Great store! Wide selection of groceries with most popular brands available and stocked full. I visited on a Saturday morning and there were multiple workers stocking shelves in every aisle! Parking lot is easy to use and well-designed. Deli, produce, meats & seafood top-notch! Highly recommend!

Good meats but at a higher price compared to other local supermarkets. Just about every product is at a higher price than giant or aldi. I go here only after 10 pm. Only because they are the only supermarket open until 11

They have underground parking but elevator doesnt always seem to work well. The handicap riding carts werent working at all, therefore, I havent been able to go shopping there anymore. Its the only grocery store at this end of the island but its also more expensive than other Acme Markets off the island. They run out of items quite often too. Their fresh foods in the bakery and deli seem to be very good tho.

The ACME on 8th St has a very good selection for a grocery store at the beach. I like how you can shop here and still get all the brands you do at home for the same price. They also have a pretty good meat selection. The bakery stocks local and NJ good along with charcuterie items like fancy cheeses and cured meats. Essentially this place will have what you need.Something to note is that renters typically come on Saturday, so both Fridays and Saturdays tend to be very busy at this location. If you can get there on another day (Thursday night, Friday morning) your experience will be better.Parking is limited and tight, but they do have a free underground garage that is usually empty. It floods when there is rain, but its worth it to take the elevator instead of having to deal with the mayhem upstairs.This is pretty much your only option in the north end of Ocean City, but they will definitely have what you need. Post-Covid, you can even order your groceries ahead.

The place to shop on the island when youre stocking up for summer vacation. Off island prices are lower but then youd have to drive off island. Who wants that when you only have a week vacation.

Convenient when in OC. Space is a little tight and selection is a little limited but I was able to get everything we needed.

Not many options for groceries if you want to stay on the island, so its good that this store has a surprising variety for its size. Frequently crowded but the underground parking area always has plenty of open spots.

The “live” lobsters were being kept on a layer of ice. Almost all of them were dead and swarmed with flies, and the only live one was barely twitching. I’m all for selling live lobsters, but don’t sell them on freshwater ice where they will die slowly and then stink up your store. Put them in a saltwater tank.

Big supermarket at the entrance of the island. A lot of options but sometimes meat and poultry is old. Also a bit overpriced. Overall solid grocery store but would recommend going shopping before going into the island.

Cramped store and crowded in summertime, would have only given 3 stars but their staff does an exceptional job handling the crowd (directing traffic and organizing lines). In the end 3 star store, 5 star employees

Don’t order Drive up & Go unless you’re ready to drive up and wait for at least 30 to 45 minutes and then have someone give you the completely wrong order. What a joke of a place!

As a shore store this is one of the better shopping experiences, but as with all shore stores, the selection is very limited.

Stopped in to get soda on the way back from the farmers market at 6th street. Big store for an ocean community. Not many resorts have a convenient supermarket. Its great for a beach resort that has so many rental houses.We like to bring the family and have breakfast and lunch at home then have dinner out. This year out means carryout. Its been nice for Gram and Pops to see the family.

Wow! What a find -- like striking gold -- for a group of NYC vacationers down for the week. All 10 of us piled into two cars and moseyed over to ACME and got absolutely every- every-THING that we needed (and wanted) for a much-needed breath of fresh (ocean) air in the middle of this pandemic. There were super comprehensive safety measure (e.g., one-way shopping lanes, mask requirements, hand sanitizer stations), and, I have to say, ACME really paved the way for us to have a lovely stay in Ocean City, New Jersey 🤙!

Its Acme. Its never the most exciting of trips but you can get what you need. Parking is easy, walking is entirely up to you.

During the winter this acme is well stocked and has a great deli...unforunately I have to review this also as some who shops for instacart and I have to say theres a very good reason your orders are left hanging for so long.

Walking to our car, I slipped on the handicap paint that is supposed to be non slip paint. Thankfully I was able to grab the shopping cart to catch myself. A

Good selection for a small island grocery store, if a bit expensive. We didnt interact with the staff very much - and a few times people seemed to be standing around and just talking to each other, but it wasnt very busy so that can be expected - but the nice lady who processed our items at checkout was very friendly and helpful when we asked about island COVID policies and impact.
