Was super excited to check this place out and get real Maine lobster. Was turned off from buying the homemade pies when I saw swarms of flies around them and the fish. So I got a fresh lobster roll for $25 . It was tasty. The lobster tasted very fresh. All tail and claw meat. But the price is a bit steep. I mean, Id pay $18. But $25 is too much. They have homemade jams that are pretty good and I appreciate the produce is local but so much of it was withered. I support local business and mom and pop shops but I most likely wont be back for food safety reasons and expense.

Weve been going to the green spot for six years spring and fall. The sisters put out the best lobster rolls, chicken salad and pies available anywhere. Their produce and baked goods are always a cut or two above anywhere else nearby. They stock lobsters and fresh fish and great choices in frozen lamb and veal. Their wine selections are surprisingly diverse, interesting and well priced. While most things here are a little on the expensive side, the quality justifies the cost. We love the sisters and consider them as much an attraction as the things they sell. Our biggest complaint is that they are only open April-October.

The women who run this place are very friendly and always happy. The food is delicious and the variety is plentiful. My palate will miss them when they take their winter hiatus.

Awesome food. Perhaps priced a little high but still there arent a lot of places like them in the area. Customer service could be a tad better. Every time I go in I feel like I have to try to earn their respective to purchase something.

Extremely overpriced. The staff and owners are very kind helpful people, but the food quality is only ok and waay overpriced. I get the impression that this farm stand is preying on tourists just exiting the interstate. For instance, when I recently entered the store I found almost everything in sight was covered by a cloud of fruit flies. The local peaches were awful, and a lot of the fresh produce was from out of state, when local higher quality cheaper product is easily available. For those hunting for quality maine peaches and other products check out Berry Fruit Farm or any other actual local farm stand.
