Just a few words to praise a business that is run like one should be. Oakland Vision is owned and staffed by folks that actually care for you and you are more than an account number. Being dissatisfied with my previous eye care people and having met the proprietor perhaps a year and a half back in a different venue, I decided to drive a few extra miles for my exam and prescription. Absolutely worth the trip. Friendly, personable and genuine are qualities that simply dont seem to be found, anymore. I highly recommend Oakland Vision and am certain that you will be a client/patient for life, if you try them out.

Amazing staff... I highly recommend going to Oakland Vision and Hearing. Thorough exam and the Dr took the time to explain everything making me feel very comfortable. When picking out my glasses I was given all the help I needed. I especially appreciated the fact that I was guided to what looked good on me and not to the highest price frames just because. Thank you for making this as easy as it could be. To top it all off I was able to go home with my glasses the same day.

I am very happy that I found Oakland Vision and Hearing Center. The Doctor and staff were so nice and helpful. I had my eyes examined by Dr. Nikki and ordered contacts and purchased a new pair of glasses. Brittany and Kristina were so patient and helpful with me while I was picking out my frame. I can’t emphasize enough how nice the staff was. I will definitely recommend them highly to anyone looking for a vision and hearing center.

Great overall experience. The owner Mo made the entire exam/frame picking process hassle free and was very informative. There were no surprises and no one tried to up-sell me anything. The turnaround time for my glasses was also super fast. I will definitely be back!

Best Vision Center Ever!!! Honestly... from the moment we walked in we were in great hands. The attention to detail was incredible. The doctor was thorough and explained everything to my husband in a clear concise manner. Then we met Courtney !!! She is FABULOUS!!! From helping us pick out the perfect frame to making sure we had all the extras we needed. In a few days the glasses were ready and when we picked up Courtney was there to make sure everything was perfect. We would highly recommend them!

Really helpful staff and the optometrist listened and made me feel well cared for. They have a nice selection of frames and made my glasses within a couple hours. Excellent service all around.

This is my new, permanent eye doc and shop. I couldnt be more pleased. I havent needed hearing service yet, but will use them for that too. All of the staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. The doctor is kind, thorough and listens well. The selection of specs and sunnies is deep and they have offered to order me things if that didnt have what I like. It feels good to go to a small business, that is cared for by the owners and staff alike. I strongly recommend this shop and hope you make the trip to meet them.

I am so thankful for the care I received yesterday at Oakland Vision. I have seen a lot of eye doctors over the years and Ive had more than my share of less than desirable experiences. Excuse my wordiness, but I feel so strongly about my visit that I want to shout from the rooftops!To say I was cautious while searching for a new doctor is an understatement. I work in NYC and have hundreds of options within walking distance but I was dismayed to find issue upon issue while looking at reviews.While searching near my hometown in NJ, there were several closer options, but availability was a joke. I did not want to wait weeks to be seen.Imagine my surprise when finding Oakland Vision had absolutely stellar reviews and availability even on a SUNDAY!! A vision center open 7 days a week??? What is this sorcery?!Every single person I dealt with - from the initial call to make my appointment, to the super helpful reminder text messages (sent by a real person, not an automated system), to the staff members in the store when I arrived, to the doctor who was filling in yesterday...absolutely incredible customer service. Beyond incredible. Friendly, kind and made me feel so comfortable when normally I feel rushed, ignored and non-important.They took time to be super thorough, and when we realized my vision is currently transitioning because of health issues, did not push me to purchase frames and lenses which in another month may not work at all for me.As much as I would have loved to walk out of there yesterday with perfect vision, Id much rather take the time to let things settle and have a functional prescription which will actually work for me. Plus, Im not even upset about having to go back, knowing the level of care Im going to receive in the future.Im so, so impressed. Thank you Oakland Vision Center team!

That was probably the best eye exam I’ve ever had. The doctor was very thorough and was able to customize a plan for me. I would highly recommend them and I will continue to be a patient there.

Oakland Vision Center is great. Worlds of a difference from my previous eye doctors office located in a neighboring town. Their communication is amazing and they never have kept me waiting for longer than a few mins before the doctor can see me. Very flexible with scheduling. They made my eye glasses on the spot - I was shocked! In the past at my other doctors office I would have to wait a few days for them have them sent in the mail so I could pick them up. Dr. Nikki is very thorough and addressed my needs each time. I would not hesitant to recommend this office/store for any of your needs. Thanks!

EUREKA! This is the place to go.After reading many reviews on a local blog I decided to give them a try. I was getting very frustrated with my present eye doctor. Very long appointment wait times and wrong prescriptions. Twice! This was a very pleasant experience from the initial appointment to picking up my new glasses. Dr. Sedaghat and her staff are not only professional but they are all very caring and sincere. My appointment was on Tuesday and my glasses were flawlessly ready three days later. Stumbled on them when food shopping, surprised they were open on a Sunday. Had my eyes examed and new glasses in hand within an hour. Staff was very friendly and office super clean. My wife is going back next week to get her eyes checks. Highly recommend!

I brought my father here for an exam and a new pair of glasses. Everything was perfectly acceptable but the glasses themself were expensive. They did include the anti-glare coating at no additional charge.
