My mother works there and have been doing hair since 1995. She is new to the salon and is very professional and serious about the business. She labels herself as a Haircare Specialist because she genuinely care about her clients hair. She is proficient with natural hair textures and relaxers. You should come check her out. Awful. I usually go to the same hairdresser but today I felt spontaneous and wanted a short cut today and my regular hairdresser at a different salon requires a week advance notice so I decided to try jcp salon. That was my first mistake. Went there against my moms warning (mother always knows best I guess) but I was determined to prove her wrong so I left and when I arrived at 5:45 for my 6pm appointment the hairdresser wasnt even there yet. I waited the once she set up her station called me back and asked me what I wanted blah blah blah and then asked me to go to the rinsing station to which I explained I prefer dry cut versus having it wet and cut she then hesitated and asked me again if I could go over there which made it awkward because my response remained the same. She then told me she wasnt comfortable cutting my hair if that was the case because she wasnt expierenced in dry cutting mind you she looked pretty young. What place hires hairdressers who dont know how to cut all hair types?! Then got passed off to another busy hairdresser who I had to wait 45 minutes for before I decided maybe this place wasnt for me and walked out due to the long wait I had for an appointment I scheduled. Ridiculous. Never going back.

I was referred by a stylist because I needed my hair done one day with limited time. I was very pleased.

I made an appointment to get a simple hair cut one evening after work. I checked into the salon 5 mins before my appointment and nobody was at the counter, a few mins later an associate on her way out of the salon asked if she could help and I told her I what I was there for and she told me to sit down and someone with be with me shortly. As I waited 3 different associates walked by me multiple times and not one of them aknowledged my presence. After 10 mins one finally turned around from the computer and asked why I was there. I told her I have been waiting 15 mins for my appointment! She went in the back to check with the stylist that was suppose to do my hair and she returned only to tell me it would be another 15 to 20 mins! This is unheard of for any place that has appointment, never wasting my time here again.

Horrible service in there,carefull with the nail polish they put nail polish remover in it when they start to run low or dry out from them using it.Dont even waste your time with the manager Russell he is very unhelpful .
