Safeway is out. Its a bit chaotic, the lines can be long.

I go here twice a month. This is my sisters favorite grocery store a little to big store feel for me but she loves it.

I really don’t get the complaints—I have to think they’re either outdated or trolling. The store is large and clean and has plenty of parking. The carts are nice and big. They offer great coupons. The produce seemed as fresh as any grocery store. They have everything anyone would want, in regular brands and a wide selection. Every type of milk imaginable, including pea milk—not my speed, I’d never heard of it before and never need to again, but it’s an example of the fact that they have everything. And the prices are great. Not crazy, not too low to be true because the stuff is expired—it’s not—but basically on par with other stores when they put stuff on sale. The place was sparkling clean and fully stocked on a weekday morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were not a lot of cashiers so I can see it being slow, but it wasn’t for me. Really long hours. Recommend.

The store is great. Services and prices are good. The reason I gave one star so this review will get the owner to notice.At checkout, there is a caresole with an Y divider to separate foods between 2 customers. Also there is a rised small counter in front of the clerk. There is one particular clerk that I have noticed what she has been doing. First, as you approach her station she will ask how many wrapping bags do you want, as a distraction. Then she will place one or two items (of mines) sideway, to the other side of the Y, or on top of the small counter, after quickly scanned them, all in a seemingly mindless fashion. As I moved on bagging the food, these items will stay behind. My first time encountered this, I thought someone left something on other side of the Y. Then when asked whose this ? to the items on the counter (which are mine), she didnt answer, eventhough she just placed them there 3 seconds ago. After we got to our car, she walked out to the parking lot as if looking for someone (fake, because we were right in front of her, and this happened twice). This happened to me twice to my food, and at those two occasions, there are also somebodys food left alone on other side of the Y caresole.You know how inconvenience to dress up, loose a street parking spot, drive to the store again in the early morning to get just one item, for breakfast or one important ingredient ?I dont want to show her name here, because it is easy for the owner to find out with available camera records.Let me know if you can correct this problem. Clean well organized grocery store, produce seemed fresh. The spacious layout is welcome making it easy to get carts throughout to store. This store layout reminds me of the old Food 4 Less, not too sure if they are associated.Lottery tickets and scratch offs are available with a vending machine up front by the exit doors.

I am going here tomorow. I called and checked and their hours are 6 am to 12 am. They are not open at 5 am.

Now the bread 🍞 is the best, the 🍞 is the most softest bread i ever bought. Its so so fresh n soft. The best bread is at FoodMaxx.
