They indicated several customers were ahead of me and it could take up to 2 hours to get to my car. They got me finished in record time and completed each item in superior fashion! I called without notice on a Friday afternoon asking to see a vehicle I saw online. Dan Neumann answered the phone at Ewald and was very helpful. I can’t believe the deals they let me walk out the door with. Every. Time. If I could give 6 stars, I would give 5.4.

My neighbor brought my truck in due to a low coolant level alert. Turns out the overflow coolant container had cracked along the seam and any coolant pushed to the container leaked out through the crack. I do not believe that the overflow container was damaged recently as I have seen the low coolant level warning multiple times in the past, primarily in the winter months, and had checked the coolant level on several occasions without finding any issue (it never occurred to me to look at the overflow container for cracks).The service department looked at my vehicle, identified the issued, and informed my neighbor that the repair would be covered under warranty. Only to realize that after they completed the repair, the truck was no longer covered. At that time, they informed my neighbor that the fee for the repair was $480.00. The repair was never approved and signed off on, but yet they expected payment prior to releasing the vehicle.If they would have provided a description of the problem prior to completing the work, it is likely that this repair could have been completed via DIY or at a different service center with more favorable pricing (simple repair to complete).Service department ended up giving me a discounted price of $280.00 on the repair (dealer cost plus labor) as a result of their failure to communicate, however, this was after 90 minutes of negotiating on the phone and then being given an ultimatum of $280.00 charge, or having them bill me for the diagnostic test and keeping the truck overnight to reverse the repair that they had just completed.Without any real options and 4 hours after arriving, my neighbor was able to leave with the truck and I paid the $280.00 charge.

My vehicle was in for some very difficult electrical problem. I understand that, however over a month in shop was too long. I am really dissatisfied with the communication from service writers. I had to keep calling for status updates. I never once received a call from them as to the status. That’s just not good service.

Went Im for oil change and wheel rotation. Also asked how brakes looked. When I was told they were done and went to the cashier I saw that brakes were listed as 9mm when they were 3 last time. Turns out they couldnt get the wheels off due to the looking nuts so didnt inspect braked or rotate tires. They never came to ask me where the locking nut was...I have 2 on the car and they could have done the service I wanted. I was in the writing room the whole time. Totally unacceptable service.

If youre purchasing a used car, I recommend having it evaluated by another dealer or mechanic! I purchased a sued vehicle, and like many others, the check engine light illuminated shortly after purchase.The used car manger refused to take responsibility for this occurrence, and now Im responsible for the nearly $1000 in repairs. The manager offered, employee pricing, which was not reflected on my bill. It seems oddly convenient that they are able to go through my vehicle with a fine-toothed comb when Im footing the bill.Overall, I am dissatisfied and would not recommend doing business with them.AMENDMENT:Following conversations with the management staff, I will be getting some of my money back.Following the aforementioned service, I decided to have the vehicle inspected by another dealership. The vehicle had an oil leak that required immediate intervention and an additional $2000 in repairs. Thankfully this was covered by the extended warranty.Although I am pleased with getting some money back, I would still recommend getting the vehicle inspected by a 3rd party.

Ken was great to work with. Easy to establish rapport and very honest and upfront in the entire process. We had a little bit of logistics to work out, but Ken and the Ewald team were great to accommodate our needs in getting this purchase completed smoothly and in a timely manner. Not a big deal, but I would have chosen to go home for that amount of time if given the option. Plus, being disabled, I was shocked that there werent any ramps anywhere on the property.
