I have had a rough time here as of late. Just knowing youre so close by helped. The atmosphere was wonderful and the black kitty so pretty. It feels like shopping in the Practical Magic house. Everyone was so kind and so helpful. I will be back.

There is such a wide collection of crystals, incense, attire, knowledge it was amazing!Its brilliant to place it in such a historical building as well because there are paranormal entities that reside within.They have constant contact with the fae and the girl behind the counter gave me some awesome tips in my own goals to acquaint myself with them!I got the briefly meet who I believe to be the owner and frankly, Ive never met anyone simultaneously so mysterious, wise, empathic, and so magnetic, her energy was, well it draws you in, such that I hope to get to know her and all the staff better.Long story short, this place is the real deal, and you wont regret stopping in! Loved the energy of this place. Such a cool reuse of home for business purposes. Lots to see, so be sure to look high and low. Lighting on somethings is an issue, so be sure to use your cell phone light to light up some of the nooks and crannies where merchandise is placed. Some are in cabinets and some are in a shadowed shelf...so very easy to look at.Books, clothing, bags, rocks tumbled and raw, CDs, incense, statues, jewelry new and antique...so much more!Wish it was closer to where I live, so this would be a great place to put on my list on a shop trip!!🛍️Thee was a reader there that day but I didnt have time to sit with and I understand he is a very good reader and is often there. (Next time on my list!)So if youve never been allow yourself a good 2hours to visit.And they do host drumming!!

I did a tarot reading with Mama, and she knew some incredibly personal issues that I was struggling with and gave me amazingly sound advice. Shes the real thing. It was spooky how accurate she was.

A large selection of items are available but the prices are insane on a lot of things to be honest. Ive been to every occult and metaphysical supply store for fifty miles around, and this place is way higher than most other places.

The lady who is always in there, which I believe is the owner, always helps me out with questions, offers discounts, and tells me about upcoming events. She is really kind and they have unique and beautiful things in their shop. I’ve purchased necklaces and she saged them and made them into black cord necklaces free of charge . Will definitely be my go to (:

This place was absolutely adorable and the staff was very nice and well informed! They even saged every item I got before bagging it for me, and sent home a little extra sage with me as well. I got a pendant while there and they strung it for me as well - all free of charge. Visiting here for vacation, but definitely would love to come back next time I visit! Blessed be!

We were in Ocala visiting our daughter and stopped in here . Absolutely beautiful store, friendly very warm people . There are so many items to choose from . Our 4 yr old grandson was with us and they were super sweet to him as well . They offered the bubbles and chalk outside ( he is hyper ) I bought a piece of jewelry that cost 230.00 it has two different stones . Yes, it was very $$ . I chose the less $$ of two I had my eye on . I’m honestly not sure it’s worth that much, on the other hand I’m not sure it isn’t. I’m not a stone/ crystal specialist. They’re trying to make some money while providing a much needed /appreciated service . We are from NY and this place felt a little like home 💖 I wish we would’ve had the opportunity to meet Jennifer .

I had my first visit to the store today. From walking in the energy was welcoming and positive. I was greeted with a smile and I walked around to see what items called to me. I chose several crystals, sage and a gift for my hubby. I got to meet 2 other ladies there and they were very nice and answered my questions. Great place will def be a return customer. :)

My daughter stops in at least once a week and I finally came back for the first time last night since the fire years ago! (I didn’t know if I could get around in my wheelchair...lol) I was so excited to finally come back and get some new crystals!! Everyone was very helpful and friendly! They were very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had about a few stones I was drawn to but I had never heard of! The atmosphere was so calming and it smells amazing! I had absolutely no issues getting around the store and finding everything I was looking for and then some! I can’t wait to return this weekend!! I just learned you offer guided meditation!! Our family has been looking into meditation, so I will pick your brain next time we see you...my daughter on the other hand already returned this afternoon! I can’t keep her away! 😂

The staff at Soul Essentials are always positive and knowledgeable, and if youre the type of person that ends up in a place like this, theres something there for you. Every surface is packed with a treasure trove and it can be overwhelming at first but while cluttered, it is always clean. Everyone is respectful on the premises, even the black cat named Jupiter is tolerant of my daughter who can barely contain herself any time she sees him. I suggest you take your time here, rushing ruins the experience. Every time I go back, I notice something new. The prices are high because everything is legit. You get what you pay for. Dont rob yourself.

I enjoyed visiting this place. The gems and stones and the senses of all the incense and oils was exciting. Their merchandise is a little pricey oh, but once you read up on their stones and what they represent I wouldnt mind buying them I recommend everyone go check them out.

Such a beautiful store; the outside was very cute and the inside was even better. I never been to a metaphysical store with such a great aesthetic and vibe. The clothes there had a very cute bohemian style to them and the variety of crystals was to die for; also, the prices aren’t as bad as some reviews will make it seem, specially now a days it’s hard for local shops to compete against big online markets. All in all it was an amazing experience and I will be coming back soon ☀︎︎

I walked into this place yesterday to do some shopping as I have done in the past. I have been shopping here for a couple of months. I entered the store and was followed around by a woman that has GREY hair then she told a gentalman to come out of the back to follow me a round as well. Now I have never been so uncomfortable to the point that I was angry. I have money to shop at this store. Me and my sister have spent a great amount of money at this store I do not appreciate the way they treat me and this is not the first time this has happened. I wouldnt recommend for any of my acquaintances to come here because of the way I get treated every time I come here. Just so disappointed!!!

I love this place! The people are so nice and remember who I am everytime i come in. They are so knowledgeable about every piece, and theyre honest about the ones that theyre not confident in knowing. Pure set of people.

Wonderful place. However, for such a wide variety, the stones and especially clothes seem very overpriced (even with a discount). Some things could be found more cheap/reasonable (even rare items) in larger cities at bigger stores. If things are rare, they should include a why with factual backing information. It would also help sell the item. If things were marked lower, there would be a rapid increase in sales overall and less inventory (and no need for layaway) Which, Im sure would help with overhead and clutter of receipts/things. I also would like to add that the older woman that is the main cashier or employee is quite stone cold in the face and can come across as very rude. Makes me feel very uncomfortable each time I come there and is extremely pushy with sales. The vibrational waves are very off when shes there. There used to be very energetic and bubbly people that worked there but now it seems that its only her. The owner, Jen and others, are quite wonderful and delightful people, however! I will continue to shop here because I love supporting local shops. Maybe consider hiring young and vibrant people that have more knowledge on stones as well, though. Tired of hearing the same definitions for each stone that I later research, only to find that its not what the stones significance holds. I find that quite informative and misleading. Can come across as only selling for money. This can put stereotypes on stone/wicca store owners and turn people away, causing bad business. The things you sell should only be for enlightenment and knowledge, not money. One more thing, I find it quite cultural appropriated that this store uses white sage, which belongs to the Native Americans and Indigenous people. I find that a bit disrespectful as it does not belong to us. Wouldnt want to come across as disrespectful to cultures (especially in these times).Not only that, constant inhalation of sage is not very good for the respiratory system!! Meditation class and card readers are also wonderful! Very relaxing. I would watch out for overpricing in this field, in all aspects. Dont want people to have the wrong idea of what spirituality really means. Theres already a bad name for things of this nature. Wouldnt want to add to it.Love and light.

My friends and I use to be very frequent customers here. We always loved this store and enjoyed the environment until one day we were treated poorly by the lady who is usually in charge of the store, and this lady was never rude to us at all until then for some reason. My friends and I were sitting in the meditation room and the lady working asked us to leave the room since they were having an event soon and the the woman who was in charge of the event told her that there was still plenty of time until the event started and me and my friends can stay a bit longer, and like 10 minutes after that, even after the woman said we could stay, the lady in charge of the store kicked us out the room regardless, and usually when we come to the store and try out the pendulums, we buy them. But oddly enough, after we got kicked out the mediation room, the lady in charge got into a bad mood out of no where, and was rude to my friend saying that if we are gonna touch the pendulums and just “use” them just to put them back, then we should give them to her to cleanse them. Mind you, we have bought plenty of pendulums from this place, each one we “use” we end up buying, and we never were treated that way or talked to about the pendulums until that day. We were never treated poorly until then, and so we decided to stop coming to this store and visit similar stores. This store is great but we didn’t appreciate the rude service we were given.

I absolutely LOVE this shop! Its the best shop in Ocala! The atmosphere is so cool with all the crystals and goodies, it also smells amazing in there with the yummy incense. The owner is the sweetest person and will work with you on the prices of purchases. This shop is really the jewel of Ocala and a must stop by if you visit the area❤

Amazing store and amazing people!

Not a far drive owner is nice and I shop here when I can. However I feel the products are a bit on the high side compared to other places I frequent which is why I don’t shop here as often as I’d like. She has great stuff just price is too high in my opinion.

You can find the same ones online at a much lower price or even other shops in Belleview or the other one in ocala. Today would be my second time shopping here. The Owner and another customer did not make us, my partner and I, feel comfortable at all. The customer hovered over my partner and I as we were shopping and told the owner “If you need me text!”. As we were leaving, the same customer was pulling out of the driveway giving us an evil look. After this experience, I certainly won’t be returning. I’m not sure if it is safe for people who are different.

Its a truley wonderful place! They staff and owner are very friendly and informative, they know their stuff! A wide variety of inventory and although it might be a little on the pricier side, their items are worth it and I like helping out the small businesses with my purchases. I also understand how profit works, over head cost and paying employees to help run a shop goes. In reference to the negative comments, the prices are not really that much higher for the quality you get. Their grab bags are the best!

I absolutely fell in love with this store the first time I went here. Ive always been into crystals and incense. I found this location by going on a paranormal tour which ended at going to Soul Essentials. Since the store is located in a home it feels extremely welcoming. People on the porch were playing music. I felt free being here. My soul was vibrating with light and happiness. As soon as you go inside there are beautiful crystals everywhere. The owner and everyone that steps into this store is so happy. Prices are reasonable for crystals. Bought quite a few from here. I recommend this place to everyone.

This place was nothing like I expected it was in a older type home which was very cool like lots of merchandise they have essential oils they have Stones they have a very vast incense collections everything that you could possibly want from this establishment.
